True Story: 6 years ago in a dark but warm night, while listening to sad music, I got the idea to walk. After some time walking, I noticed the playlist repeat itself. I tend to keep myself positive in moments during work and the people around me so they won't see the other side of me. Unfortunately, the truth is that i'm a broken man. I've lost my mom who was my best friend in late june to a hit and run but I only received this news from my brother around 7am the next day. I still remember every moment, the breakdown, the plane ticket, the arguments from families and the amount of love and support from my mothers friends from different parts of the country. when I said goodbye to her on the day of her funeral that was the first time i've seen her since she was visiting me around march. Now its sept and i feel empty, i'm losing a battle I can't escape, i've grown to accustomed to the elephant in the room. I have her photos and videos but I can never look at them. my beautiful daughter whom my mother only saw a couple of times during her visits will never be able to see how much my mom meant to me but only in memories. My fiancé has been very supportive and still is but I lost someone who I wanted her to see her son get married. now she can see me do it in heaven. Yo te amo mucho mom.

Sometimes i just feel really stressed over so many things. My mother who deals with so much on her mind and cries, my family issues with being so far away from them haven't gotten the chance to see them in years. I isolate myself in my room to shut off the world because i am afraid to make friends due to being hurt many times by fake ones. I do have someone important in my life but she's far away yet so close to my heart and she fears never getting the chance to see me again as i do for her and she struggles too just like i do so much clouds her mind and i try so hard to make her feel better so she knows she isn't alone with the pain she feels. I feel tired of having to watch the people i care and love struggle to find their peace and all i want is for them to be happy as well as i wish that on myself. Maybe someday I'll find the answer but until them i must continue to push through and walk barefoot on this valley of broken glass to reach my paradise where everyone is happy and their pain haunts them no more.

I wish I had someone to go to and open up, so that they could understand and try to help me with my situation but there's no one. I would go to my parents but I don't want to put anything on them (I don't want them to worry about me as they're old and it would make it worse for me to think about how they feel because of me) and I just, can't seem to open up to them as it would put me in an uncomfortable place inside. I had one best friend (still friends with him) who I could open up to and would set up some what of a "therapy session" and I would enjoy opening up to him and he would just talk to me about it, but now he's changed and I miss the old him and we barely talk too. I've lost hope in every thing (currently 15yrs going to gr10) ever since high school I've just become depressed and slowly lost it. I have some temporary moments of joy but they don't last forever or leave a good impression on me. I've wished for death but it would affect everyone who knows and cares about me, I try to live my life but things don't seem to workout. I just cry alone at night so the next day I don't feel too sad but then after a few days I just feel sad again.

I know I don’t deserve her. I treat her good, I love her, I’m a good loyal guy. But, I’m used to taking care of my mom and brother once my dad passed way in 2021. She wants a life with me, and so do I. I just can’t build up the courage to leave my family on their own and start a life with her. I truly love her. Just broke up yesterday with my longdistance relationship. I'm obviously regret, but I had to do it. -note: im not really sure why i typed all this out, i used to always roll my eyes at comments like these on videos like this, but here i am howdy fellas. there's this girl i liked throughout junior and senior year of highschool, when i first met her i started talking to her regularly and it seemed to me that she was into me, i tried asking her out and she friend zoned me, after that i got discouraged and almost completely stopped talking with her. later that year she started dating a friend and it really tore me up, but i kept it hidden. i sort of became friends with her again and kept in touch a bit. then something really weird happened during the summer, the few times i saw her she seemed to always try and look at me without me noticing. i couldn't help but feel hopeful again, but she was still dating my friend. then at the start of senior year she very suddenly broke up with my friend. about a week later she began flirting with me, and then a week after that we began dating, none of our friends knew. 2 weeks into dating she suddenly broke up with me, and im not gonna lie, i acted like a little bitch. i tried changing her mind and made her angry, and i texted her off and on throughout the year about it and she got very sick of it. other than that we basically cut all ties and simply ignored each other. all she told me was that she felt disgusting for dating me, probably because she had only recently broke up with my friend. she also said that i came across as acting selfish in the relationship, which is frankly true. even to this day, almost 2 years after it started i cant seem to get over her or to stop dreaming about her and stupid shit. im basically as down bad as possible. this whole situation negatively effected my last 2 years of highschool, as i never told my friends about it and still haven't. im still sad about it now somehow

