Also, Rob was wrong to say you've passed 25 chances after .25 seconds, as there would only be three (e.g. .000, .111, and .222)

Yakuza Zero, Perfectionist. Get an Ippatsu Riichi in Mahjong. That means, declare your one tile away from going out, and go out before the end of your next turn. You have one turn to draw the one tile you need, and you'll still need to get a straight of nine title, and win to get the trophy. I spent more time play Mahjong than the rest of the game.
Used to play Mahjong with friends years ago, evenings on end. One of the reasons I would go back to Yakuza Zero, just for that. Never found a stand-alone Mahjong game, which plays the game instead of just finding sets in all current Mahjong games.
I got very lucky with mahjong I got Riichi ippatsu on my 3rd Riichi, never played yakuza before or mahjong but learned it and really enjoying it. Disco on the other hand god that mini game is infuriating

Fun fact about the Black Flag trophy, the locations of the discoveries are in fixed spots. When they appear is random, though you can keep coming back to those places to see if they spawned. I just kept fast traveling between areas where the discoveries spawn until they popped up. The Sharing is Caring trophy isn’t that bad to get. Getting the multiplayer trophies on the other hand...... cries in yo-ho.
Not only that but at bars you can ask the bartender for news or something, and sometimes (after resetting the game) he’ll point out one of these social one’s instead of the normal one’s. So it’s fairly easy to get, MP on the other hand...
I have a single Fall Guys crown, and my kids and I all lost our minds when it happened. Also, I have Sharing is Caring on both PS3 and PS4. All three events happen quite often. You aren't unlucky, you've angered some AC god. Not enough gushing about the water, I'd wager.

There's a trophy on injustice 2 that requires you to defeat cheetah with cat women's cat call ability. You can ONLY get it via the in game lootboxes. Also the loot boxes are pre determined when you get them IIRC so no save scumming lol
Oh man I feel your pain with luck based trophies. The Stardew Valley Fector’s challenge trophy almost broke me as a trophy hunter. Basically in Stardew Valley, there’s a mini game called journey of the prairie king, which is essentially a retro twin stick shooter. To get the trophy, you have to get through all the stages without getting hit once. Lots of luck is involved because the item and coin drops, or lack thereof, can make or break a run. Literally took me years to finally nab the trophy 🏆
"Win 5 games in a row" So basically if everyone has the exact same skill level and it is pure luck to win a game is a 1/60 chance. Which means winning 5 games in a row is 1/60^5 chance There is a 1/777,600,000 chance of this happening (almost 800 million)
I remember getting an extremely lucky trophy in Persona 3 on my first try. It was to have a persona summon fail. Somehow it happened the very first time I fused personas, making that the 2nd trophy I earned in the game. I posted about it to reddit afterwards and people said that it took some of them another playthrough of the game for it to even happen.
See it's trophies like this that make me grateful that I carry four authentic four leaf clovers with me in my wallet at all times (three of which I found on the same day.)
I just started playing Fall Guys when it went free-to-play and got the infallible trophy last week. It could've been 7 in a row but I was shy when I jumped for the crown. I need 5-6 more trophies for the plat. The most difficult 2 are coming first place 20 times in races and winning as a squad. Most time consuming I should say

As someone who has the infallible trophy and got it by myself, there is SOOOO much luck into it, you gotta pray that you get the games you want and no bugs occur plus me being mega dumb wore a costume that you need 10 wins to get the full set so people were targeting me all the time and since I did this the first week of the game coming out, you have to beg to the fall guy gods that you don’t get disconnected. But once you get that trophy it is so satisfying knowing you have that but if anyone is trying to plat the game, all I can say is play the game for fun and then if you get three wins in a row that’s when you take it a bit more seriously then
Star Ocean: The Last Hope - 100% of battle trophies - recover HP to the exact maximum capacity - kill an enemy in 1 hit with exact damage 2 times in a row - win 20 consecutive battles with no items drops - deal the same amount of damage twice in a row and so on then there's the fact that these trophies are CHARACTER SPECIFIC, and you need to be controlling them for it to register

