Minecraft is such a fantastic game and I hope I never lose my love and passion for it, I started playing in 2009, back when the multiplayer update had come out, and the game just became a thing. i really got into it come 2011, and it has been how I made all my friends throughout my life online, for the ones that have come and gone, and those I have today. Iv put 16,000 hours into this beautiful creation of a game, and I honestly don’t know where I would be in life mentally, physically without finding something that I felt so connected with. I love seeing the connections something so.. simple and calming can make and what can bloom from it. The friendships you can make from it make life worth living. C418 truly made pure beauty of music. This video has suddenly given me an urge to go play Minecraft again. It's been about 3 years since I've played. I know it'll be different. Things change overtime. And I cant change that. Time to start a new world.
This reminds me what i once felt like I was finished with the world, I built a small little house on a hill looking over my buildings. Then set an armor stand right outside the door with my armor and sword. Then I made a chair (using a boat so I can sit in it) and watched the sunset with my dog. Then I left the world right before the sunset ended so my guy and dog can watch it for an eternity. No mobs, no monsters. Just the sunset, together...
Me my dad and my uncle made a map called ‘poo’ which was a large creative map that we spent literal months straight, like thousands of hours building and we lost it because of an Xbox update… however, 5 years later (last summer) I was going through the maps on the non-main Xbox account and I stumbled upon it, and I opened it making memories flood through me. I am going to invite my uncle over at some point to play again.

