Is it just me or does it seem like the price of exhaust systems has nearly doubled in the past 8 to 10 years?

Not just you. Cobra seems to be the only ones with a reasonable price nowadays still. When I bought my current 08 Ultra Classic, it came with Rineharts true dual system and 4" mufflers. The left side header pipe was cracked 3/4 away around where the o2 bung is at. I emailed them to inquire on replacement and just that one short piece of pipe was 369 bucks! No discount even though I had the entire system. I inquired about both head pipes because you know, replace one, replace both while you're there. 399 for that side! The entire system is 1300 bucks!! Fast forward a couple weeks later, Cobra HP pro 2-1 full system arrived for 630 shipped to my shop for install. Also lifetime warranty as well. Rinehart sounds good, but not double the price good.

I like the way the last two 2 into 1’s sounded but the first Vance and Hines angled cut still rules where sound is concerned
Have the V&H RR Mid Pipes on my bikes. Going to change to Trask Assault 2 into 1. Best pipes hands down.
Khrome Works full exhaust has still been the best I have used.

Why did Vance & Hines move to the PCS technology and add a cat if it doesn't do anything looking for a 2 into 1 Pro pipe for my new St but don't like the PCS technology. Been running the 2-1 pro-pipe in my 94 FXR 107 absolutely love it
The PCS contains a cat. They sold out and started making EPA compliant pipes. They think your motorcycle is going to melt the glaciers and raise the sea levels by 0.000001 inch over 300 years
I think you guys are missing sawicki, I’ve been hearing great things about them and I’m gunna get theirs.
My buddy has a sawicki on his built 103 he says he likes it but it is super loud because it has zero baffle only a perforated core wrapped in high temp fiberglass

Thunderheader unless you live in Californistan where they are not legal. I was told I was gonna have to go back to stock pipes. I thought to myself um no I ain't gonna do that you can write me a ticket I don't care. Well he didn't write me a ticket and I went on my way. So there's at least 1 cool CHIP in Calif.
Vance and Hines just discontinued the Power Duals according to their site.
That sucks. Damned good headpipe (without the b.s. cats).
The should have made the cat as easy to remove as the exhaust baffles!

Vance and Hines has terrible customer service I had a horrific time dealing with them over warranty …they told me they was only interested in selling new exhausts not into fixing the exhausts they already sold …not going to give my hard earned cash to a company with values like that

They all sound the same anyway. A group of 50 harleys rides by and it sounds like one long motorcycle. Hd guys want to he different by all being exactly the same.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON JUST JOINED THE WOKE MOVEMENT! As a lifetime loyal owner and rider, I am SO disappointed that Harley-Davidson has agreed to place the HD logo on the front of new Budlight cans to help bailout Anheuser-Busch from their advertising disaster. Harley is now no better than Budweiser and cares more about its ESG score than its deep-rooted customers. Just thought I'd share this information with your viewers in case they haven't heard yet.
All new Harley's are quiet and lame with reflectors on them lol