It's funny, I kept seeing an ad for Rocket League, at I think, the Padres ball park, and then of course FIFA ads while watching a Premier League game the other night and I couldn't think for the world who they reminded me of. I've got the platinum on all GT games and I can say that the GT6 one isn't that hard to pop. You'll eventually unlocked by the sheer number of laps you do playing the game: at each second, you have 10 shots at getting it, so it isn't that unusual. The game has some others that are far more difficult and annoying to get.
Kinda surprised the 8th gambler challenge from Red dead redemption 2 isn't here. It isn't a trophy within itself but you still need to complete it to get a trophy
To get the rocket league trophy all i did was go into rumble and wait for an opponent to use spikes and use the boot to knock them into their own goal.
Loads of people have infallible because they either quit the game just before they get eliminated or have a party of 4 that try to make it to the end just to throw the final round.
Rapid Discord on Overwatch was hands down the worst for me, spent 60 painful hours on Zenyatta before I managed it. On the other hand my friend casually got it years before without even knowing it was a thing 😭
Video idea here. I've been playing through the Halloween event for Borderlands 3. I always enjoy stuff like this around the holidays, but don't know of many DLCs or games that do the seasonal themes. Maybe 7 best seasonal extras for video games, or 7 best Halloween themed DLCs for this month? Could always use more pumpkins and skulls to smash.
I was playing rocket league this morning for the first time and got it accidentally on my second match by tapping my opponents car then for some reason he kept driving and scored an own goal
I came back to say I also picked it up just now in my third game by punting into the back of an opponent while they were chasing the ball towards their own net...
I can give you a example that maybe a few of you remember if you also had difficulties... Fifa 15 "keeper's best friend" that one, damn, it sure gave me an headache, never got it, funny thing is, once a friend came over to play and got it in his first match 🙃
Honestly, I only have the rocket league one, and I didn't even know of the trophy before I unlocked it, a teamate pushed me, so I crashed to an opponent, wich crashed to the ball, wich gave us the goal 😅 One off those moments you don't forget easly, and yes, it was luck that I was just messing around at that excatc position, because I am not good inn the game, but managed to get platinum 😅
Great thing about the "Infallible" Fall Guys trophy, games like Sweet Thieves counts and you can get lucky and win 5 of those in a row if things go in your favor!
I actually got that three of a kind one but I wasn't trying. I spent months tuning my favourite cars and trying those cars out on the same track one time after another and I remember my surprise when I actually got it.

There are literal LEGENDS about how bad my D&D roll luck is. People tell their friends about my misadventures, their friends don't believe that someone with luck my bad exists, so they show up to ONE game and are like "How is she still ALIVE with luck like that!? How has a piano not crushed her?!" There is a "Hall of Failure". There are 3 entries in the Hall. All 3 are me (just with different characters)
Cat Call, that freaking trophy in Injustice 2 is the only thing preventing me from the plat and it is infuriating. If they do a second list that trophy needs to be included. It is so maddening.

I remember playing The Walking Dead: 400 Days and unlocking an achievement where you have to win 2 games out of three in Rock/Paper/Scissors. I unlocked it on my first try back then.
I've earned the Bioshock one and the rocket league one, yes it happened with a bot during the season but it still happened nonetheless. Infallible is currently the only trophy holding that platinum out of my reach but I have won three games in a row, almost four if I hadn't gotten ducked at Royal fumble in the fourth game
I got a lucky trophy and the one I got was Exotic Butters from FNaF Sister Location it requires the odds of hoping ennard doesn't camp at your door for too long and I also the Hide and Seek master trophy from FNaF Security Breach where you can't use a hiding spot for the whole game and I did it on the first play through on the new patch so I didn't use glitches.
my worst trophy to get that needed luck was the chocobo race in the hidden temple in final fantasy X HD. Another difficult part of this game is getting 0.0 on the chocobo trainer race, no trophy for this though
The Portal trophy where u needed to co-op the tutorial for the FIRST time w/ someone else but it only works once per person, you could delete save data and reset trophies nowadays
I got the Fall Guys platinum, and I assure you that it is was purely skill. And 99.99% luck. On my 4th win I fell in Hex A Gone, from a leading position a third of the way up, right down to the pink. It was over. But the other guy must have fallen a millisecond before me. It was probably Rob.
Any of the trophies in Uncharted 3 requiring relic drops in multiplayer. The multiplayer is sparse and the drops are incredibly rare. You have to kill dozens of people just to get one drop...also, you can get a relic you've already got, which makes the odds worse!
Huh. I got the first 2 trophies on this list within my first 12 hours of gameplay. I had a much harder time getting golds in the Senna tribute challenge and just finding the Reaper in P4G. With the Senna tribute I never stood a chance at that Brands Hatch time trial challenge until I saw an interesting driving theory video all about the guy on a random TH-cam recommended tab. It peaked my curiosity enough to try it out in the game and within half an hour or so (after not playing for years!) I smashed the record almost by a full second!

