- So I tested 16+ iPad stylus's over the last few months and I've updated my recommendations. Don't worry, it's not the Apple Pencil 2 (It's something MUCH cheaper). Also, Apple solved my biggest gripe with stylus's with the USB-C version. Keep Watching!
Here's the Top 3 w/Amazon links:
#1 - ESR Digital Pencil Pro - mreh.ca/3I4Ryew OR mreh.ca/49iEgaa
#2 - Rando Amazon Stylus 2023 - mreh.ca/3UKxo0L
#3 - Apple Pencil USB-C - mreh.ca/3UJcP4E
Best For Creatives: Apple Pencil 2 - mreh.ca/3OMnWpW
Runner Up For Creatives: Zagg Pro Stylus 2 - mreh.ca/3OJzM40

#3 Apple Pencil USB-C - mreh.ca/3UJcP4E
-Newest Apple stylus, an expected update.
-A dongle was needed for the original pencil with new iPads, now obsolete.
-After 6 weeks, it's a competent stylus, better in some ways than the top 2.
-Lacks Pressure Sensitivity, wireless pairing/charging, and double-tap for tool change, unlike Pencil 2.
-Suitable for note-taking and occasional sketches.
-Slightly heavier, providing a substantial feel.
-Battery life is strong at 12 hours.
-Sliding cap hides the charge port and serves as a fidget toy.
-Shorter and heavier, offering better handling.
-Missing extras like spare tips and cables, a drawback.
-Priced at $80, the "Apple tax" is evident.
#2 - Rando Amazon 2023 - mreh.ca/3UKxo0L
-Oddly similar to a stylus reviewed 3 years ago.
-A budget option that rivals the USB-C Apple Pencil at a fraction of the cost.
-Includes spare tips and a charge cable, unlike Apple's offering.
-Attaches to iPad mini/air/pro but doesn't charge there.
-Simple usage with no pairing, 10-hour battery life.
-Lacks power level display in battery widgets.
-Auto-off feature requires frequent reactivation, simulating a real pen experience.
-Different feel on the screen, especially with a matte screen protector.
-Tips wear out faster but the product is a great value at $20.
For actual creatives
-Apple Pencil 2 and Zagg Pro Stylus 2 are top choices for artists, despite their cost.
-Apple Pencil 2 offers unique features like pressure sensitivity and double tap, important for digital artists.
-Zagg Pro Stylus 2 is a good alternative with minor drawbacks like battery life.
#1 ESR Digital Pencil Pro - mreh.ca/3I4Ryew OR mreh.ca/49iEgaa
-ESR has improved significantly, offering competitive accessories.
-The stylus features a capacitive tip, LED battery indicators, and a charging wand for versatility.
-Wireless charging compatible with mini, air, or pro iPads.
-Priced at $25, includes smooth-running extra tips, presenting great value without pressure sensitivity or tool-switching capabilities.

i love how in depth he goes for extremely specific product accessories
Glad to see you uploaded this, i was looking for a decent and recent video!
Edit: Seems i picked the right one. lmao. Had the ESR in my cart since last night.
I am only here to get Monty’s opinion
Nice as always. You did fail to mention that Apple Pencil 2 is frequnetly available at a discount. Randomly at the moment it's $79 from Amazon... Did not check other places...
My iPad Pro case has a rubber molded grippy area for the pencil. It sticks well, even through the case. It also holds it such that the tip and back are cradled so they don’t get caught on anything.
I use the original Apple Pencil 2 with my iPad mini 6 and it's worth every dollar. It is very comfortable, monolithic, and glides well across the screen. I draw a lot in illustration and 3D and this is the perfect tool for me.
I'm a casual user but my number one favorite use is digitally signing documents. Any other stylus makes my signature look like I'm 4 years old. Reminds me of the days using a mouse to sign.
ESR are fantastic they do some excellent cases! I have just bought 2 of their cases for the new iPad Pro 2024 11" Great quality and magenets
I love my 10th gen iPad and USB C pencil setup. I got the set for around $450 new on Amazon so I feel like I got a great value. I will say that you can slide the pencil further up the edge. It can be centered on the side of the device, so it looks the nicest right under the volume buttons.
Same here! I got the same set as you on offer for £458 and I find them a perfect combo 😊
Great vid! Question: Why spell the plural for stylus incorrectly in the description when you say it properly in the video?
I have the same stylus as your ESR, except mine is called eiP. eiP also has this same stylus available in a fast charge USB C version. Depending upon where you purchase, they’re all between $25 - 30 US.
@mobileReviewsEh Love your videos! I'm very impressed with your scientific tests of each item, and that you're "unbought and unbossed." I just wanted to give an unsolicited correction - in your title, it should be "Styluses" (or "Styli")... apostrophes are meant to denote possession, not plurals.
Do you know if they sell a capacitative tip for “eraser” end of the Apple Pencil 2?
Can you make a video on the best iPad cases for young children? Very protective and durable without needing to stay slim and light
what lighting charging cables would you recommend?
cool cool, which one works with iPad Air 2?
Among the eink-tablet community, the Amazon Kindle Scribe Premium Pen is considered as the best pen for drawing and general use if you don't have a pen which is optimised for the eink that you are using, like the HoM2 pen for Supernotes. No idea how it works on regular tablets though...might be worth testing I guess.
There’s one in Temu pencil, that is actually pretty good and it comes with wireless charging for like $20
thanks!
The link for the ESR pencil brings it to a USB-C charging one, not the wireless charging one HELP!!!! I can't find it!!!!
i got the targus one i think it works fine
Dang, that ESR stylus in gray doesn't seem to be available anymore (just white if you want wireless charging).
Esr is one of my favorite accessories brand. Cool they charge wirelessly. I need the pressure sensitivity for editing photos though but a good option for kids who won’t care.
I want to start doing edits (photos and videos) on my iPad Pro. Do I really need pressure sensitive?
@@btam83 it’s good for masking stuff. Otherwise you have to keep adjusting the transparency slider. I do model work so when touching up their skin I have to adjust intensity a lot. If you’re doing landscape or something you probably won’t need it.
i hope that you’ve been doing well!
Please please do this for the new pads
you should do Qi 2 chargers
please test alogic Matrix Ultimate 3-in-1 Wireless Charger
He is back!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
*hand shaking
We need more videos!!!! 😂
How does one access his links?
Review the juggernaut phone case!!
You are my new favorite reviewer! Keep doing what you are doing
That biceps is craaazy
I bought and use the one from Benks.
Easy, Apple Pencil 2 is the best stylus and totally worth its price tag. Especially for artists.
If you have the budget, the Apple Pencil 2, still the best, if not, got for the No. 1 in this list, that's the conclusion right?
Cave-it.
if you’ve only ever read the word?
TH-cam iOS isn't showing your pinned post with links. You fail, TH-cam.
An issue with third party stylii … availability and price for their tips.

Off topic, but I really want to know what breed Monty is? Miniature Schnauzer?

"Oh a stylus, we're going to a stylus right?... No." - Steve Jobs (2007)
And that's why the iPhone (the device he was referring to) still doesn't have one.
Do they work on android tablets? 🤣🤣🤣
Sorry, but for me your razzle dazzle delivery completely obscures the details of your review. I have no idea why you have ranked them the way you have and am not going to watch it several times to figure it out.
