Duh, I think like 90% of the fans wants to finally see Phineas realising Isabella's feelings since the first episode onwards. So it had much more potential than Candace and Jeremy.
I feel like he’s always liked her but only ever realized in high school and was only ready to tell her he returned those feelings in high school, at least, that’s my theory. But if they didn’t confirm that, I always would’ve thought that he liked her too, just didn’t say anything and didn’t understand her hints.
Even as an old man, I love the show. I only wish I had the opportunity to see all of the episodes. This show and the relationships in it are ageless. There is something everyone of all ages

But it’s also realistic... people these days don’t take hints nor confess their feelings fully and also deny them at times so maybe it does makes sense because was so caught up with his inventions and having fun that he didn’t see what was right in front of him...until Isabella began to stop trying then he started to notice her which happens with a lot of people sometimes unfortunately -_-
