Badass bike that i restored, it aint perfect but hell i put my heart into it and i think its awesome. Its gonna be fuck to ride for the track or the beach.
I bought a new '88 TX510 that I still have and am rebuilding. The carb has a choke lever and a tickler button on the left side. It should have both a kick lever and handlebar mounted decompression release. The kicker one needs regular adjustment to work properly. I just picked up a '87 TX510 to rebuild. The bikes are fairly rare and spares are hard to find.

Tried multiple times to contact him, but to no avail, he didnt answer any calls or texts... its an extremely rare bike never seen one like it in florida. Try cafehusky the forum website, tons of guys with huskys they ought to have one just like this bad boy
@@huttbug I have one other quick question how do you check the oil I open the oil expecting a dipstick and there was nothing looked around for a window maybe I'm missing it

I had one of these ...lay it on its side with throttle wide open start straight away ..
I had the air cooled version great bike if you could get it started!
I kicked it a total of TWO times to start it. started on second kick.

Do you have a small black lever underneath your clutch lever I just picked up a 89 te510 and I don't know what that things for what is it?
It's a compression release, so you can kick start it the way I did
