Mam, I can definitely say that, this is the best video I have ever seen. You have Explain it lucidly and very well. I request you to make a series of video of complete manual design of a building. It will definitely be bang. Will definitely wait for it.
Good explanation...when calculating dead load for floor finish have u considered the unit weight of marble or granite? marble density 26KN/M3..this may enhance the dead load finally the bending moment
architects always ask for slim structures. so the thickness is very high. it s unwantedly increasing self weight. Also you take advantage of steps.to reduce thickness.
Mam, Your video is excellent. But I have a silly doubt about construction of staircase. 1. When we make waist slab of RCC and steps with bricks then what will be the width of mid landing? 2. Do we actually make last step with bricks or rcc (as 10th step in example)?
Thank you didi. asa video structural design ke lea bohot kam he. kea ap kuch reference book suggest kar chakte hee additional study karne ke lea?? I am Newbie at Civil Engineering. Please suggest some reference Book. Thank you again 😊
could you please elaborate waist slab thickness in figure on 19.39....?? I think when we say waist slab thickness its actually thickness created by waist slab only not riser.....
Effective spans are wrong (C)Landing in same direction as slab= c to c of wall or beam (B) spanning on edge of landing slab with span parallel with riser= going +x+y or going+1+1 (whichever is smaller )
excellent video. but it can be further improved by explaing the idealisation and also bringing BM,SF,deflection concepts with every explanation . Detailing should be given more importance along with BM. Common mistakes done in respective calculation should be brought out . some #D views are excellent . in this case the behaviour of spandrel is not explained. what are its end condition . how is its behavour .. this beam appears to be resting on masonry. you should speak some thing about this also.
Hello. Mam can you provide a practical picture stair/landing of special case (c) under stairs spanning longitudinally where landings are spanning transversely? Would help me understand better.
mostly stair are designed as simply supported. But you have not explained .how to use compression steel . what are the calculation . IS code clause should appear with calculation
Madam I am Retired Superintendenig Engineer in CIDCO Maharashtra . You have taken lot effort to explain staircase I appriciate pains taken to explain When I was in service I had arranged classes as well STAD PRO classes . STADPRO software etc. In your design you see (angle) to have component of vertical. Anyway you explanation Excellent. Send me e mail address if you wish.
distributor bars provided along with main bar to resist temperature, shrinkage stress, cracks and also it provide support to tie main reinforcement as a mesh.
This is the best video so far for staircase detailing design

Thank you and will upload soon.
@@CivilEngineeringMastery mam very supereb design....one more request can you upload steel design of folded staircase
The best video I have ever played on TH-cam for design of stair case... Kudos...
Thank you.
@@CivilEngineeringMastery could you please prepare detailed design excel sheets for stair, beam, footing, watertank, column etc.....
it's Very Helpful Video for us Mam .... Thanks for Sharing Your Knowledge with us
Ma'am such a helpful video for CE students as well as B.ARCH students
what does spanning mean??
Best video ever seen before!!! Could you please make a video for open well type staircase, please.....
Thank you for this tutorial! Well explained!
Glad it was helpful!
Great mam I. Loved ur explanation…. 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Glad you liked it
Thank you very much ma'am

An excellent tutorial and appreciated! Could you please do one RC framing (analysis & details). Thank you!

excellence , thank you❤
No querries need more such informative videos
Good explanation 🔥🔥

Which one is ideal case. Providing beam at just end of going or at the end of landing. What dictates where the beam is to be present?
Mam what's the formula for checking 18:11 depth for Fe500 steel please...

Thank you mam best video can you do rcc folded staircase
Would you pl. Upload detailed design of isolated column footing for property line column both at Moodle & at corner
Thank you very much !
You are welcome!
Wow nice 🙂👍
Thanks 😊

mam can you teach stringer beam design you videos are very excellent
very good

Mam, please make a videos on design of staircase in ETABS, both dogleged and open well staircase.
Thanku mam
Effective spans are wrong
(C)Landing in same direction as slab= c to c of wall or beam
(B) spanning on edge of landing slab with span parallel with riser= going +x+y or going+1+1 (whichever is smaller )

Mam can u pl explain more y 35.5*1.115-1(wl*2)÷2 y we r suvstracting by 1 metre
We are calculating for 1m width.
Mam... how to Design for Spiral staircase.... Like calculating load like doglegged staircase
Hello.
Mam can you provide a practical picture stair/landing of special case (c) under stairs spanning longitudinally where landings are spanning transversely?
Would help me understand better.
Mam why ❓uh r calculating waist slab self wt (292/250) reason behind this??
Why BMD curve downward....?
mostly stair are designed as simply supported. But you have not explained .how to use compression steel . what are the calculation . IS code clause should appear with calculation
Ok
ok

it will be difficult to provide different thickness for waist and landing
both thickness are same.
Ma'am, perhaps you have not told that what will be Ld
In 12min:0sec, why multiply by inclined length of step and divide by length of thread?
The load acting on the slab is found for an inclined width and which is converted to horizontal length.
@@CivilEngineeringMastery , thank you for the reply. Is there any meths logic for dividing by 250?
Sqrt(R^2+T^2)/T is 1/Cosθ(θ being the inclination of the waist slab to the horizontal).
Shouldn't you model that staircase as an angled beam and not a straight beam?
why 292/250 on 12:00
Development length how to find
Very good tutorial but design of mid landing beam is missing
What is distributor?
distributor bars provided along with main bar to resist temperature, shrinkage stress, cracks and also it provide support to tie main reinforcement as a mesh.
