"Every time I pull on it, it gets longer." That's what she said. And the grill doesn't catch the lint. It keeps critters out. Or at least it is supposed to do that. And to connect the two sections of hose, use a straight connector and not an adjustable elbow.
hate to be the one to tell ya but code sez max length on the flex duct is 8 feet. too long will decrease air flow and hold more dryer lint prolly . don't bum out ,I gotta get mine in code too. dryer Fires aint cool.
A painful video to watch, don’t stop your day job. None of this work is building code compliant. Max run allowed is 35’ of rigid duct and each 90 degree fitting counts as 5’

Excellent thanks for the tips
Use ridgid pipe from vent hood to dryer area then up to 8 foot transition hose to dryer your going to have lint buildup the way you did this

Depends.... without 90's or 45's I believe that might just make it.... Varies though

If after I die, when I wake up, if there is a dryer vent, I'm in serious trouble.
You can do it thanks for watching
I always curse when I'm installing these dryer vent ducts. It's a royal pain in the ass.
