Imagine how bad that'd feel bro, hitting air like 5 times and then getting rocked
It’s almost 5 rounds nv 5 times
FQ,
and no where to hide. I assume these guys are human. I would be and was ashamed , my pride hurt, I guess that is part of being a fighter and maybe that is what keeps them coming back to the ring. To live those days after a win. and suffer those days after a loss. Sorry to say , i was a sloppy boxer. Glad i left the sport and let better boxers take the matt. if you want to know how it feels.. Your head expands to like the size of the arena., all the voices from the audience seem so far away but you tell yourself they are looking at me. Your naked. You tell yourself, your spirit to get you up, don't give up. this time will pass. I feel so bad for the show offs. I know when they are alone they kick themselves. I once did foot work like Ali and did that circular wide punch to the air. I still cringe. Even though at the time it was totally to honor Ali. I had not , done enough to be allowed to honor Ali. It is like a martial artist wearing a yellow body suit. I salute any boxer ( fighter ) and pray for their health. Oh and it is true in in the cartoons. You hear that bell , you still want to get up and start to fathom box. I would hear that bell years afterwards while I drove my car. And NO WAY would i tell anybody in my circles , I boxed and have them look me up on youtube .. lol lol I had 7 fights and won them all, only because i was scared to look friends in the eye. Had I won two more fights , I would be dead. Naked truths.. I once touched gloves with referee cause i thought he was other boxer when i came out. I quickly told him, it was respect.. He let me slide. He knew. Boxing made me calm in times of stress. I lived 50 years in two years as a boxer. Believe me , there are no losers in the ring. Outside , now that is a whole new kettle of fish. My wife never once congratulated me after a win. And she nursed me for a longer period of time, than I was in the ring. I had to make pretend nothing hurt , so i would not get knocked out with an " I told you so ". lol us men know , it does not have to be said... we see it. Thank you all for letting me purge.

Glad Emanuel Augustus was on here. One of my favorite fighters. His fight with micky ward was epic. He was admittedly Mayweathers toughest opponent. Dude was a master of his craft and walked around ready to fight. Deserved more credit than he got. Definitely was never paid what he was worth
love reading these comments about him lol he was such a (master) he had 38W and 34L dont give me the bs about him losing decisions he should of won either because even if you give him all 14 of the close decisions as wins instead of loses he would still have 20 loses! Floyd admired the 0 in the loss column more than anything Agustus was a bum!
@@2stroketyson79 so your telling me a 52 to 20 record is bad🤦🏻. I’m not saying that’s the best record it to call that bad is absolutely ridiculous, not to mention it means that he would have beaten a good bit more world class fighters. Also Floyd admired the 0 show much that he would beat old out of prime fighters like Oscar, Mosley, Cotto, and maybe Pacquiao.
@@2stroketyson79 who has chavez fought? He’s like 70 and 0 right. What big names has he fought
@@2stroketyson79 , Augustus wasn't a bum. He just didn't really care about a win / loss record , he'd take a fight on a days notice , he smoked weed , drank , and had a good time. Despite all of that , on any given night he could beat anybody.
He was a good guy and it's really sad what happened to him. Shot for no reason while walking down the street. He was a master of his craft. If he had taken his career seriously he could have had a very different record , he had fun though and so did the fans watching him.
i agree he beat the hell out mayweather made mayweather change his style he became the drunken master why mayweather hard to beat cause he learn from his hardest fight
Mark Johnson, dodging those punches like he's in a Fight Night video game.
Wasn't ever a fan of the prince, but the dude was crazy good at not getting hit.
He had a lot of power. For a fighter his size. He knocked out a few guys. That looked way bigger than him. I wasnt a fan either. But he was entertaining to watch.
He wasn't good technically and could afford to make mistakes against lesser or slower fighters because his fast reflexes would get him out of trouble. When he fought Barrera, those mistakes were exposed, such as throwing a punch and leaving his chin in the air, wrong footed and off balanced. However, he does deserve his place in this video. I must admit, I was pleased when he lost. I've never liked arrogant big mouths.
@@Aerojet01 He also was pratically a retired boxer when he fought Barrrera, stop misrepresenting information, you can say his competition were lower tier, but to even be able to fight like that and not lose 50% of his fights says a lot about his skill, its the most unsafe possible style
Like him or hate him, the Prince was one entertaining smart arse.
47 minutes?! THAT'S A BANGER!
Lomachenko is just a different breed entirely
Too bad that wuss Lopez ran away from the rematch, he knows he ain't gonna beat Loma twice and it shows.
@@godiegolem he knows Lomachenko won't have a shoulder injury twice...
@@isaacfernandes560 Exactly. And now Lopez lost to the mandatory challenger from clinging to those belts like a kid with candy he stole instead of improving his skills. Not to say that Kambosos isn't good enough to have them, he definitely deserves to be the champ for now. And although it's sad we probably won't get to see Lopez get rocked by Lomachenko in a rematch like what should have happened, maybe we'll get a real blockbuster with Kambosos vs Loma in the near future. Would be a great fight I think between two dogs.
Canelo has been something else for a while now …
He learned a lot fighting Floyd...he may have lost but he used that for fuel. Progressed a lot since then
Ever since that Mexican beef kicked in
@@Giblet16 cope
True that
@@roberttayloriii3149 That's how you lose. You learn from it and use that as fuel for the future. Respect to Canelo for adapting.
When Ali was dodging terrel’s punches Ali was moving his head like “damn these flies are annoying “
My favorite quote from Mike Tyson, when a reporter comment a question in relation to Mike not getting hit by his opponent, Mike asked, "Isn't that the point?"
"They all got a plan till they get hit." M. TYSON
Shame he didn't keep his head movenment into his later career, if he had his record would look very different
Farmer's honoring sweetpea's memory damn near made me cry.
I loved what Farmer did for Sweet Pea. That is a pretty amazing tribute.
Augustus was absolutely amazing. Always loved watching him
And could sit down on his punches and actually fight when he wanted to. Gave Mayweather one of his most difficult fights.
This is one of the best boxing videos I've ever seen and I've seen most of them
Not boxing but Anderson Silva v forest griffin was something else
Prince Naseem was just so much fun to watch.
Definitely. He was massively overrated, but an great showman.
Naseem wasn't shit
@@ArtistFormerlyKnownAsShitlord No he wasn’t. The man was one of the best. His punch’s were powerful and he barely even used his feet. All the power in his arms and could break almost every other boxers guard.

