Hey man! I found that in my .cst file I don't have "Use large physical textures" option, but I do have "Sets which memory mode to use for physical textures. 0:Extra small (11x11, 121 slots), 1:Small (16x16, 256 slots), 2:Medium (23x23, 529 slots), 3:Large (32x32, 1024 slots), 4:Extra large (45x45, 2025 slots). VirtualTexturingMemoryMode:0.1 = "Large" // one of [Extra Small, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large]" option under Graphics settings. I assume ppl with this should set it to "Small" as there's no "true", nor "false" option?! Also, please avoid calling Fidelity CAS as an Image Scaling technique, it only has sharpening properties n function unlike the other options that are Image Scaling techniques. Yes, they put it all in the same category, but not all do Scaling too. Love the content, keep up the good work bud!
Thanks man I appreciate the love!! Ya on my gaming pc I don't have it either I only have the other two, but on my streaming pc I have all 3. Ya I would just use small or extra small to help with memory.
@@KickRocksGamingChannel Wow, that's super weird, tho lately I'm not surprised that much anything related to COD 😂... Cool bud, that's what I thought I should set it too. I haven't tried it yet, but I will later today n I'll give u a feedback here.
Hey man! Sorry for the delay I've caught up with other things, but eventually last night I got a chance to play around with it. Unfortunately, it doesn't move the needle much on my PC. I've tested all options from Extra Small to Extra Large, the result on all is 1 frame difference which easily fit into margin of error. ✌️
Most likely the i9, from what people have said only the Intel 12th gen & new 13th gen CPUs are getting decent performance in this game. My Ryzen 9 bottlenecks like crazy, I wish I went with Intel. Have you tried turning up the memory scale setting to 2.000000 in the configuration file? Its worked for a lot of people on newer graphics cards.
You can try deleting the file and emptying your recycling bin, just take a pic of all your settings both in game and in the file because everything will reset. Once you delete it the game will generate a new up to date one. Check under the graphics section in the file it might be there and instead of true or false, you can choose from extra small all the way up to extra large. It will be set to large by default just delete it and type small or extra small in between the parentheses.
you deserve way more subscribers the way you help is amazing and the speed you do it at is perfect, no talking no bs intro, just straight business. Thank you!
Are you on a 1080p monitor? Also I don't know if you tried it yet but a lot of people have seen a pretty big performance increase by deleting the "Options.3.cod22" file so the game generates a new one. It will reset all of your in-game settings to default but sometimes it makes a big difference.
@@KickRocksGamingChannel yeah I’m on 1080p. What catches my attention is that my vram useage is constantly on 24% and regarding what you mentioned may be helpful because I got two of those files. One ending with 22 and one ending with 23. I’m going to delete both and try it
@@Breathinggg ya the same thing was happening to a lot of other people and it was making the game constantly try to read both files and any other trace files left over from previous seasons. Just remember to take a pic of your settings because it resets everything to default.
Uhmm you know cod did update the game to fix those stuttering and the bad fps after that stupid season 4 update and after season 5 we lost another 10-15 fps
@@KickRocksGamingChannel I got a 4070 ti and a i7 12700F and I can’t pass 110 steady on warzone 2 I really don’t understand anymore no matter what settings I put on it fps will stay the same
@@Reaperx2312 I hear ya this game is awful performance wise. It taxes the heck out of the CPUs. My friend is on a 4090 and he gets the same FPS as my 3090 just because of his CPU. Hopefully this next game has a lot better optimization.
Oh ya, if I play for long periods of time the temp gets up over 90 degrees. I don't normally play Warzone on this PC, only for TH-cam Content. A month after WZ released I ended up having to upgrade to a better computer because of how much this one struggled to run the game.
No my GPU and the game compensate, so if I'm in 1080 things look a little bigger on my desktop and in 4k everything looks smaller. After I can just adjust it with the zoom feature. There's definitely a quality difference in the game but I get a lot better FPS.
I use i5 2500k and a gtx 980 with 16gb RAM, WARZONE 2.0 Have a TRASH OPTIMIZATION and i cant run it because they just use CPU and make more hard because, the game dont use GPU, I play games more heavy than Warzone 2 and i can play better, i just get max 43FPS in game CPU 80% GPU 30% (BUT ITS THE CPU...) I use 4,7Ghz i can push the GPU easy but on Warzone 2 well they just dont use
I hear ya, I upgraded a couple months after WZ 2 came out and I went from the I7 10700f & 2060 to a Ryzen 9 5900x & 3090 thinking it would be way better but the Ryzen was still bottlenecking causing my GPU to only get up to around 55-60%.
I use a 3080TI GeForce and get max 100-115 fps on warzone. Spent close to 12 hours trying to get more and it is capped out! This graphics card suck lmao
Its probably your CPU, 3080ti is a beast! Its not just you though everyone is having issues with this game bottlenecking the CPU. I have a 3090 and the game has felt terrible the last couple weeks. My friend has the new 4090 with a Ryzen 7900x and he's only topping out at 170fps. Supposedly the only CPU that's running this game smooth is the newest i9 13900k.
Ive tried all of this and much more nothing helps. I only have a 2060 super and 2700x but 50 to 70 fps in 1080p is just unacceptable in vondel. It literally feels like slow motion at times. Im better off playin on ps5 in 4k at way better frames. God i hate this game 😢
I hear ya bro I feel the exact same way about this game. And I definitely know EXACTLY what you mean by slow motion, it feels like trying to run around under water. The only settings that helped me reduce that slow motion feeling is changing the memory setting in the config file to 2.000000, turning off "hardware accelerated gpu scheduling" in windows, and making sure "low latency mode" in the Nvidia control panel is set to "on" NOT "ultra". Having it on ultra for me makes it feel like I'm moving in quick sand. I have to say I'm not to optimistic about the new game either just because I was only getting like 160-170 fps on the few multiplayer maps we played in the beta. I know its just a beta but if I'm only getting that on my 3090 on small MP maps, what's Warzone going to be like?
No not unless your rewriting things that give you abilities that aren't supposed to be in the game. There's nothing in the configuration file that would do that, its just advanced in game settings. Now if you start messing with other game files, your guess is as good as mine.
If you want everything on low it's not going to use your GPU it's going to bottleneck your CPU. Best thing to do is use your in-game benchmark therefore you know how to do what you need to do. This is horrible info
Each setting literally tells you if it effects the CPU, GPU, or VRAM. If you watch the video I say to put everything that effects the CPU on its lowest setting since Warzone bottlenecks the CPU. The in game benchmark tool won't tell you anything for Warzone because the map size and player counts are totally different then multiplayer.
I was really surprised by how much of a performance increase I actually got changing these settings! Hopefully its works for you as well. We can only hope Modern Warfare 3 & the new Warzone will have much better optimization!! Make sure and Subscribe if you want to be notified of any future videos on this game or the new one.

Drop a vid how to do the ddu driver update for the gpu please!?
On Intel CPUs theard worker count should reflect to the actual cores. On Ryzen CPUs it should be half of actual cores.