Injustice 2, “cat fight” requires you to have an ability that is dropped from a loot box system.
That ability should unlock if u do her legendary multiverse challenges. It's much more reliable but highly grinded.

Basically in Stardew Valley, there’s a mini game called journey of the prairie king, which is essentially a retro twin stick shooter. To get the trophy, you have to get through all the stages without getting hit once. Lots of luck is involved because the item and coin drops, or lack thereof, can make or break a run. Literally took me years to finally nab the trophy 🏆

I remember getting an extremely lucky trophy in Persona 3 on my first try. It was to have a persona summon fail. Somehow it happened the very first time I fused personas, making that the 2nd trophy I earned in the game. I posted about it to reddit afterwards and people said that it took some of them another playthrough of the game for it to even happen.
That awkward moment when you really do have all of them. And all of them (except fall guys) were accidentally acquired 😂

I just started playing Fall Guys when it went free-to-play and got the infallible trophy last week. It could've been 7 in a row but I was shy when I jumped for the crown. I need 5-6 more trophies for the plat. The most difficult 2 are coming first place 20 times in races and winning as a squad. Most time consuming I should say

As someone who has the infallible trophy and got it by myself, there is SOOOO much luck into it, you gotta pray that you get the games you want and no bugs occur plus me being mega dumb wore a costume that you need 10 wins to get the full set so people were targeting me all the time and since I did this the first week of the game coming out, you have to beg to the fall guy gods that you don’t get disconnected. But once you get that trophy it is so satisfying knowing you have that but if anyone is trying to plat the game, all I can say is play the game for fun and then if you get three wins in a row that’s when you take it a bit more seriously then

then there's the fact that these trophies are CHARACTER SPECIFIC, and you need to be controlling them for it to register

I platinumed Fall guys with a few buddies earlier this year. One of them just started playing with us when we all unlocked the win 5 episodes. He still doesn’t understand how lucky he is.

It's funny, I kept seeing an ad for Rocket League, at I think, the Padres ball park, and then of course FIFA ads while watching a Premier League game the other night and I couldn't think for the world who they reminded me of. Now that I know it's Rob, I feel bad. Also being pooped by a bird is suppose to be lucky.
I've got the platinum on all GT games and I can say that the GT6 one isn't that hard to pop. You'll eventually unlocked by the sheer number of laps you do playing the game: at each second, you have 10 shots at getting it, so it isn't that unusual. The game has some others that are far more difficult and annoying to get.
Kinda surprised the 8th gambler challenge from Red dead redemption 2 isn't here. It isn't a trophy within itself but you still need to complete it to get a trophy
P4G’s luck based trophy is easy to get since you can save the game and just reload until it pops. You don’t lose time/as much money that way.

To get the rocket league trophy all i did was go into rumble and wait for an opponent to use spikes and use the boot to knock them into their own goal.