It's rough dealing with that so young, but "romance" at that age can be so fickle and shallow. The fact that she friendzoned you, then started dating your friend, broke up with him, then started flirting with you? It's messed up, but some people have no self awareness of how they make other people feel indirectly. It's such a shitty feeling to feel like it was "your turn" with her. Go spend time with your friends, and if you still are close with the one she broke up with, talk to him about it. Joke about it, laugh, move past it together. Frankly, she's a bitch with her own issues it seems like. You'll get over her, there are other girls out there that will treat you much better. I'm not gonna lie to you and say it gets easier, but you get stronger as a result, both emotionally and mentally. My friend I'm 24, been in a few situations similar. To have a girl turn you down/break up with you because she needs "time for herself", only to see her dating a new dude two months later. Trying for so long to forget and move past it, only for her to hit you up again over a year later to "make things right", despite dating a DIFFERENT dude at that point. That all really made me bitter and resentful for a while after. You gotta find what makes you enjoy life. Forget trying to find relationships or letting people control your emotions, who aren't even in your life anymore. I know it's so much easier said than done, believe me. It's taken me since the fucking lockdowns first started to get to a point where I really don't give a shit what other people think, at least those I don't know. It got way better i finally see light again so please never give up and seek help! I tend to keep myself positive in moments during work and the people around me so they won't see the other side of me. Unfortunately, the truth is that i'm a broken man. I've lost my mom who was my best friend in late june to a hit and run but I only received this news from my brother around 7am the next day. I still remember every moment, the breakdown, the plane ticket, the arguments from families and the amount of love and support from my mothers friends from different parts of the country. when I said goodbye to her on the day of her funeral that was the first time i've seen her since she was visiting me around march. Now its sept and i feel empty, i'm losing a battle I can't escape, i've grown to accustomed to the elephant in the room. I have her photos and videos but I can never look at them. my beautiful daughter whom my mother only saw a couple of times during her visits will never be able to see how much my mom meant to me but only in memories. My fiancé has been very supportive and still is but I lost someone who I wanted her to see her son get married. now she can see me do it in heaven. Yo te amo mucho mom.

Sometimes i just feel really stressed over so many things. My mother who deals with so much on her mind and cries, my family issues with being so far away from them haven't gotten the chance to see them in years. I isolate myself in my room to shut off the world because i am afraid to make friends due to being hurt many times by fake ones. I do have someone important in my life but she's far away yet so close to my heart and she fears never getting the chance to see me again as i do for her and she struggles too just like i do so much clouds her mind and i try so hard to make her feel better so she knows she isn't alone with the pain she feels. I feel tired of having to watch the people i care and love struggle to find their peace and all i want is for them to be happy as well as i wish that on myself. Maybe someday I'll find the answer but until them i must continue to push through and walk barefoot on this valley of broken glass to reach my paradise where everyone is happy and their pain haunts them no more.

I wish I had someone to go to and open up, so that they could understand and try to help me with my situation but there's no one. I would go to my parents but I don't want to put anything on them (I don't want them to worry about me as they're old and it would make it worse for me to think about how they feel because of me) and I just, can't seem to open up to them as it would put me in an uncomfortable place inside. I had one best friend (still friends with him) who I could open up to and would set up some what of a "therapy session" and I would enjoy opening up to him and he would just talk to me about it, but now he's changed and I miss the old him and we barely talk too. I've lost hope in every thing (currently 15yrs going to gr10) ever since high school I've just become depressed and slowly lost it. I have some temporary moments of joy but they don't last forever or leave a good impression on me. I've wished for death but it would affect everyone who knows and cares about me, I try to live my life but things don't seem to workout. I just cry alone at night so the next day I don't feel too sad but then after a few days I just feel sad again.

