In Love Actually, the voice actors that voiced Vanessa and Ferb actually ended up together. During the Red Nose day special sequel, they were getting married.
Canonically, Phineas and Frebs ages are “less than 15” so let’s say that Ferb was 12, since Vanessa was just 16 that’s only a 4 year difference when he gets to college.
Phineas and Ferb are about 7 years old with Candace and Vanessa being the same age (15 years old.) So there's obviously an age gap, but thankfully he's of age in the college episode.

Honestly, this relationship is adorable and I especially love how Ferb is never jealous or competing for her affection but is just doing his best to make her happy. Though it is a little weird that the finale is supposed to be 10 years after the start of the series, meaning Ferb would have been 8 at the first time they met and that Vanessa would have been dating an 18-year-old at 26. Personally, I prefer to think they just got the timeline wrong and he was closer to between 10 and 12, since he and Phineas don't seem like 8-year-olds when the series starts.

YES, THANK YOU. I can't handle how terrible it is that they are regularly validating Mari's literal Stalkerish and shallow thinking obsession towards Adrien, too. She can be a much healthier and respectful person and still have a beautiful arc, like Ferb and Venessa.
When Ferb and Vanessa ended up together, I was pleasantly surprised. I mean, it was obvious Ferb had a crush on her, but I never expected it to go any further than that. So when Vanessa pulled up in the car I was like: "No way!!! Aw that's awesome!"
Honestly Ferb should be a role model for everyone. If you love a person and they love someone else, don't try to compete and don't be jealous!! Be happy because the person you love is happy

Found it funny that a different Disney show Gravity falls show that the age difference between Dipper and Wendy was weird but Ferb and Vanessa was ok even if it probably a larger age difference
Just to show how close Vanessa got with the Fletcher’s, if you watch the scene where Ferb is picked up, she says hi to Phineas and he replies “hi Nessa” indicating how close they have become as usually you wouldn’t use a shortened version of someone’s name unless you were extremely close to them.
Realistically the longer your relationship with someone grows (Relationship doesn't mean boyfriend girlfriend just social contact and communication ) closer people will sometimes give nicknames or short names to associate the other. Hence Phineas calling Venessa Nessa. Or giving them full on nicknames that you might identify them with.
How did this relationship even happen? Vanessa was like a teenager but Ferb was only like a kid either Vanessa has super powers or she's like in her late 20s
She was 27 when he was 18. Since the later episode was “ten years later” to go to college and the average graduation of high school is 18, so Ferb was 8 years old logically
There is a thing about summer belongs to you that really frustrates me. I got excited when I saw that Vanessa was gonna be traveling with the phineas and ferb crew, cause they means she could interact with Isabella, Buford and baljeet. But she didn't interact with them. Just a word of advice, characters standing next to each other is not the same thing as them interacting with each other.
I was overjoyed to see them together! Ferbnessa is my favorite ship in the series. I am glad that they had a more romantic relationship later on however. Their age gap was far less significant in their later years, and the height difference leveled out as well.
If Act Your Age is ten years later and Ferb is confirmed to be 18 in that episode and Vanessa is 26. That means that Ferb is 8 and Vanessa is 16 in the original timeline.
I totally shipped them, but was kinda weirded out when they got together at the end since he’s still pretty young. Also really liked Monty, so felt a bit torn, but happy f and v got together 💜
okay, Ferb was around 12-ish while Vanessa is 16-ish. So yes Vanessa is older but she wasn't like 10 years older, she was just a little bit older (4 years older-ish). There was no interest until like college or grown up years so it is perfectly okay.
Now that I'm an adult myself and I realize how weird the situation actually is, I wish that they would have just made Vanessa and Ferb friends in their adulthood and lost Ferbs childhood crush. It's still weird that he is JUST going off to college but it seems like him and Vanessa have been together longer and Ferb might finally be an "adult" but only barely. It was a fun element for the show to give ferb this gigantic crush on the pretty grunge older girl but I think it should have stayed that

