haha yessss, best comment!
Great tip, thanks for sharing. Curveball question, what if I wanted to get some nice refraction and dispersion on objects that are behind it when brought over to composting? Would those need to be built within the compositing and if so, how would I go about doing that?
Oh man! This is a great question I just might have to deep dive on this one and get back to you. As far as I know there isn’t a way to get true refraction looking stuff in compositing although I bet a certain pass with displacement map in AE or a program like that could go a long way. LET ME RESEARCH 🧐
thanks
thanx
You're welcome!
how to export with alpha but object with emission material? When I'm using "alpha" checkboxes - there's no glow on the output. Tried your method in video too.
thanks very much man so you just saved my ass
do you know how to do it with blender octane ?
Can i make that with Redshift anybody know?
Any luck?
How do I do this in Blender?
Is it possible to achieve this using standard / physical renderer? Pulling my hair out here! No affect alpha option, and cannot find alternative.
The only alternative I could think of off the top of my head is just rendering different specular/reflection passes and mixing and matching in compositing to get slightly the same effect but sadly I think this is where some of these fancier renders are a better option.
anyone has an idea how to achieve that exactly in Marmoset?
but how do i do this in arnold
🙏🙏
wow
