    Great video Parker. I'm confused at time 3:02. Why would you have to try to align the animation skeleton to the rest pose? Isn't Houdini supposed to be procedural? Isn't it possible to have the animation on frame automatically constrain/move to the restpose via VEX? I mean manually doing it is a solution for 2 or 3 characters, but if you're re-targeting 10's or 100's of characters it would be a nightmare, unless it was procedural. Any help would be awesome. Thanks again.

    Love the examples! I'm wondering though - how would you for instance no animate the mouth of your character that is attached through these motion clips? Where would you add in the bones /morphs to control that and it would still update with other FBX animamtions? Thanks!

    hello, this tutorial cover the same content with the one uploaded by sidefx, which is also covered at their tutorial documentation. what i can't seem to find is the next step, cleaning the animation up. do you know if there's any node we can use to smoothen the interpolation? something that delays or blend animations between two frames.

    Hey man, sorry to come with such a silly problem... But i cant seem to solve it. I was alligning the rig, pressed a number by accident, and now only the Posed Character rig displays in the viewport on the rigmatchpose :( i dunno what to do

    Thanks for this video, just curious if you know a workflow between Houdini (asset and skeleton) > Cascaduer (rigging and animation)

      Hey man just getting around to some of these comments I apologize, but I’m assuming cascaded is another software? Sadly I’ve never heard of it, however you should be able to export characters with the fbx character export node. It can be error prone though if your not familiar with it, need to do a tutorial on it when I’m not so swamped!