I recently went through a full video of all Ferb's Lines. The video was less than fourty minutes long. You *cannot* not see the clues about the love bounding of Vanessa and Ferb. It's wild obvious they were made for each other. Ferb is perfect the way he is. I could buy him a kettle.
Yeah, and it's not half bad. However, I must admit that I find it really annoying how much they use Phineas and Ferb. It makes the creators seem really desperate. The few references in the beginning of the show like Melisa getting a fear of roller coasters because Phineas' and Ferb's almost fell on her was fine and kind of funny, but now they are flat out just having Doof crash with Milo. Don't get me wrong, Doof is great and is still great in the show, but come on!
When you see a relation in a show, you want them to end up together, and when it happens, you're overjoyed this happened. But then realize you will never find your true love...

Found it funny that a different Disney show Gravity falls show that the age difference between Dipper and Wendy was weird but Ferb and Vanessa was ok even if it probably a larger age difference
To be fair, it wasn't treated as an actual romance until they were both waaay older.
Just to show how close Vanessa got with the Fletcher’s, if you watch the scene where Ferb is picked up, she says hi to Phineas and he replies “hi Nessa” indicating how close they have become as usually you wouldn’t use a shortened version of someone’s name unless you were extremely close to them.
Realistically the longer your relationship with someone grows (Relationship doesn't mean boyfriend girlfriend just social contact and communication ) closer people will sometimes give nicknames or short names to associate the other. Hence Phineas calling Venessa Nessa. Or giving them full on nicknames that you might identify them with.
Ferb is highly mature as a kid/preteen. So is Vanessa at her age. That's why they both match perfectly.
I used to think it was just a childhood crush...but they became the best couple in the series after time passed ^^

@@antloyt Think Ferb is around 12-13 with Venessa around 15 So its not much of a age gap. besides maturity wise he's far exceeds everyone else.
She was 27 when he was 18. Since the later episode was “ten years later” to go to college and the average graduation of high school is 18, so Ferb was 8 years old logically

There is a thing about summer belongs to you that really frustrates me. I got excited when I saw that Vanessa was gonna be traveling with the phineas and ferb crew, cause they means she could interact with Isabella, Buford and baljeet. But she didn't interact with them. Just a word of advice, characters standing next to each other is not the same thing as them interacting with each other.
I was overjoyed to see them together! Ferbnessa is my favorite ship in the series. I am glad that they had a more romantic relationship later on however. Their age gap was far less significant in their later years, and the height difference leveled out as well.
If Act Your Age is ten years later and Ferb is confirmed to be 18 in that episode and Vanessa is 26.
That means that Ferb is 8 and Vanessa is 16 in the original timeline.

okay, Ferb was around 12-ish while Vanessa is 16-ish. So yes Vanessa is older but she wasn't like 10 years older, she was just a little bit older (4 years older-ish). There was no interest until like college or grown up years so it is perfectly okay.

Now that I'm an adult myself and I realize how weird the situation actually is, I wish that they would have just made Vanessa and Ferb friends in their adulthood and lost Ferbs childhood crush. It's still weird that he is JUST going off to college but it seems like him and Vanessa have been together longer and Ferb might finally be an "adult" but only barely. It was a fun element for the show to give ferb this gigantic crush on the pretty grunge older girl but I think it should have stayed that

I recently went through a full video of all Ferb's Lines. The video was less than fourty minutes long. You *cannot* not see the clues about the love bounding of Vanessa and Ferb. It's wild obvious they were made for each other. Ferb is perfect the way he is. I could buy him a kettle.

Yeah, and it's not half bad. However, I must admit that I find it really annoying how much they use Phineas and Ferb. It makes the creators seem really desperate. The few references in the beginning of the show like Melisa getting a fear of roller coasters because Phineas' and Ferb's almost fell on her was fine and kind of funny, but now they are flat out just having Doof crash with Milo. Don't get me wrong, Doof is great and is still great in the show, but come on!
