My dad is cutting his own brackets out they are good hinge brackets for his 73 Ford Bronco the original ones weren’t in the greatest of shape so he is trying to mimic the bracket using a grinder and precision tool. I'd have used the angle grinder to notch out those grooves before cutting them off the plate.

And thats how not to use a grinder😂. Yeah that happened to me wiff a wire buffer wheel and a horseshoe. The finger to the damage, ouch..

@@Christophersanchez1326 dang man ouch indeed!!…I’ve had a grinder wheel break off and hit me in the leg luckily I had on some thicker pants and it barely make a cut into my leg where the big artery is. Crazy things happen all the time!! Stay safe out there thanks for the comment!!
