My first gold purchase was a 1 oz gold buffalo and i love it but that price is hard to save without seeing any gold in the meantime. I ordered a 1/10 oz gold eagle this morning and for your average person this is the way to go. $250 is a good price and you get to see your gold stack regularly.
Great info!! Nothing wrong with buying what you can buy when you can buy it. As long as you are buying it. Stacking is the best way for me to save, I was never a big saver until I started. Thank you for a Wonderful video 😊
I bought 30 of these to barter with recently. They are beautiful coins. If gold takes off, they will be easier to get rid of than a full oz. Downside is that you pay more in premiums. I mainly stack silver.
Slow and steady grows the gold stacking. I'm a 1/10 oz gold purchaser. Usually the Liberty but I will grab a maple here and there if the price is right. Thanks for the video.
Fractional coins are something that you either sell to the public for cash or trade for something else of value; I am sure that I could trade gold for the latest Pixel 9 Pro using the Facebook marketplace (I'm not sure the same goes for silver!). Doing business with a coin dealer is always going to be a raw deal.
Haven't bought any 10th's yet but you might have just flung a'craving on me. I will continue watching your channel. From a Louisiana neighbor.. Keep on Stackin'
I got my capital holders and I'm trying to get all 36 Type 1's. Got a ways to go but I set a goal to get them all by the end of next year. Really like the 1/10oz gold AGE's. Yeah 1/10 is probably as little as you wanna go unless you get maybe a Dos Pesos. The smaller the coin, the higher the premium usually. Best to get as big a coin as you can afford. Thanks for sharing your AGE's.
That's a good video. I will probably look a little more into the1/10 oz coins now that you've laid it out the way you did in the video, thank you! keep up the good work
Just found your channel and subscribed. Will continue watching future videos. Look forward to growing my stack along with you and your channel growth ahead. Keep up good work.
I strongly prefer the old reverse. Personally, I would rather do Sovereigns. They have lower premiums and their are more designs to collect. What I really want to find are some fractional buffalos.
Ya know, my mom always told me that money is like water in my hands. I don't make a lot, so when I can muster a couple hundred fiat and quickly exchange it for gold (little ones are all I can muster at a time) or silver I can save. I peck away at fiat, but PM take a little effort. Love my little ones, all shiney and gold. My most fav...3017 American Liberty. Yup, got her in 1/10 also. Mail is here, my recent 1/10 oz has arrived, SDBullion, they offer military discount too peeps.
Thanks for the comment. Yea working on a tube of 1/10 Oz gold eagles . Hopefully one day can afford to buy 1oz every month or so. Have you subscribed to the channel yet?
@@mississippimetals5784 I just did, I enjoyed your thoughts, more along my kind of purchases. Trying to get my metals somewhat balanced. Buying that full oz, ouch. I did manage to get one some time ago, but I was really going without to do it, a lot.
Im planning on owning 20 of these gold american eagle 1/10th of an oz coins and 10 2.5 gram to 5 gram bars by end of next year, but I think the American gold eagle is about 3.2 grams. I buy Morgan dollars, 100 gram and 5 oz silvers and 1 gram thru 5 gram gold bars and 1/10th oz gold eagles as a secondary savings and as an insurance savings, and I use cash for savings.
I like how you think, i feel similar in that what would you do in a barter situation with a kilo of silver, you gonna get shot shaving a piece off. I don't want people to think i got anything. Im getting distracted with collecting dates and focusing on collecting key dates. It's weird how the numismatic value of coins has gone up vs bullion. In a barter situation i don't think anyone will care about the rarity of a coin at that point if or when we get there. So this video told me to stay focused on the goal. Gold/silver, bullets, beans, and guns. P.s. fishing gear. Im in south carolina. I did get a tube of 20 Benjamin 50 cent pieces for 300 they are au or better. And they have alot of mint marks. I cage
New subscriber here, thank you for the video. I love the 1/10 oz gold, is very affordable for average person. 😂 btw check your math it was wrong 220-194.70=25.30😅
I’m all over the place. I’ll buy 50 gram bars one day and 1/2 eagles the next . But mostly stick with bars because if you have to unload in a hurry, most places only pay gold content. So I come out better with bars. But I don’t buy gold as an investment. It’s not great for investment. Gold won’t make you rich, but it’ll definitely keep you from going poor. So I see it as a store of value. I take profits from other investments into gold. 😎
I love coins, but I buy bars. Cheaper. If you go to sell, they’ll just want to pay gold content anyways. Also, on your math, that’s +$10 per ounce, so in on a 1/10th oz, that’s one dollar.
1/10 oz gold eagle tubes hold 50 coins for 5 ounces ..... 1/10 oz gold philharmonic tubes hold 20 coins, and the 1/10 oz gold Britanias hold 25 coins... It might take you a minute or two to fill the American gold eagle 1/10 oz tube...

Great point on the price of gold going up while saving for the 1 oz.

Always have a little stack of gold ,just in case ,no problem with those little gems ,😉
The hold eagles are beautiful. Thanks for explaining the differences in each coin.

Read the fine print. For gold eagles it must be 10 ozs, silver eagles its 500 ozs to get that price. Stay safe and God bless.
good point. thanks for watching 😄
It’s not a peso, it’s a Mexican Libertad.

obviously you love bars, not coins, as that is what you buy
Lol I literally just purchased a 1/10th oz gold Eagle from Hero Bullion!

1/10 is perfect for bartering if the economy goes bad
I thought a tube of 1/10 are 50

I also get the 1/10 oz gold
yea its an affordable way to buy gold on a budget. thanks for watching 😄
Bro did you just call a libertad a peso lol
How much is it worth today
Probably 256$
❤🎉ppl
2 years ago for 250 lol so you still havent broke even on them
The premium on 1/10s is ridiculous! Bad buy because they are way overpriced.
I usually pay about $215 per coin. that's not too bad in my opinion. thanks for watching 😄
