- Former President Barack Obama on Friday launched a direct attack on President Donald Trump and Republicans, and called on Americans to "restore some semblance of sanity to our politics" by voting. It came during an appearance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Well, this just brightened my day.
