It's funny you should mention how interesting it would be to have some insight on their album creation process 😅 They actually documented their process of making the BE album through videos and livestreams here on TH-cam. There's a playlist on their official channel (BangtanTV) called "Log (ON)" that contains these videos. Unfortunately, the videos in the playlist aren't in order, but they do show a bit of how they came up with the concept for the album, the ways in which they practice, meetings about concept photos and the music video, etc. Of course they couldn't show us everything, but it was more than they had ever shown us before. It was another way they tried to stay in touch with ARMY during 2020 💜

24:56 joon is really an amazing human being..they all are..but like how do i explain..in Jackson's words (member of k-pop group GOT7/ RM's friend) once said, " i knew rapmon since my trainee days. he's someone with a sense of responsibility. he will insist on doing his own music regardless of what others think.” He once said in an interview that him & RM are two very different people. He explained, "I goof off often, and I joke around. I’m more aggressive. RM is pretty calm, and he is very smart. He doesn’t talk too much, but whatever he says, it just feels right. He’s like the conclusion to me.” I think Jackson described joon perfectly, *"Whatever he says, it just feels right,"* is spot on about RM.. Jackson Wang is an amazing human being and Gentleman himself btw..i love him.. even tho RM is not my “bias” in BTS as we say😂 (he is my ultimate bias-wreaker tho) he is an artist I admire the most..like I really really really love to hear what he wants to say..he is known as “philosopher who raps" & "president Namjoon".. there's a reason for that ofc😁 he is so well articulate & is the reason why BTS even exist..best leader..i really love & admire him! ✨🛐

From what I remember the Purple Ribbon project was exactly as you said when they were traveling to America. This was a long time ago so forgive me if I forget bits but the idea was, when they were first coming to the US for awards shows and such since America can have issues with paps mobbing them and not respecting boundaries, to show BTS that we were there and we were supporting them while controlling the chaos. I think it was ultimately disbanded because the creators (from what I remember) realized it was causing/encouraging people to come to the airport for BTS and create more chaos and craziness when the goal was the opposite. Again, I could be missing parts since this was around 2017/2018 but from what I can remember that was the deal with the purple ribbon project.
Ok interesting. I will be for sure looking more into this in the future. The airport issue is bad sometimes. Like I did notice that S.korea was pretty tame but as soon as he came to NYC it was kinda free for all. That's what I hate. No organization and in the end causing a dangerous situation.

Google translate can be notoriously wrong. Sometimes causing chaos as International ARMYs are trying to figure it out. Thank goodness for translate-ARMYs.
Purple Ribbon project was done in 2018. It was to allow a wide passage for members and their team to get through the airport. ARMYs would respect the ribbon and not go past it. Unfortunately, lately fans have pushed their way through and have tried to even push the security in an attempt to get pictures or tough the members. Veteran ARMYs have been speaking out and trying to educate newer (we assume) ARMYs that we do not do this.
Anyone who is interested in learning how to pronounce Bangtan Seonyeondan (방탄소년단), Jungkook (정국), Jimin (지민), the other members name and the variety of Korean words we see and use --hyung (형), daesang (대상)--I recommend spending a few hours learning Hangul (한글)--the Korean writing system. King Sejong created Hangul in 1446 to be a simple logical system that would be easy to teach so even the peasants could be literate. There are 14 consonants and 10 base vowels. Each letter has one sound, unlike English with though, through, trough, thought, etc.
Each block of letters is a syllable.
Bangtan Seonyeondan (방탄소년단).
방 (bang) 탄 (tan) 소 (seo) 년 (nyeon) 단 (dan)
Jimin: Ji (지) Min (민) Jungkook: Jung (정) Kook (국)
Hyundai (the car maker): hyun (현) day (대) (Most english speakers I know say 3 syllables: hy-un-day).

I love going down memory lane with you. Another great intro video is the one made by Ida S. - called An Introduction to the 7 Members of BTS. It was the first one I watched when I discovered them during the Butter Era, and it set the tone for me as far as my knowledge of each of them. Then I proceeded to watch this one with xCeleste, then Rice Squad’s and Taylor’s. You’ve seen the others, but each one just gives a new perspective. Hope you will also watch Ida S’s video. I’ve been enjoying your channel.

There is a 10 - 15 minute version on YT but the original (as far as I've been able to find it) is only available on another site. The show is called 'Good Insight'. There are several videos of Bang PD you can find on YT. This excerpt, in particular, is from a talk he gave in 2018. Korean entertainment companies were amazed at BTS' conquering the US. (They had won awards at both the BBMAs and the AMAs in 2017. Something no Kpop group had ever done.)
Suddenly, Bang Si-Hyuk was hotly sought after as they scrambled to try to figure out what he did differently that allowed BTS to come to be. The BTS rap line kinda touches on this in Ddaeng.