And his son was not happy about it! 15:45. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" Harsh. Gotta give Corrales credit, though. He really wanted to continue that fight!
6:14 cleanest head movement I've ever seen in my entire life.
You could literally have an hour-long video of Prince Naseem Hamed entering the matrix and it would still be scintillating; the guy moved away from punches like repelling magnets.
It's weird how he seems to get a lot of hate from the boxing community
Imagine Naseem's Fame if Social Media was As Big as it is Today . LOL GUY was just pure entertainment
Facts
I feel the same way about how big legends would be if social media was around back then.
He is above every other fighter exepct Ali . Man when he fought you always could expect something special.
Shame about his chin though
Prince Nas was so dam fast lol, but yeah chin wasn't as good as some of his contemporaries
Teddy Atlas blowing up in that guys face was hilarious. Dude wasn’t going to stand idly by while Burton got robbed.
Damn how old are you? Who tf calls him “Burton”? 😆
Naseem fills me with conflicting emotions. He's such a punk, but damn, look at that dodging. Crazy. You can't deny his elusiveness.
I did enjoy watching Barrera smash him. Still, he should have stayed in there and learned from the loss.
I believe that he thought he was exposed and other fighters would learn from that fight cause that’s what I was thinking after I watched that fight and I’m not even a fighter. His pride wouldn’t let him continue imo.
He was a one trick pony once the trick was revealed he bailed
@@wotzcheez Not really a one trick pny if it worked for 99% of its career, and Carrera fought a retired dude, not a peak Naseem, and still he only lost once, boxing fans like you are so dumb because yall think losing once makes you bad lol
I'm from Norfolk,VA and proud to say Sweetpea is a legend here and was voted pound for pound best boxer in the world. Got to meet him as well, cool cat. RIP
11:10 Kinda hard to do that sportsmanship hug when your opponent, the champ, just spent the last two rounds of the fight utterly humiliating your boxing abilities. Being reduced to cardio equipment... he looked pretty pissy after the fight.
GREAT sequence. Amazing footwork/evasion.
GGG got more than he expected from Canelo. He even took a souvenir home with the Broken cheek.
Give me a break dude. It's not surprising that you're going to back Alvarez but you're wrong. The first fight with Triple G and second fight was a draw period end of story.

The Whittaker segment.
When he absolutely whipped JLR? Wow

Thanks for the new video… Always excited for new content of your channel 👍 great work as always
these boxers don't know, just go the body if they have good head dodging. 🤣
8:44 Johnson vs Orozco was called at the right time even if Orozco didn't think so. He had nothing left in his tank, wasn't even defending against those last few punches.
0:40 That duck and counter from the side was the single greatest move Cus taught Tyson.
Canelo completed changed his fighting style after that Floyd fight, I think it was a good idea to have a young canelo get outboxed by Floyd to better teach him because he’s definitely benefiting from it
Floyd screwed Canelo with weight cuts and he was young at the time. Tell a prime Flyod to go up weight classes to fight a prime Canelo now will be suicide.

