mr1upz has a crack at ranking every legendary Pokemon. All 63 legendary Pokemon ranked, every poster boy or action replay accessible only Legendary Pokemon Tier List. Well, all 63 known at the time legendaries ranked every since Scarlet and Violet and the eventual new DLC Legendary Pokemon. I'll get around to ranking the new legendary pokemon in due time. Alternatively, Regidrago might mean that Regigigas tore the head off of an ancient dragon. And that is just metal enough to rate.

I love regigigas and this theory sounds metal as fuck, so it is now part of my head canon
This just gives me more reasons to have regigigas as one of my favorites.
Maybe he ripped off the unova dragon's head and took it to galar and made regidrago and the rest of the dragon got split up into three parts resulting into the formation of the tao trio(reshiram, zekrom and kyurem)

Rayquaza really is a menace compared to most other legendaries. Bro is able to put 2 terraforming kaijus in line just by existing.
The story behind lugia and how the creator died and didn’t get justice for lugia is always close to my heart. Lugia is above S tier in my book🤘

Heatran is the only Pokemon I've ever seen the "legendary" descriptor on and struggled to believe it. Its design just looks so un-legendary. Combine that with the fact that it can be either gender, and I suspect that it was just a regular Pokemon that Gamefreak made into a legendary in a hurry for some reason.
And then there's Rotom, which was weirdly treated like a legend in its debut generation (even having the legendary theme when you fight it and an event item to access its other forms), before getting tossed aside the next generation and eventually shoved into gadgets for everyday use.
For me it was every one of the 600 base stat total mythicals.
Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Victini, and those ones just dont feel "legendary" at all to me. Although it really depends on what you see as legendary. For me, the pseudo legendaries look much more powerful and, well, legendary than some elemental babies.
Also the kanto legendary birds look like normal pokemon, and I even think they should've been normal pokemon. Their galarain forms look a lot better, but just the fact that they even have galarian forms gives more weight to the idea that these pokemon should've been just rare pokemon, not legendary.
All of this is my opinion, and if you like any of the elemental babies, as I like to call them, then it's all good, pokemon is a game where there are more than 900 different characters, so there are sure to be some you like, and some you dont, that's just natural.

@@elijahmena2907 To be fair though, there is no such thing as "mythical" pokemon. That is a fan made term, so officially, at least, these are known as "event legendaries" since they function pretty much identical to legendaries except the way you get them, the only big difference is that mythical pokemon usually dont have a big impact on the story like legendaries do.
@@babywizard9027 You have it backwards. Mythical Pokemon have always been a distinct group in Japan (where they are called "Illusory" or "Phantom" pokemon). There was no distinct term for them used in non-Japanese media until Gen V, so fans created the "event legendary" term. Nowadays mythicals and legendaries are officially separate groups regardless of region.

Big Ray is no doubt the best legendary (nostalgia of climbing his crumbling tower as a kid aside) he's just a good boi noodle that protects the planet from whale and dinosaur gods having a good ol world ending bar fight and meteor hitchhiking aliens...easily a triple S tier legendary, and that's not even taking his banger shiny form into account.

I agree that most of the low list earned their spots but Kyogre though. My mans doesn’t understand how deadly orcas really are. These the boys that give sharks ptsd. They throw sea lions in the sky just for fun. They eat moose. How tf is a moose a regular part of their diet. An orca was the perfect animal to base Kyogre on. Kyogre’s easily top 10 alongside Groudon and Rayquaza. That was a solid trio of legends

From personal experience Kyogre is my favorite imagine going into the champion with only Kyogre left no revives at all beating Steven first try btw God bless hoenn or however you spell it
My first pokemon game was alpha sapphire and I immediately fell in love with kyogre when I caught him... his primordial rain is amazing combined with his origin pulse that has 120 power and 100 percent accuracy that will fuck anything up. I think hoenn was an extremely solid trio of legends. I just bought ruby to catch groudon.
Kyogre is my favorite legendary. I love the water, and he seems like a chill legendary, but fights when he has to. His design is incredible in my opinion. Orca fits

Edit: I was only counting legendaries, not mythicals like the video. If I counted mythicals Darkrai would share a top spot for sure.

Regigigas should still technically be the big daddy. On the official website for the S&S DLC the page of Regidrago states that Regigigas was actually building a full dragon, but ran out of materials so he just gave up at the head.

I already know Regigigas is gonna be low but i don't care: I've always liked the Pokemon and it's lore, being the titan of the golems and possibly this ancient creature that could pull continents and the fact it has Slow Start as an ability first that lore since you catch it right when it awakens and isn't at full power. i honestly think it's a cool Pokemon. not to mention the minor role in the Giratina movie was pretty cool.
Yeah but if that's the case they should have had something like an item that made into Regigigas - Released or something along that line. I can understand restricting Slaking for balance but Regigigas? It's a legendary. If anything should be breaking balance then it should be legendaries. Plus it's a leader boss class pokemon like Lugia, Ho-oh and Arceus, you'd expect it to be far better than its subordinates.
Regigigas is my absolute favourite legendary: to the point that I spent many hours shiny hunting him in ORAS, there’s something about the mechanical but overgrown aesthetic that is pleasing to look at.
He maybe terrible in comparison to his regi-children (especially registeel) but that don’t matter because he a beautiful boy.

One of the biggest trolls ever in the Pokemon series is asking you to collect three legendaries from the previous generation, port them over to the DS, just to unlock a visually cool, but absolutely awful, legendary golem. Someone over at GameFreak must really hate Regigigas for some reason

It's even worse in Platinum, because you need an event Regigigas to unlock the Regis that are needed to get the Regigigas that's already in the game.

Palkia has the most important role out of all of them, it makes sure that the concepts in the universes don’t get obliterated and it all gets wiped out. If you ask Palkia to hold it’s breath for a minute, the next time it takes a breath it’s to rebuild the universes. If time didn’t exist, Palkia could still make the universe work because it is the reason why it functions, dialga is just the progressions in different ways. Giratina is just there for balance and to control the physics and matter/anti matter so creation doesn’t get wiped out by the imbalance of those concepts.
I don’t even want to go deep into it, but Palkia is my favorite, and everyone shits on it without reason
I may be wrong but isn't giratina's role to represents the opposite of Dialga and Palkia since the Distortion world is the opposite of the universe's that Dialga and Palkia create
Palkia is not the reason the universe functions, it is the reason the concept of space functions. The planes of the universe, it’s dimensions. A very important job, but the universe will not function without the concept of time. An example being that movement is not possible without time to go from one part of space to another. Another example, you mentioned Palkia holding its breath for one minute. How would it hold its breath for one minute without the concept of time existing? And if that’s not enough, how would the creation, destruction and new creation of a universe happen without the concept of time?
Palkia is a boss, but let’s not downplay my role here. It is only together that we make the universe function. If either Time or Space ceases to exist, the universe ends.

Its like both dialga and palkia controll space but dialga controls the velocity of the movements and palkia controls the structure

The only one I don't agree is Kyurem. I mean, despite it not trying to get complete again, it is implied that it literally goes full Attack on Titan on Lacunosa Town, so much so that it single handedly was the motive for the people to build a wall around town and never ever come out at night.

I thrashed Pearl (and Diamond when my bro was done with it for a while) so I explored everywhere on it and when I found Giratina in my first playthrough, it scared me shitless, it thrashed my whole team haha.
Same with Rayquaza, I was the first out of my friends to find it's crib, realised you couldn't catch it until you went back, but my frieds couldn't progress in the game until I told them how.
My friend found the regis tablet, remembered he got a sheet of braille with something he bought, then we went about finding the regis. Was so fun at the time.
