I'm pretty sure Deoxys' shiny is like that because of it being the DNA pokemon. Typically in illustration models of DNA the base pairs are depicted as being red and blue pairing with each other and yellow and green pairing. So since they used red and blue for the original, they used yellow and green for the shiny, which I think is super neat and clever.
Figured it'd either be Giratina or Big Ray taking the top spots. Both are absolute bangers. That Shiny Mega Ray is just the business, but it's hard to get rid of regular Mega Ray because it's so clean cut. Giratina is worth going to hell over if it's gonna be scooting around all Shiny like that though. He looked like a badass always, now he looks like a total badass with unmatched rizz and jewels.
Zekrom in top 3/top 5 is EXTREMELY surprising especially when many people don't pay attention to it's turbo charge, but so glad the turbocharge with the green electricity and blue eyes is what makes Zekrom's shiny so good
My love for Kyogre comes from the opening game animation. Imagine a trainer alone in the vast ocean and that deadly shadow under the water with those glowing red eyes and marks just screams why the ocean is so frightening.... and.... so exciting.
I have a special place in my heart for shiny Raikou. I was never a shiny hunter, but as I was trying to catch all the legendaries in Ultra Sun I came across a Raikou. I always save in front of them in case I fail to catch them, my 3DS died mid battle with it and when I started the battle again it was shiny. That moment is how I got into shiny hunting.

I totally agree black reshiram and white zekrom would have been really cool, would've made it so if they weren't shiny locked you could actually catch the white pokemon in white and the black pokemon in black as well. However this video taught me that reshiram has purple flames and zekroms got green lightning, and I'm okay with them now.

There is nothing else like that inverted colour scheme from Giratina, the only other shiny that dares to attempt the same thing is Mega Gengar because it only works on Pokemon that you have to take seriously.

I have a soft spot for shiny Terrakion, I got a shiny one after my second encounter with it in Black 2. My first encounter I knocked it out by accident and the second reset was shiny. Still not a good shiny design but I enjoy the story of finding the shiny.

Shiny Ho-oh is my favorite shiny legendary. The gold with silver accents suit the design really well. Plus, I’m a sucker for yellow and gold shinies.
