    1st: HyperX Cooling Gel Rest
    2nd: Razer Foam Rest / Kensington Rest (tied)
    3rd: Glorious PC Rest
    Hi Friends Welcome to Viktors Reality:
    today I have the Ultimate Battle of all my Wrist Rests I currently have! I hope this video helps you decide which one is best for you...
    From all of them my favorite is the HyperX Wrist Rest... The reason?: it is the softest (memory foam), best feeling (spandex material fabric), coolest feeling (literally Cool Gel top layer) and bottom placement (anti skid bottom). It beats in my opinion all the Wrist Rests presented here. But that is just my opinion... I still will use my Razer combo just because I'm used to it and I like how it looks.
    -------------
    HyperX Cooling Gel/Memory Foam:
    This Wrist Rest is the best of the bunch in my opinion. The Cooling Gel really works and is soft and the spandex material fabric is awesome! But remember... this is the most delicate of them all and needs to be taken care of... This is Premium...
    HyperX Cooling Gel:
    amzn.to/347tp1Y
    ------------
    Cooler Master Wrist Rest:
    This one is Splash resistant (it really works) and is soft. Other than that... its last place in my opinion. Tho the boxiness does not effect in comfort at all. The Glow in the Dark icon is small and barely noticable. It's a budget Wrist Rest.
    Cooler Master WR530:
    amzn.to/344rAmx
    -------------
    Razer Family of Products:
    This Razer Green tactile switch keyboard is amazing and the wrist rest that comes with it is great. But while sufficient it lacks the plushness of other wrist rests.
    Razer also makes foam rests and cooling gel rests. Here I use the plush foam version. its very soft and the fabric material is sturdy yet smooth feeling. I use this extra rest for more support. plus I like to keep it all Razer with my accessories...
    Razer Blackwidow Elite (Keyboard):
    amzn.to/2JwIhgX
    Razer Wrist Rest (Angled):
    amzn.to/2UATX8y
    ------------
    Glorious PC Wrist Rest:
    Glorious has a wrist rest that is plush and very nice feeling. while one of the cheapest its very good value. They make the wrist and mouse rest. Get both for the best budget set. This beats the Cooler Master rest for sure.
    Glorious PC Wrist Rest:
    amzn.to/2UELu4r
    ------------
    Kengsington Wrist Rest:
    I have had this for over 8yrs... It's amazing how well it has lasted. It Super Soft and comfortable. Its a Memory Foam or Gel (not sure) foam but awesome things is it's cheap. You can find this in any office store!

    Great video man, thank you for going in depth as to which product you like a giving a solid reason why or why not. From a listener standpoint, your music is a liiitle too distracting over your voice in this vid, I'd tone it down just a bit for future reference.
    Also, on an unrelated note, I have the same mouse and was wondering what lighting profile you got going on there. I'd love to try it out 😂

    • @DisplayReality
      @DisplayReality  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thx for your input. I have a Razer Navi Ultimate hp and I have found out since my Alienware Review (many ppl said music too loud) is that Something is wrong with how I hear the edit and how it comes out in my editing software. And the little time I have as I can't redo things as it's in 4k and that takes forever to export. Plus my editing skills are bad (LOL). I will change out my headphones this week tho. And I'll look for more calm music for voice thx so much for your input. My Razer mouse... I have just the Wave right setting in synapse 3. I have wave right for everything as I saw an awesome live wallpaper in Wallpaper engine of a Razer RGB room profile. Check it its cool.

    What do you recommend with a gmmk glorious keyboard? I don’t care about matching the actual brand, just the most comfortable. Which do you think fits the best? Hyperx still?

    • @DisplayReality
      @DisplayReality  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Glorious is a great wrist pad I said I can feel the foam maybe because I got a defective one? But since I had it and compared I could feel it over the others. I'm really sensitive to the feel/touch and picky. LoL... but the HyperX is the most coolest (in a cool way/good way too) and soft plush feeling. The Razer Cool Gel version (newest wrist pad video) is too firm for example. The HyperX wins easy. The material they use on top while delicate is very smooth and sooth glide feel on the skin.

    i have a razer huntsman tournament edition and was wondering if i should get a tkl style wrist rest, theyre pretty rare, or should i just get a regular full sized wrist rest, also razer has their own gel wrist rest, idk if that one was out when you made the video, was wondering if you had any thoughts on that one. thanks

    • @DisplayReality
      @DisplayReality  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Reason I didn't get the Razer Gel is because it looks like the regular one on my blackwidow elite but it does not have a magnetic hold. It looks angled not round/flat like the hyperX. But since I just got the huntsman gears edition I might. The Razer gel is fabric/spandex material like the HyperX so that is cool. On the tkl version.. really up to u. But you keyboard is smaller than mine so it makes sense if you want it to fit nice. If you ever change your mind you can use it as a long mouse wrist rest. My razer wrist rest is normal size but too small for when I move from left to right sometimes..

    • @z4drianz
      @z4drianz 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DisplayRealitythanks! It seems it's hard to acquire the hyperx which is what I really wanted, is there any alternatives other than the razer that you know of that are gel as well but as comfy?

    • @DisplayReality
      @DisplayReality  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was going to try Gimars (gel) or Aelfox (foam) brands both on (amazon) Not sure tho. Aelfox looks nicer and more comfy but Gimars has the gel. The reason HyperX feels so nice is because of the fabric they use. Feels nice. But if you need Gel... the Kensington feels the best with the gel feeling. As it is gel but Im not 100% Its cooling gel just reg gel since its kind of low in price but feels so soft.

  • @qirk3
    @qirk3 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Would you pick hard wrist rest for example from wood or this hyperX?

    • @DisplayReality
      @DisplayReality  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi... To be honest I would never get a wood wrist rest. I game alot and if I marathon Civ 5 it would hurt after 10hrs straight of gaming. No way. But it all depends on what you want or need. I mean for any wrist rest you need to take care of it. I was reading a while ago about someone who sweats alot... well a fabric might not be there option. Tho he should wash his palms more and play clean (he played in a hot enviroment). The HyperX is the most delicate but it is the softest and coolest due to the gel. Its cheaper than the Glorious and Razers. But they all good. If you sweat alot then the Cooler Master one is sweat resistant. But its not that soft compared to the others. But Im sure its softer than wood. Lol..

    • @prorace_type_r
      @prorace_type_r 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think he said he has the standard (only foam). The razer pro looks the same as the one that comes with the keyboard but without magnets, I think. I personally think that if you don't have the one with the magnets, the HyperX beats the Razer Pro just because is cheaper and it fits universally with every keyboard.

    • @DisplayReality
      @DisplayReality  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea.. the hyperX fits any keyboard. The Razer I have is the standard foam one. Tho I will probably get the gel ver. To try eventually because I want to have everything Razer for looks.

    The Razer Blackwidow Elite Wrist Rest is glued, very poor quality, gets ripped quickly.
