- The Gallardo was a game changer for Lamborghini when it was released. It is the top selling Lamborghini in the history of the brand. Under the engine hatch is a 5.2L V10 that is pumping out 552HP & mated to a 6-speed transmission. The exterior of the Gallardo was refreshed for 2013. It includes a new front fascia, and wheels. On the inside you will find fine leather materials and a classic Italian super car layout. Is this Lamborghini Gallardo the BEST used super car you can BUY?

I totally agree. Despite being the father of the current huracan it is also one of the best sounding cars ever made.
@@CoolGuy-ux5wx I totally agree. The R8 and Lambo share the same engine and it sounds great. I still prefer the sound of Lexus LFA as my all time favorite engine sound, but lambo engine sound comes close to it.

I would love to drive one... But to own one... Probably not. Too much attention and it would stay in the garage all the time. Then again... If I had $200k to spend on a car then I probably wouldn't care about being afraid of letting her see some rain or dirt.

Do you know how to fix that horrible low TQ. ? Put a 68mm turbo on it. I have a ‘13 twin turbo and it’s a HUGE difference. Love the Galardo! Best driver friendly Lambo made.

It sounds good. However, best sounding super car, without even a close rival, is the Lexus LFA. Once you hear the LFA, everything you counted, will start bugging you.

The F-Type V8's 140dBA roar DEVASTATES the LFA's 95 dBA dentist drill. And the LFA costs $1500 per ft lb of torque, thats why it needs 10K to roll foward. The F-Type R costs $190 per foot lb, and has 50% more torque than the heavy and slow AF LFA.
Langolier I agree the LFA has a great sound. You really have to work it through to the top end of the rev range.

I almost bought something similar a couple years ago. What prevented me though was the maintenance costs. Lamborghini, according to my research at the time, was very expensive for upkeep. It just wasn't worth it to me.
If you can afford the car, you should be able to afford the maintenance. Can’t be broke trying to buy one.

The gen 1 r8 is basically the gallardo just chaeper,more practical,more reliable and cheaper to maintain BUT no one is gonna look at you with a r8 the way a lambo can

I actually prefer the pre LP front but the LP rear, not a fan of the final edition but I take any Gallardo over Hurrucan.
Gallardo's were so common I'm surprised they didn't sell kits to make them look like a Corvette.
My friend had 2.. a orange one and yellow one.. he did sell the orange one and bought a 2018 Lamborghini Huracán
