    It's weird watching these old episodes when they haven't figured out the format of the shiny questions yet. Like with the Hear Me Roar question, it's so obvious that the contestants should buzz in for each individual roar. The idea that one person buzzes in to be able to attempt the question is just so obviously a flawed system.

    Um Actually Tieflings are not descended from demons, they are descended from devils. Demons are chaotic and monstrous and live in The Abyss, whereas devils are a lawful evil, and they live in the 9 Hells. The text of the book specifically says that they get features from their Infernal descent, referring to devils, rather than abyssal heritage which would be referring to demons.

    • @noahsalvio9649
      @noahsalvio9649 4 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      Literally came into the comics to say this.
      Also, to add to that, they're not technically "descended" from anything other than human, it's just that those humans made pacts with devil's to imbue their bloodlines with infernal power, so it's heavily implied that tieflings lack any sort of devil ancestor.

    • @ashleyhoughton8592

    3:33 Um, technically, in The Lord of the Rings universe specifically Elves and Dwarves hated each other because of the sack of Doriath, which happened in the First Age (6 thousand + years before TLotR) and where a bunch of Elves and Dwarves killed each other over a Silmaril. Most other fantasy universes just copied the concept of Dwarves and Elves hating each other from Tolkien, but "forgot" to give it a reason like Tolkien did. So, yes, that does happen in most universes, but technically it is given a reason in Tolkien's mythos.
