I think the decision to be just survival instead of hardcore definitely has some advantages like being able to play riskier and opens possibilities in the game

Just finished watching. Great video! I wanted to say yes horses can swim with a rider irl. They don't swim great though so put into minecraft perspective with the weight of an armored rider and saddle it would be a challenge.
Also I used to carry scaffolding (especially early game before getting iron for a water bucket) if my horse fell in ravine I can place and have them jump straight up.
Also use a brush on the armadillos to make armour for dogs if you get them.

I really haven't played for a year but when I did a few weeks ago I couldn't get the horse to click in boat like it used to. I used to always carry a boat and keep my horse in it when I wasn't riding but I can't seem to do that now. Might just be me though. Also great idea for the furnaces!
