    All Your Loads are calculated on KN/m2. For calculation of Load of Flight, You should have Multiplied by its width in order to make in in KN/m however it worked it landing since your landing width is unit meter

      design is done by considering unit width of structure as done for slab and beam

    I am from Bhutan and studied civil engineering from Bangladesh but they follow US codes and method. As Bhutan follows Indian standards, I have little knowledge about that. So will you suggest one textbook with Indian standards available in online? And also I would be grateful if you could make video of complete building analysis tutorials based on Indian Standard. I request you so because you go for every corners to explain about how it comes and that's what i actually need at this moment.
    Thank you

      For starters you can go with RCC designs by BC Punmia... It has every domain included relating to RCC structures..
      After that you can go for Pillai and Menon for getting in depth knowledge

    Is it correct to divide the wt of step and slope by 1/T.... Because density (kn/M3) when multipled with area gives kn/m....but you are again dividing by 1/T so the final unit will be KN...please suggest if my understanding is wrong

    • @civilconst
      @civilconst  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We are doing for per unit width so we have multiplied it by 1 m as well so it’s like volume now rather than area considering length, unit width and depth of steps. So its like (KN/m3 x m x m x m ) x 1/m

    • @civilconst

      Nominal shear stress and maximum shear stress are two different things. We design considering nominal shear stress i.e Tc and you are talking about max shear stress Tmax.

      Buddy u have done everything fine in this tutorial but sorry to inform that u have done one blunder mistake at the last stage no.10. In the last stage ,as u are calculating for distribution reinforcement/bar, take 8 mm diameter bar with cross-section of 50 not 12 mm dia bar . Usually there occurs common and basic concept: during design of stairs, if u are using 12 mm dia bar as ur main bar then for distribution bar always go for lower diameter bars eg.8 mm dia bar for economical designing point of view. If we replace 113 mm^2 with 50 mm^2..the result will be something like 200

    • @civilconst
      @civilconst  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SpritualMantra108 Yes you are right but that's not a blunder mistake as you can opt for 12 mm bar for distribution as well with greater spacing. Basically I made this video as tutorial for college course not as a real site design. These things you learn as you go on working on real projects. Cheers.

    Sir I have a question regarding with the Max. BM calculation: If there's a condition in which both the landings are of different lengths then the Loading will become unsymmetrical and the Max BM will not come in centre, what to do in such case for calculation of max BM. Please help me with this doubt.

    • @civilconst
