Daytime Emmy Award Interviews: Laura Wright of "General Hospital"

The BUZZ attended the 49th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards this past Friday, June 24th, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. We had the chance to speak with the biggest and brightest in daytime television.
Laura Wright has celebrated over 30 years in daytime television, and has portrayed the role of Carly Corinthos on, "General Hospital," since 2005. We spoke some of our (mainly my own) favorite moments over the years, including which Carly pairing I enjoyed the most!
And... I apologize right now that I imitated one of my favorite Carly scenes during this interview, but man, was that a joy!

@@keithpoindexter6758 I am agree. She is. I liked her on a few other projects LW worked on. She just isn't the Carly to me even though she has played the role the longest. I think that is on the writers in some ways. They make the character very naggy and judgemental.

I think the writers of GH are horrible ever since the Nina Sonny debacle the stories have been crappy.. the only thing going on for me is the teen story and Ava and Nicholas Sonny corinthos died in Nixon Falls. I absolutely HATE Sonny now. He looks washed up and a coward.. The writers have poor Laura all over the place..her and Sonny were GH...now it's just Carly and Laura...Sonny lost a lot of his fans with his shenanigans and crossing the line crap with his family, they got Carly looking less than smart....Drew is a poor replacement for Jason ..although I do like Drew...sam and Dante are boring me to tears. Although I was all for Trina ( the old version) and Spencer ...now... I'm for Rory and the new Trina they make a cuter couple....finally GH is letting someone like Trina back
