Oh wow! I just started learning Redshift and this has been bugging me! Thank you!

Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment!! Appreciate you!!
Wonderful!
Thanks, my friend! Appreciate you watching and leaving a comment!!
Awesome! Wish I'd taken two minutes to watch this months ago. I've been needlessly complicating my comps with Puzzle Mattes to do this sort of thing. Seems like the sort of thing that should default to being on.
I just can’t believe it’s not on by default. Supposedly the puzzle matte workflow is preferred because it retains all the detail and color information but I can’t tell the difference. 🤷🏻♂️
very good bro
Thank you so much for leaving a comment! You made my day!! Hope you have a great day! More content to come!
glass is really very difficult to render without a background@@beMOTIONdESIGN
Quick question here. I’m rendering an object with Depth of Field and alpha channel, however when I import it in After Effects, the HDRI I’m using bleeds through the blurred parts of the object with DoF, and it looks like a halo surrounding it. Any advice on how to get rid of that halo effect?
What renderer are you using? Redshift? Every renderer does this differently, but the problem that you're encountering has to do with anti-aliasing.
Is there a video on the material that is on the glass? video of how you set it up from scratch
Ya know…I’ll make one. I’ll see if I can do it tonight or tomorrow. I’m working on some projects right now with glass-like materials on them and there are definitely some things I’ve learned on this project that I can pass along.
Why isn’t this on by default?
You’d have to ask Maxon that question! 😂
blender is free?
That’s what I’ve heard! 😂
Why not just use Octane? 😂
Why not just use microsoft paint? 😂
Why not just why not? 😂
@@JonathanWinbush I mean…if Microsoft Paint did the job, go for it! Just funny that that this functionality is not default.