Prince at 1:28 when towel flops over his head: I meant to do that.
Man Prince Naseem is easily the most entertaining fighter of all time.. there was truly no one like him.. I wish he was competing at this time because with social media he’d be one of the biggest fighters on the planet.. a man that was before his time.. what a legend!
Damn, I hadn’t even heard about Whitaker, that shocked me. RIP Sweet Pea.
So happy that Emanuel Augustus got a spot... what an entertainer... I remember that fight when Teddy Atlas lost his shit... dude was robbed by corrupt judges and arsehole refs so many times... not the greatest fighter in the world, but he sure was the greatest entertainer... (and his fight with Mickey Ward was one of the best scraps i've seen, with over 2,000 punches thrown!) ... anyone in any doubt of his skill would do well to remember/search what Mayweather Snr thought of him.. .
Nas was great because he wasn’t an orthodox boxer, however couldn’t compete at the highest level for long due to the opposition being far to experienced to chase him, was a great counter puncher for sure, who was it that dissembled him again….. Barrera maybe, I remember watching him get taken to the cleaners and I was gutted, he was a British fighter so had our support regardless of his attitude and arrogance, it’s part of the bravado, he was a great showman too.
I’m not taking anything away from him and he still quality’s as a legend even with my opinion.
Livery fighter meets their match. After 30+ fights, Naseem met his.
That is pretty much how I felt when Roy Jones finally lost. I was devestated. I was defnitely a huge fan but it was more than that. It was like something that could always be counted on, him winning, somehow changed how I looked at other things after he lost. Crazy but true...
He defeated 7 world champions, not compete at the highest level? I would argue Naseem look way smaller compared to the juiced mexican, the Naseem was fatter while the mexican was shredded to the gills, and even then Naseem still boxed him for an hour and didn't get KO'd. Everytime it looked like Naseem was getting hit by big shots to the head Naseem was negating most of the energy by following backwards with his punch, Naseem is on another level, and they both said they faced the strongest fighter they've fought.
I used to love watching Too Sharp and Boom Boom Johnson.
Absolutely loved how all boxers were ducking punches taunting their opponent really makes for a great fight.
These days it's all shoulder rolls and running.

Congratulation; what an amazing recompilation of great fight clips. My hat of to you.
The Drunken Master is my 2nd favorite boxer of all time. The Drunken Master was ahead of his time.
Ali was the master and inventor of the Roap-A-Dope..
A good ref in a fight is like how they portrayed god in futurama: "If you do things right people don't even realize you've done anything."
As my soccer coach once said:
"Give a bad player space and they will look good,
give a good player space and they will look great,
give a great player space and they will look excellent,
give an excellent player space and they will look the best."

Nobody did it in boxing like Prince Naseem
Lmao
@Yuriii there’s a reason why he didn’t dance around with Barrera lol
prince hamad fight is what we can expect from a jake paul v ksi fight, how i see it is prince hamad is jake and ksi is the other one just throwing wild shots
I love how they call head movement showboating... that shit was impressive.
Thanks for including Emanuel Augusta
floyd gaymayther running round and round and round and round and round the ring like a white bunny rolling down the hole is the best matrix franchise episode ever produced!!! the bunny says: when you keep running circles, ain't nobody gonna ever hit you! best matrix sequence!!! ever!!! not even pacman!!! just money the judges mang...
Neo’s chacacter must be based on Nicolino Loche, missing on this list
You have to include Hilario Zapata on the next installment of "When Boxers enter the Matrix".
15:00 the whole Floyd segment makes you laugh at the comparisons of devin Haney and shakur Stevenson being as good as or the next pretty boy Floyd. These young guys don’t hold a candle to this man. Mind you they are good. No hate, but no need to compare, they’re Damn good. But Floyd was just on a whole other level.
Floyd wannabes. They only have the stance, but not the skill.
Even Tank ain't close.
To this day, in the age of information, people still like to say that Tyson had no defense. I ask those people, 'were your eyes open on any of those fights?'.
he had amazing head movement tho
This series needed more Emanuel Augustus. Dude owned the matrix
As a British kid on the 90s everyone was prince Naseem in the playgrounds lol west yorkshire loved the guy
After 84 years !
Hamed always irritated me because of how unsportsmanlike he was. Amazingly talented, he had speed, accuracy, power... all the tools, but he was a disrespectful jackwad.
So glad ur back

Emanuel Augustus is easily the most underrated boxer of all times....
Underrated with 34 losses??
@@roberttayloriii3149 ... you obviously know little about the fighter.. he would take fights with little to no time to prepare, and still be a very valiant opponent, and in some cases win those fights, only to be cheated by the judges... so, that 34 loses are deceiving...