Mice on Venus reminds me of my maternal uncle.we used to play minecraft together and build many great houses sadly he passed away today by a heart attack and has been my greatest uncle in my entire life,im literally crying right now writing this since i had so many memories with him.Have Fun with ur family until it is over,life is not forever.
Y'know, i see all these comments of people talking about their childhoods with minecraft, and i figured I should leave my mark too I'm 16 by the time of writing this, I've been playing minecraft for 11 of those, and i still remember the first time i played, it was like magic to my five year old self, the idea of this infinite world at my hands it was incredible, i remember playing with my dad and brother when it was just us, we built a large castle, by we i mean mainly my dad of course, it had tall cobblestone walls, lava flowing down them, a large moat, and a huge castle in the middle, i remember building random houses on superflat worlds, going on the trial maps on the old editions of minecraft, my favorite was always the mass effect one, even though i still haven't played the game, because I would always pretend to be a crash landed space man, just role-playing alone to my hearts content, making up stories and lore of my own making, i remember making mega structures, giant castles that stretch into the distance, or big villages for miles, or a giant dragon that breaths fire Anyways, thanks for listening to me talk, I hope you all have a good day, afternoon, or night, and hey, keep on living, because someone cares about you, i can guarantee that
I remember my first Minecraft world, it was beautiful, endless feelings and emotions of the deepest and most intense that no other video game could provoke in me, I remember perfectly that the food bar did not even exist and the nether was built as such. With blocks of gold and the reactor in the background, I was an innocent child about to embark on my first adventure in a survival world, I remember that I built my first house with oak and birch logs and it took me about 20 minutes to cut down about 4 trees . haha, when I didn't even know what a crafting table was, when my first night fell, I noticed in the distance, right under the tree I had cut down, there was a zombie and a skeleton looking at me, the feeling. In that moment it was pure, I felt extreme terror. and an amazement that awakened in me a survival instinct that I will never forget, I ran as far as I could to my house and closed the doors and windows with blocks of dirt until the next morning, which was like 4 days late in Minecraft to build my house haha, I made it with logs of wood and earth until I discovered for the first time an island floating in the air in my world and I was amazed with such a piece of earth and rock floating in the middle of nowhere, It was then that I decided to build a house above that floating island, it was quite a challenge for me since under the island it was dark and many mobs were respawning, so it was difficult to get close to the place, that was when I discovered the crafting table, I remember perfectly that I made an arrow (since zombies when they died burned by the sun only dropped a feather) adding to that I made a stick and breaking the gravel gave me a flint, I made an arrow haha somehow an arrow made me feel safe so I decided to try I climbed the island again and again, suffering many deaths along the way, until in one of those attempts a crepper exploded next to me and on the side of a mountain, falling a block that I had never seen before, it turns out it was cobblestone and with that cobblestone I made my first sword, I naively thought it was a diamond sword haha and I felt powerful so I went to the island with everything and killed all the mobs below and finally I was able to go up to the island and build a house. I felt like the king of the world and victorious, the satisfaction I felt at that moment was indescribable and I knew that I had found my favorite game and it helped me a lot to combat the rejection of my peers. Bro every single song in this video gave me vivid childhood memories of Minecraft with my brother, especially Mice on Venus. I started playing Minecraft on version 1.6.2, I will never forget playing Minecraft with my big brother, and we used to have this huge base, and the last time we played together on that world, we had Mice on Venus. These OG songs can make anyone cry, Minecraft is not just a game, it is a childhood, we never quit the game, we just take really long breaks. I just hope you guys all spend your childhood wisely.
This actually makes me tear up. I used to play Minecraft with my brother everyday until I was 10. Instead I started helping out my mom and had no time for games. My brother would ask me to play but I’d always say I was busy. We haven’t played Minecraft together since and I still remember our worlds. I wish I could go back and play one more time.
This was honestly the best thing I could have asked for. It brings me back memories from 3rd grade, during digital learning. Whenever me and my friend were supposed to be doing work, we would always be playing Minecraft instead, having a great time. We would boot up our survival world and just talk through the minecraft chat, switching windows to work occasionally. the minute i clicked on this song I almost fell in tears over the fact that I have been growing up with this game and watching it evolve. I used to play hours a day with the boiz on 1 minecraft world we were dedicated to. THis game genuinly makes my feel alive inside. Even though I don't play the game that much anymore; the memories, fun times, laughs with friends, and adventures throughout that world of green nostalgia, will always remain in my heart until the day I die. When i bought Minecraft my older brother called me dumb and said the game isn't good, so i didnt play it for the first 2 years, except for one day i was bored and wanted a new game to play i suddenly remember Minecraft, i downloaded it on my ps4 snd started playing and i kept playing nonstop after some time i had to move to a different country and i could barely play the game, thats when my world corrupted and I almost cried.
I can understand u. I lost my 4year minecraft world and I cried even tho I'm a man. And that is the reason I quit playing minecraft. Whenever I played again it never felt the same.😢
This reminds me of how i used to fake crazy stuff only to make me and my buddies gameplay very fun. I would spawn lots of hostile mobs to create some sort of "apocalypse" without them knowing. And would say that there is some kind of Minecraft god thet will give us wishes if we did quests, though it was just me using operator commands. I only told them we used a difficulty called "Minecraft Must Die". I like how we all laugh at these crazy moments that i faked. I only want them to feel happy :) I hope they are doing better nowadays.
Listening to this playlist has just provoked an extremely specific emotion that I lost for a couple of years. Peace. I have just moved to London on my own, away from all my family and friends, and I have never felt more isolated and alone. I feel no sense of community here. Everybody is extremely distracted by themselves and our new hyper-consumeristic and capitalistic culture. We have lost all sense of community in the last couple of years. That’s why Minecraft was special to most people. There was a unity amongst strangers that was no less than innocent and simple. You weren’t a product. You didn’t have to survive in anything other than the Minecraft wild. Your value didn’t lie in the hands of societies expectations. Minecraft was a place of freedom to create and build community. Moving to London is all I ever wanted and more, but I can’t help but feel frightened that I will never feel that level of peace again. I know it is a pessimistic way to look towards your future but I don’t think that there’s anything that will ever compare to that feeling of freedom and excitement as an adolescent, trying to navigate the darkness of the outside world. All you had back in the day was a torch and a sketchy looking cave to worry about. Minecraft was a testament to its time. Bringing together inspired and creative people of all categories in a period of time where the world was changing so rapidly around us. The soundtrack perfectly encapsulates the simplicity of life then. I will forever hold a great respect to Minecraft and this soundtrack, however, I will always feel so bitter that I won’t feel that way again.