Loads of people have infallible because they either quit the game just before they get eliminated or have a party of 4 that try to make it to the end just to throw the final round.
Rapid Discord on Overwatch was hands down the worst for me, spent 60 painful hours on Zenyatta before I managed it. On the other hand my friend casually got it years before without even knowing it was a thing 😭
Video idea here. I've been playing through the Halloween event for Borderlands 3. I always enjoy stuff like this around the holidays, but don't know of many DLCs or games that do the seasonal themes. Maybe 7 best seasonal extras for video games, or 7 best Halloween themed DLCs for this month? Could always use more pumpkins and skulls to smash.
I was playing rocket league this morning for the first time and got it accidentally on my second match by tapping my opponents car then for some reason he kept driving and scored an own goal
I came back to say I also picked it up just now in my third game by punting into the back of an opponent while they were chasing the ball towards their own net...
I can give you a example that maybe a few of you remember if you also had difficulties... Fifa 15 "keeper's best friend" that one, damn, it sure gave me an headache, never got it, funny thing is, once a friend came over to play and got it in his first match 🙃
Honestly, I only have the rocket league one, and I didn't even know of the trophy before I unlocked it, a teamate pushed me, so I crashed to an opponent, wich crashed to the ball, wich gave us the goal 😅
One off those moments you don't forget easly, and yes, it was luck that I was just messing around at that excatc position, because I am not good inn the game, but managed to get platinum 😅

I actually got that three of a kind one but I wasn't trying. I spent months tuning my favourite cars and trying those cars out on the same track one time after another and I remember my surprise when I actually got it.

There are literal LEGENDS about how bad my D&D roll luck is. People tell their friends about my misadventures, their friends don't believe that someone with luck my bad exists, so they show up to ONE game and are like "How is she still ALIVE with luck like that!? How has a piano not crushed her?!" There is a "Hall of Failure". There are 3 entries in the Hall. All 3 are me (just with different characters)

Cat Call, that freaking trophy in Injustice 2 is the only thing preventing me from the plat and it is infuriating. If they do a second list that trophy needs to be included. It is so maddening.

Lucky Me really isn't that bad then again thats coming from a person who got it on their first run by mistake but its apparently not too bad when compared to the others.
I remember playing The Walking Dead: 400 Days and unlocking an achievement where you have to win 2 games out of three in Rock/Paper/Scissors. I unlocked it on my first try back then.

I've earned the Bioshock one and the rocket league one, yes it happened with a bot during the season but it still happened nonetheless. Infallible is currently the only trophy holding that platinum out of my reach but I have won three games in a row, almost four if I hadn't gotten ducked at Royal fumble in the fourth game
I got a lucky trophy and the one I got was Exotic Butters from FNaF Sister Location it requires the odds of hoping ennard doesn't camp at your door for too long and I also the Hide and Seek master trophy from FNaF Security Breach where you can't use a hiding spot for the whole game and I did it on the first play through on the new patch so I didn't use glitches.
Rob does have the Break Shot trophy. I saw it pop for him in another video 😌
my worst trophy to get that needed luck was the chocobo race in the hidden temple in final fantasy X HD. Another difficult part of this game is getting 0.0 on the chocobo trainer race, no trophy for this though
The Portal trophy where u needed to co-op the tutorial for the FIRST time w/ someone else but it only works once per person, you could delete save data and reset trophies nowadays
I got the Fall Guys platinum, and I assure you that it is was purely skill. And 99.99% luck.
On my 4th win I fell in Hex A Gone, from a leading position a third of the way up, right down to the pink. It was over. But the other guy must have fallen a millisecond before me. It was probably Rob.
Any of the trophies in Uncharted 3 requiring relic drops in multiplayer. The multiplayer is sparse and the drops are incredibly rare. You have to kill dozens of people just to get one drop...also, you can get a relic you've already got, which makes the odds worse!
Huh. I got the first 2 trophies on this list within my first 12 hours of gameplay. I had a much harder time getting golds in the Senna tribute challenge and just finding the Reaper in P4G. With the Senna tribute I never stood a chance at that Brands Hatch time trial challenge until I saw an interesting driving theory video all about the guy on a random TH-cam recommended tab. It peaked my curiosity enough to try it out in the game and within half an hour or so (after not playing for years!) I smashed the record almost by a full second!
