It's admirable you keep most of the original boxes, I've had to bin mine and put everything in plastic box and small bags for loose bits.
meanwhile I store my Gunpla into those plastic food containers because it protects them from getting smoshed and crushed during transport, it works have been using them for 10 years now.
I'm working on a DIY spinning display for my HG Tekkaden models. I hope it'll save space while looking dynamic

I agree. Some kits I just build, some I paint. I really like to keep true to the model and keep standard models and just paint specific parts of the frame or add mirror chrome and gold to metal with the decals and stuff. To each their own it’s freedom!

I have 425 kits. I started in 2020 during pandemic in Thailand then 2024 in move back to PH. I brought all of my kits and when I about to assemble it again some of the parts are already missing. I took me almost 2 months to assemble 80% of them
What I would like to know is how Mecha or you guys feel on not displaying your models? I myself can't picture myself giving hours into the model kit and not having in display. I know space can be problem,that's why I ask about the feeling.
I was looking at picking up an MG Talgeese but haven't been able to determine the best quality of the models. I know the OG Talgeese is getting pretty dated. Was considering the Fluegal with all the weapon mods, but not having the original comb is throwing my off haha. Any insight would be appreciated.

You should really consider reducing the size of your boxes. Ever since I started doing those off a tutorial I found online, it saved me a lot of cabinet space and organized my collection a lot better. But it looks like your ziplock method works for you so different strokes for different folks I guess.
I dont mess with High grade kits too much cause they take up a lot of space. But after 3 years of collecting Rgs, Mgs, and 1 Pg im starting to run out of shelf space.

try to build the Inera Thunderbolt, or SNAA's Blade King. its a really good kit, and very cheap too

@Mecha Gaikotsu First off love this vids, Just a quick question. I was wondering if there was a site I could buy from if i just wanted a spacific part from a kit. Exsample: One of the arms responcible for holding the wings to my RG Wing gundam EW's backpack is busted. Could I find a replacment for that part without having to buy the kit over again?
Quite impressive. But at the same time I can relate to the dread of having to organize and go through such a large collection.

I think you should store them in hard plastic box packages (for each gunpla). It more safe and strong than this thin plastic zipper things.

Something makes me very nostalgic when you make these kinds of videos going through your boxes. I’ve slowed down watching Gundam reviews in general, I’ve been swamped with schoolwork and haven’t had a lot of money to buy kits or time to play with or build them. I can pretty much remember what new kits I had built when each of the reviews for these came out. If you ever consider selling any kits…well I’m definitely going to be one of the first to clamor for some, especially the Lindwurm, it’s so beautiful and unique but I missed the P-ban order and the resellers are so expensive.
I recently acquired the MG Re-Gz custom and I was actually surprised when my build turned out to not be a hand grenade of a kit. After rewatching your review, my kit's backpack parts hold on security, only areas that moves is the waste since it's just a ball joint. I wonder if bandai's improved manufacturing has fixed some of these issues in these older kits when they get reprinted.

You need build a display room man.
All you need are shelves and space😅. So when movers destroy your shelve space, you lose a lot of space. Plus you have to replace that shelf space too.

Pro tip Mecha, the way I store my gunpla in its boxes is bagging up the limbs separately so I’ll have the legs and arms in one bag the chest and waist in another the head v fin and weapons in another one and keep that in the box, keeps it in a better condition I find