I used to play this game a lot with my brother. We would either roleplay in the pack worlds, (Festive, ancient greece, halloween, etc), build a gigantic world with roleplay buildings and random statues then roleplay in it (i remember placing a torch on every block on the walls haha i was such a scaredy cat- and i still remember one of my houses very clearly- a square brick house. Quartz stairs for the couch, with banners beneath the end stairs for pillows. No windows, just torches. An iron door because it made me feel safe), build a lot of random stuff in a superflat world, or join a survival world and just cheat a lot with creative then decide to just blow things up. I remember qe made this superflat world made out of TNT and built a TNT home haha. I begged him not to ignite it but he still did. We hardly play tg anymore but i cherish the times we do. Now, i play a lot with my friend. We built an entire survival world together. Cant wait to play it again soon. Might ask my brother if he wants to play this weekend. I remember when me and my cousin would play Minecraft nearly everyday, no matter how far or close we were, being that we lived a state away from each other and I would only see her when I visited my mom who lived in the same state as her. We had so many worlds together, just exploring, building, and discovering. When herobrine was alive she would always say she saw him, I believed it and it kept us searching for him. Each worlds first night was a thrilling experience, being thrust into a sea of mobs and chaos, we were almost never prepared and it was fun that way. I also recall the mega structures and large towns we would build, we will find a village and then we would remodel and rebuild all the homes, we would build walls to keep them safe, we would make the terrain more accessible, and we would add lore or a story to why the villages all looked so unique, if the village was in the plains we would make it look like a German village, if it was in a spruce biome we would make it have a Viking theme, if the village was in the tundra it would be Japanese themed, if it was in the desert it would have an Arab theme, and so on. I remember the pets we would have, she would have horses and make stables for them and I would have dogs and make them their own rooms. It was always just us two and the infinite world, which could be either scary or calming. That was when we were younger though. She is in college now and I’m in the middle of highschool, time has become a finite resource and I regret deleting all those old worlds we made along the way. Anyways, make the most of your life, it’s short so live in the moment and don’t forget the good times you had along the way.

The most nostalgic minecraft music for me is when the game is loading or basically the menu. I started playing Minecraft on version 1.6.2, I will never forget playing Minecraft with my big brother, and we used to have this huge base, and the last time we played together on that world, we had Mice on Venus. These OG songs can make anyone cry, Minecraft is not just a game, it is a childhood, we never quit the game, we just take really long breaks. I just hope you guys all spend your childhood wisely.
This actually makes me tear up. I used to play Minecraft with my brother everyday until I was 10. Instead I started helping out my mom and had no time for games. My brother would ask me to play but I’d always say I was busy. We haven’t played Minecraft together since and I still remember our worlds. I wish I could go back and play one more time.

This was honestly the best thing I could have asked for. It brings me back memories from 3rd grade, during digital learning. Whenever me and my friend were supposed to be doing work, we would always be playing Minecraft instead, having a great time. We would boot up our survival world and just talk through the minecraft chat, switching windows to work occasionally. It was one of the best times of my life, and it made virtual learning so much better. Thank you so much for bringing back these memories.

the minute i clicked on this song I almost fell in tears over the fact that I have been growing up with this game and watching it evolve. I used to play hours a day with the boiz on 1 minecraft world we were dedicated to. THis game genuinly makes my feel alive inside. Even though I don't play the game that much anymore; the memories, fun times, laughs with friends, and adventures throughout that world of green nostalgia, will always remain in my heart until the day I die. Seriously, I've never felt a connection with a game in my entire life. This truly hits different. God bless all of y'all!!!
Minecraft music immediately brings me back to all the happy memories from my pre-teen years. I got the Xbox 360 version of the game on launch since my dad worked for Microsoft at the time. It's hard to believe that was basically half my life ago now 😢

ok, you had your childhoods too, but being a brazilian, this hits much harder, my generation was raised watching this and almost all the youtubers I watched when I was younger no longer exist.
When i bought Minecraft my older brother called me dumb and said the game isn't good, so i didnt play it for the first 2 years, except for one day i was bored and wanted a new game to play i suddenly remember Minecraft, i downloaded it on my ps4 snd started playing and i kept playing nonstop after some time i had to move to a different country and i could barely play the game, thats when my world corrupted and I almost cried.
I can understand u. I lost my 4year minecraft world and I cried even tho I'm a man. And that is the reason I quit playing minecraft. Whenever I played again it never felt the same.😢

This reminds me of how i used to fake crazy stuff only to make me and my buddies gameplay very fun. I would spawn lots of hostile mobs to create some sort of "apocalypse" without them knowing. And would say that there is some kind of Minecraft god thet will give us wishes if we did quests, though it was just me using operator commands.
I only told them we used a difficulty called "Minecraft Must Die". I like how we all laugh at these crazy moments that i faked. I only want them to feel happy :)
I hope they are doing better nowadays.

