I have been watching “Phyllis “ since Michelle Stafford played her and hated when Michelle left the role ,but Gina filled her enormous shoes.Her portrayal of Phyllis was just as wonderful as Michelle’s Now that Michelle is coming back I hate to see Gina go. I hate that they fired her just to have Michelle again. The Emmy win should have been enough proof that they struck gold .Why replace someone who made the role there own.Unbelievable they fired her.Shame on you Y& R

Guiding Light actors/actresses and former Guiding Light actors/actresses are the best. If Young & The Restless lost Gina to Guiding Light, I'm fine with that. Gina did an outstanding job on Guiding Light.

This woman won 3 Emmys for 3 different roles on 3 different soaps. Michelle left in '13 with no intention of coming back. Her stalwart fans wanted her back in the role & are trashing Gina for the way she portrayed the character. I like Michelle, but Gina made me like Phyllis.
Gina I think is the only person who won A Daytime Emmy as a "Recast". Dinah #4 on Guiding Light & now Phyllis #3. She did much better than Shari Shattuck as Ashley #3 back in the day. Jess Walton went back on Recurring these past few years so for many not being there Full Time didn't warrant a nomination. Also Laura Wright should consider herself very lucky. To go from Two East Coast Soaps then playing Carly #3 is quite an achievement. Sadly in Britian they didn't have the British Soap Wards because of The Corona Virus.
