I visited Bisbee in 1982 when I was stationed at Fort Huachuca. Several of us went to attend the Bisbee Renaissance Festival. We stayed at the Copper Queen for two nights and it was a very nice place to stay compared to more modern placed we stayed in Tucson. It was an interesting hotel and Bisbee was a complicated place to get around in 1982. One of the best things we did was tour the Cooper Queen Mine. It l now looks like Bisbee has many more stores and restaurants than back then.
This was something else, I didn't know Bisbee was so large. Totally unique houses built up off the road, so cool. I would get lost. Are you going back, I would like to see more. Thanks for sharing your trip to Bisbee!!!
Holy Cow Dave, We loved this! We visited Bisbee in 2016 while traveling the Country and I remember how anxious driving and walking throughout that town made me. You nailed it, it's very strange & chaotic. Also, driving to the top of Bisbee brings you onto some very narrow & steep roads with no shoulders & no guardrails exposing you to the sheer cliff edges that wind through the mountaintop. What an amazing & fascinating history tour you provided. We truly appreciate this video and the talent of your guide, Joey... Thank you, So Much!
This is the Best bisbee video I've seen so far ! As a 45 yr resident, I've walked every stairway n street so many times! .... and filming from the Jeep tour was a great idea, and your descriptions were😂.
Bisbee is my absolute fav place to be. When I was in AZ I would make trips down there as much as I could. Of course visiting the Bird Cage on my way. Want to retire there Great video man.
We love Bisbee, almost as much as Tombstone. Old West history with a Bohemian flair. First time there made the mistake of driving up into the neighborhoods in my Ram pickup. NEVER AGAIN! 😮
So for fun I looked up and started reading more about Emma LeDoux and seen that her grave is actually in the city of Bakersfield where I live, my kids and I go to the cemetery where she is often to look at the pioneer and city founder graves so next time we go I'll see if I can find it. (edit) also just watched the last 15 seconds or so about his Bakersfield comment.... fair enough hahaha
@@Desert.Sky.Adventures excellent! We are up in Payson. Riding are Harleys down there to your town in April and then staying in Bisbee. Thanks for all the great videos! Warren
A fascinating tour. Once popular with Hippies it gravitated into a WOKE - ish town. If you lived in this town awhile you would know why Tombstone is appreciated by some. Prices for a small concrete home alongside a set of concrete stairs in the early 1980's started at $25,000.

Just got one today as a matter of fact.

if i drive up there to Bisbee and get a hotel is there a place to park my Honda Car?
Yes but you’ll have to look around.
We never have trouble finding a place to park when we drive down from Phoenix.
❤
Such great information!!! But terrible audio😢
That’s reality sometimes.
Sorry, I apologize- didn’t mean to be so negative. Keep up the great work.
No problem. Thanks. 👍
Bad audio for tour. Guide needs a better mike. Bisbee is a wonderful
Western town but your tour info was too quirky and rambling. Like Bisbee. lol
The wind was pretty bad that day. Sometimes it happens.
Good info from Joe, the tour guide, though! I've been there 20+ times and still learned a lot!