I have just moved to London on my own, away from all my family and friends, and I have never felt more isolated and alone.
I feel no sense of community here. Everybody is extremely distracted by themselves and our new hyper-consumeristic and capitalistic culture.
We have lost all sense of community in the last couple of years.
That’s why Minecraft was special to most people. There was a unity amongst strangers that was no less than innocent and simple.
You weren’t a product. You didn’t have to survive in anything other than the Minecraft wild. Your value didn’t lie in the hands of societies expectations.
Minecraft was a place of freedom to create and build community.
Moving to London is all I ever wanted and more, but I can’t help but feel frightened that I will never feel that level of peace again. I know it is a pessimistic way to look towards your future but I don’t think that there’s anything that will ever compare to that feeling of freedom and excitement as an adolescent, trying to navigate the darkness of the outside world.
All you had back in the day was a torch and a sketchy looking cave to worry about.
Minecraft was a testament to its time. Bringing together inspired and creative people of all categories in a period of time where the world was changing so rapidly around us.
The soundtrack perfectly encapsulates the simplicity of life then.
I will forever hold a great respect to Minecraft and this soundtrack, however, I will always feel so bitter that I won’t feel that way again.

I used to play this game a lot with my brother. We would either roleplay in the pack worlds, (Festive, ancient greece, halloween, etc), build a gigantic world with roleplay buildings and random statues then roleplay in it (i remember placing a torch on every block on the walls haha i was such a scaredy cat- and i still remember one of my houses very clearly- a square brick house. Quartz stairs for the couch, with banners beneath the end stairs for pillows. No windows, just torches. An iron door because it made me feel safe), build a lot of random stuff in a superflat world, or join a survival world and just cheat a lot with creative then decide to just blow things up. I remember qe made this superflat world made out of TNT and built a TNT home haha. I begged him not to ignite it but he still did. We hardly play tg anymore but i cherish the times we do. Now, i play a lot with my friend. We built an entire survival world together. Cant wait to play it again soon. Might ask my brother if he wants to play this weekend.

I remember when me and my cousin would play Minecraft nearly everyday, no matter how far or close we were, being that we lived a state away from each other and I would only see her when I visited my mom who lived in the same state as her. We had so many worlds together, just exploring, building, and discovering. When herobrine was alive she would always say she saw him, I believed it and it kept us searching for him. Each worlds first night was a thrilling experience, being thrust into a sea of mobs and chaos, we were almost never prepared and it was fun that way. I also recall the mega structures and large towns we would build, we will find a village and then we would remodel and rebuild all the homes, we would build walls to keep them safe, we would make the terrain more accessible, and we would add lore or a story to why the villages all looked so unique, if the village was in the plains we would make it look like a German village, if it was in a spruce biome we would make it have a Viking theme, if the village was in the tundra it would be Japanese themed, if it was in the desert it would have an Arab theme, and so on. I remember the pets we would have, she would have horses and make stables for them and I would have dogs and make them their own rooms. It was always just us two and the infinite world, which could be either scary or calming. That was when we were younger though. She is in college now and I’m in the middle of highschool, time has become a finite resource and I regret deleting all those old worlds we made along the way. Anyways, make the most of your life, it’s short so live in the moment and don’t forget the good times you had along the way.
man i lost so much good memories, data, friends, good gaming times, minecraft music gives me so much nostalgia and soothes my heart. The most nostalgic minecraft music for me is when the game is loading or basically the menu. I remember playing free mod maps on split player with my friends just such good times i will never be able to get back

This gives so much nostalgia because when i was 4 years old,i played minecraft 1.14 and i played on my mom's phone. After i got my nintendo switch,my dad bought me Minecraft.I played then hen 1.16 launched i didn't know c418 at that point but the more i played the more i learned about it's history,i realized the importance of c418 in Minecraft nostalgia and i wish he comes back one day.
