Thank you for your practical and useful assessment. I just picked up the RAB EP myself. I would prefer a “traditional” draw string hood tension adjuster, but it checks all the boxes otherwise. I do recommend that folks try it in their usual size and the next size up. The electron has a noticeably slimmer fit than the most similar RAB jackets. I had to go from L to XL on the electron pro vs. L on my other RAB gear. Thanks again.
I have several down jackets and one of my favourites is the frost down jacket from Peak performance. I have it in XXL because I like it when it is boxy and puffy because I always use the elastic cords to make it so short as possible. Another cool jacket is the Haglöfs Puffy Mimic. I have this in green and it is very nice. Like the Peak jacket I also use the elastic cords at the bottom of this jacket.
This year’s down sweater is even warmer due to a bit more down all over than previous versions. The price reflects the additional fill, but it’s worth it.
Thanks, for the comparison I find a lot of these jackets too lightweight I own one from a brand you did not test Jöttnar. In windy conditions, there are cold spots, and I suspect the same is true for many of the jackets you tested. I need to layer up underneath the jacket to keep warm. or I may be a cold ar*e.

Great video. I agree with the other comment, this is the framework and structure all review guides should adhere to.
Eddie Bauer 😊for me there so many but for the price it’s the best 😊

Great video. Keep up the great work!
The Arcteryx Cirium SL would’ve been worth testing to see how it compared to its big brother the LT.