I know I don’t deserve her. I treat her good, I love her, I’m a good loyal guy. But, I’m used to taking care of my mom and brother once my dad passed way in 2021. She wants a life with me, and so do I. I just can’t build up the courage to leave my family on their own and start a life with her. I truly love her. But it’s just not happening and I hate that feeling of not knowing what to do. I think about death way more having my pops pass way in my arms… seeing what he went through tears me up inside.. I just hope I get to see him and my loved ones on the other side. Not now, not soon, but one day..

If she loves you enough she will understand that you have duties you need to fulfill. However if she does not you may want to let her go. howdy fellas. there's this girl i liked throughout junior and senior year of highschool, when i first met her i started talking to her regularly and it seemed to me that she was into me, i tried asking her out and she friend zoned me, after that i got discouraged and almost completely stopped talking with her. later that year she started dating a friend and it really tore me up, but i kept it hidden. i sort of became friends with her again and kept in touch a bit. then something really weird happened during the summer, the few times i saw her she seemed to always try and look at me without me noticing. i couldn't help but feel hopeful again, but she was still dating my friend. then at the start of senior year she very suddenly broke up with my friend. about a week later she began flirting with me, and then a week after that we began dating, none of our friends knew. 2 weeks into dating she suddenly broke up with me, and im not gonna lie, i acted like a little bitch. i tried changing her mind and made her angry, and i texted her off and on throughout the year about it and she got very sick of it. other than that we basically cut all ties and simply ignored each other. all she told me was that she felt disgusting for dating me, probably because she had only recently broke up with my friend. she also said that i came across as acting selfish in the relationship, which is frankly true. even to this day, almost 2 years after it started i cant seem to get over her or to stop dreaming about her and stupid shit. im basically as down bad as possible. this whole situation negatively effected my last 2 years of highschool, as i never told my friends about it and still haven't. im still sad about it now somehow

It's rough dealing with that so young, but "romance" at that age can be so fickle and shallow. The fact that she friendzoned you, then started dating your friend, broke up with him, then started flirting with you? It's messed up, but some people have no self awareness of how they make other people feel indirectly. It's such a shitty feeling to feel like it was "your turn" with her.
Go spend time with your friends, and if you still are close with the one she broke up with, talk to him about it. Joke about it, laugh, move past it together. Frankly, she's a bitch with her own issues it seems like. You'll get over her, there are other girls out there that will treat you much better. I'm not gonna lie to you and say it gets easier, but you get stronger as a result, both emotionally and mentally.
My friend I'm 24, been in a few situations similar. To have a girl turn you down/break up with you because she needs "time for herself", only to see her dating a new dude two months later. Trying for so long to forget and move past it, only for her to hit you up again over a year later to "make things right", despite dating a DIFFERENT dude at that point. That all really made me bitter and resentful for a while after.
You gotta find what makes you enjoy life. Forget trying to find relationships or letting people control your emotions, who aren't even in your life anymore. I know it's so much easier said than done, believe me. It's taken me since the fucking lockdowns first started to get to a point where I really don't give a shit what other people think, at least those I don't know. You get one life, no point in moping and hurting yourself over and over.
But hey, now you'll have a story to tell and a lesson learned. Hopefully :)

I wish I had found this 2 years ago, one of my friends called and said that our buddy Joshua was murdered i waited until I got off the phone and I never cried so much, I sat down in the chair i called family members but I couldn't even finish talking because I would cry so, to this day looking back on it I think I had a severe panic attack because my legs stiffened up my hands and fingers wouldn't bend and my head was moving in a way where it looked like i was possessed.
