This video shows you how to install a bellows boot on your 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner. The steering rack bellow is a plastic or rubber cover used to protect the joint between the steering rack and the tie rods from dirt, debris, water, and other contaminants that could corrode or damage the tie rod joint.
This repair was done on a 2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 3.4L Sport Utility 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