The purple ribbon project photo that you see was at LAX. BTS -up until about 2018 flew commercial airlines. They were increasingly being mobbed. Tae was even chased through Inchon airport by over zealous fans. That's why ARMYs got together and initiated a project that guaranteed the boys safe passage. To be fair most of the mob was from paparazzi and sasangs. (Sasangs are not just obsessed fans. they make a living by selling personal info on celebrities. They were buying tickets on the same flights as BTS where they constantly tried to invade their privacy.). Since 2018, BTS has used private airplanes.
Only now, when the boys are traveling separately for their many projects are they being mobbed at airports again.
The worst mobbing incident I ever saw was when Jin appeared on Law of the jungle... (a reality show of celebs in a jungle somewhere in SE Asia). I guess the producers had no idea of Jin's drawing power. It was crazy- with no real security. Not only was he dangerously mobbed while trying to reach the boat. He told people later that someone had discovered the shooting location and boats of sightseers started showing up. Mind you, Jin had to take a flight, drive 2 hours to where he boarded the boat, later changing to a smaller boat. It was an ordeal lasting many hours to get to location. Fans started showing up on the 2nd day after he arrived.

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but...at their last live concert which was in Busan, they performed in front of 100,000 people....for free. That's right...free, no cost. And the city of Busan supposedly didn't have the money to host it so BTS and HYBE had to pay to put it on. Imagine though....free.
Oh...and another 50 million people (including me) streamed it free online...at least we tried to....the website wasn't able to handle the traffic and was frozen most of the time....but it was great anyway.

Loved this vid. When I was a baby Army, I remember watching xCeleste's vids & The Rise of Bangtan. They were all of great help to me. Remember to take your time, it is the deepest rabbit hole you've ever gone down. It will overwhelm you at times too. Remember this is your journey & take that journey however you want to do it. We will watch, guide & continue to support anyone that genuinely has an interest in learning all about BTS. Try not to let anyone that makes negative comments get to you. Along with that one negative comment there will be tons of positive ones that will overshadow the negative. I have a recommendation: wait to watch the MMA & MaMa performances until you really, really know the guys & music. You will appreciate the performances way more than if you watched without knowing them. But, you do you. If you want to watch them sooner, that's cool. You may want to watch them again after you have been with us for a while & then see the difference in how you 'see' the performances. I'm rambling lol. Enjoy your journey. Thank you for the video. I’m not sure if someone else already gave you the answer or not, but regarding the purple ribbon project, it was started to protect the members. But as the fandom grew too big, Bighit made an announcement for fans to not come to airports for safety reasons. That’s why the project was cancelled.

@@MasterGo89 The Philippines have over 170 dialects but our main is Tagalog. However, almost 90% of Filipinos know how to speak English so we mostly mixed it when we speak. Hence, we called it TAGLISH. :) It is actually even harder to speak "all tagalog" for most of us.

This chapter is 2019 and after so it's real special to me. This is my army year(2019). They made this so cool. U can actually watch each video in order due to the QR codes. U can totally go on a special journey with this book. And i love the album info pages. I am in the process of marking them off to revisit in the near future.

Try to get Proof its their anthology album, 3 CDs, photobook, lyric book, and photo cards PCs. Those are collectables. They put so much thought into their albums. That is why we buy them. We collect them to support the band. Many army buy albums and don't have CD players. So they buy CD players. Yes, it's a thing. BTS are humble and super talented yep, yep. Pls watch Life Goes On(LGO). It is a lovely song. JK filmed it. =0] In 2019 I found out my mom had breast cancer. She was dying in front of my eyes with no treatment. I am a cancer survivor and this was very painful for me. I am an artist and former art teacher. I deal with anxiety and depression since my youth. Sadly, the mental health struggle let me to loose my art for many years. It was like i lost part of my soul. I have been trying to find it again but nothing lasted for long. When BTS found me I really did not know how much I needed them and army. They gave me back my art! They gave me stress relief and strength to fight for my mom's life. These days I have a small business on twt selling my BTS fan art sculptures. Go figure. My mom is getting treatment and is doing better physically but not so great mentally. Rm told that Bts doesn't mean beyond the scene. He said that army are so creative, but it's no true.
Pretty sure he said it didn't mean "behind the scenes" but it's in their official book titled "beyond the story", beyond the scene I mean, so I think it's just the 1st word he objected too. I was also super confused by this at 1st, ARMYs told me I was mistaken, but it wasn't until I read the new book that I accepted it lol. I thought I knew everything about their origins and story, but man did that book really open my eyes! It's amazing. I'm about 3/4 finished, and I'll probably read it again lol! borahae 💜 😊

hi, I've been meaning to ask and dont take this the wrong way. why is there a need to mention the views of the video you are reacting to? like what's the point? Some channels, they just mention it in their first reactions since they are amazed how much views bts gets but they stop eventually. I think you're the only one who does this all the time. Again, just asking.
So I come back to what's the point I do anything? Lol what's the point of making these videos when everyone makes reactions, it's just because it's my style. I like to express the mass amount of people enjoying the videos and how popular these videos are. Sure being new could do it for the first few videos. But I'm proud of this community and I LOVE the support :).
