Bravery wasn’t the only thing they needed, but Enver Pasha really destroyed the Ottoman army. First in the Battle of Sarikamish where he attacked Russian troops in the heart of winter losing nearly all his men. And again in 1918 when he sent troops to the Caucasus instead of reinforcing the fronts in Mesopotamia and Palestine, all so they could get oil that they couldn’t even transport and a launchpad for a Pan Turkish empire expanding all the way to Turkestan
Many great soldiers, generals and leaders are often remembered by their nicknames, or titles. Like Alexander III of Macedon is remembered as just Alexander the Great, Mustafa Kemal is remembered as Atatürk, Manfred von Richthofen as The Red Baron and Erwin Rommel as the Desert Fox.
Keep it up your videos are cool 👏🏻
Thank you very much. Make sure to share them with others.

Too bad he is remembered by his Turkish name (Skender) and title. (Bej). His Albanian name is Gjergj Kastrioti.
