Intrusions - Cypher System’s Secret Ingredient

- OK, it’s not actually “secret,” but I’ve found intrusions to be of the most fun aspects of a Cypher System Game.
I mention Godforsaken and the Dragonbane Bestiary in my “coming up” segment, I received both of these as review copies.

GM and player intrusions are probably my favorite mechanic in Cypher System. I love how narrative control is so easily passed between the GM and players seamlessly without totally ruining the experience for either side of the table.. Great video keep the Cypher love coming.

Intrusions are what got me more into being co-creative with the players during gameplay.
So much that I went co-creative with my players and in return they too have come to like co-creation in all of our '4D' liveplays with all systems.

@sTTRPG Hey if you are interested in what we do (tonight I'm broadcasting our 4D game of Fear City in an hour) check it out, note that we do not use out-of-character talk in our games and we have a way of asking the GM questions through character interactions only, and we can create (as players) within the context of our setting (1975 Gangsters in New York).

Man this is great so helpful to have this type of collab storytelling built into the system. A list of possible intrusions is a great idea!
Dan, have you used any Cypher System games at all?
Only no thank you evil if you count that haha. I'd really love to try it out gotta add it to the list of possible streamed games! It's the only time I gave a chance to play lol
