DFCC එකට අද ගියා, MSEM කියලා ලොන් දෙනවා කියලා, ඉඩමක් තියන්න 70%ක් වටිනාකමෙන් දෙන්නන් කිව්වා. එහෙම තියන්න ඉඩම් තියේ නම් බැංකුවකට යන්න ඕනද. උපදින කොටම කෝටි ගණන් දේපල තියෙන තැනක උපදින්න ඕන නැත්තම් කිසි දෙයක් කර ගන්න බෑ මේ රටේ
ඔන්න මගේ අසල්වැසි කෙනෙක් ඇවිත් මගෙන් Rs 1000 ක් ණයට ඉල්ලනවා. එතකොට මම එයාගෙන් අහනවා සල්ලි මොකටද කියලා. එයා කියනවා, එයාගේ බබා කිරි ඉල්ලලා අඬනවා කියලා, කිරි පිටි පැකට් එකක් ගන්න ණයට සල්ලි ඉල්ලුවේ කියලා. දවස් 10න් විතර ආයෙත් ණය පියවන්නම් කියලත් කියනවා. ඔන්න දැන් මම එයාට කියනවා, ඔයා ගන්න හදන රු 1000 කිරි පිටි පැකට් එක මම අරන් ඔයාට රු 1200 ට විකුනන්නම්, ඔයා මට දවසට රු 50 ගානේ දවස් 24 ගෙවන්න කියලා..
මානුෂීයව හිතලා ණයක් දෙන්න කියලා කියන ඉස්ලාම් දහමේ, මෙහෙම කරන්න අනුමැතිය තියෙනවා ද??
මෙය කෙනෙක්ගේ දුකෙන් අමාරුකමින් ලාභ ඉපයීමක් නෙවෙයි ද??

පොලිය සම්බන්ධ නැති, ඉස්ලාම් අනුමත නොකරන කිසිම අංගයක් අඩංගු නැති ඕනෑම ව්‍යාපාරයක් කිරීමට අනුමැතිය තියෙනවා..
ඉස්ලාම් දහම පොලිය පිළිබඳව ඉතාම සරළ අර්ථකථනයක් ලබාදෙනවා.
"මම ඔබෙන් රු 10000 ක් ණයට ගන්නවා. එම මුදල නැවත පියවීමට මම මාසයක කාලයක් ගන්නවා. ණය පියවීමට මම ලබාගන්නා අමතර කාලය වෙනුවෙන් ඔබ මගෙන් ලබාගන්නා අමතර මුදල පොලිය වෙනවා..
ණයට භාණ්ඩයක් විකිණීමේදී, ව්‍යාපාරයකදී මේ හා සමාන සංකල්පයක් අඩංගු වේ නම්, එය කුමන නමකින් තිබුනත් එය පොලිය හා සම්බන්ධ ව්‍යාපාරයක් වෙනවා .
මෙතනදී පවා මේ බැංකුවෙන් සිදුකරන්නේ ඒ හා සමාන දෙයක්. මගේ අතේ මුදල් තිබුණහොත් රු 100,000/= ට ගන්න පුළුවන් දුරකථනයක්‌, එකවර මුදල් ගෙවිය නොහැකි හේතුව නිසා , සම්පූර්ණ මුදල පියවීමට අමතර මාස ගණනක් ගතවෙන නිසා, මට අමතර රු 20,000/= ක් ගෙවන්නට සිදුවෙනවා.. ඒ 20,000 මම ණය පියවීමට ගත් අමතර කාලයට, ඔවුන් මගෙන් අයකරගන්නා අමතර මුදලයි. ඉස්ලාම් දහමට අනුව එය පොලියයි.
මමත් පොඩියට ව්‍යාපාරයක් කරන කෙනෙක්.. මම විකුණන භාණ්ඩය මට කැමති මිලකට විකුනන්න පුළුවන්. ඒකෙ කිසිම තර්කයක් නැහැ.
මම කැමති කෙනෙකුට, ගත් මුදලටම විකුනන්නත් පුළුවන්,
මම කැමති කෙනෙකුට, 10%, 20%, 50% හෝ කැමති ගානක් ලාබ තබාගෙන විකුනන්න පුළුවන්.
මම කැමති කෙනෙකුට, තොග මිලට විකුනන්න පුළුවන්. ඒක භාණ්ඩයේ අයිතිකාරයාගේ කැමැත්ත.
එහෙත් මෙහෙම දෙයක් තියෙනවා. එක්කෙනෙක් මගෙන් භාණ්ඩ ණයට ගන්න එනවා. සතියකින් හෝ දෙකකින් ණය පියවන බව පොරොන්දුවක් මත. එයා ණයට ගන්න එකම හේතුව නිසා, මම එයාට ටිකක් වැඩි මිලකට භාණ්ඩය විකුනනවා නම්, එතනදී මම කලින් සඳහන් කරපු පොලිය නැවතත් කරලියට එනවා..

They charge depending on the jewelry value. If you get less amount or maximum amount as loan the charge is same for both.

People comment what they’ve faced dealing with the specific bank okay, so it’s people’s right to comment. You people can say lots of stuffs but considering to every situation and incidents rules and regulations differ. You people can comment ‘misunderstand, talking without substance’ but the problems have to be faced in between the bank and the people who are dealing and the people who comment opposite to our comments may be either agents of the specific bank or may talk till they face the same problem. That’s all

It's so hard to get a loan from Amana.Although there's no interest charged their commission or profit rate is the same or twice as any conventional banks interest rates. They help the rich. They will pray a price to Almighty if their way is wrong.
No one can do a business without profit. So what they should do is to make things easy for clients to access and benefit. and the profit margings and the rates should be low

What you have mentioned is 100% true. They never lend to normal people. Only rich people with good savings can obtain loans and other facilities with Amana. I know so many people who have the same negative feelings about this bank.
If profit margin and rates are low in a bank then it will impact the depositor. Its depositors money which was lent to the borrower. Any bank should balance this two sides. Due to the conceptual difference amana customer benefits more than the conventional banks
@Yaseera26 how does the conventional banks balance then. They pay a good rate of interest to the customers just as they charge. If Amanas rates are high means. Pay up yo the convention rates to the customer gor deposits. It's understood the banks profit margings are high. If it makes sense. Anyway . Getting a mortgage is not at all easy with amana.

Islamic ( Sharia ) Bank is acceptable by Muslims and practiced worldwide successfully but not the way Amana is handling, overall profits absorbed by Amana from customers are higher than the conventional banking system.

I bought share in 2014 for 30,000. One share was 7.5. Till now 250 Rs profit. I will tell everyone don't buy shares in Amana Bank. The employees in Amana Bank enjoy a lot.
This is nothing to do with the aspect of interest and profits. The return you get on your equity investment depends on how effectively and efficiently the business is managed. The point being discussed here is ' how this bank differs' from other conventional banks.

That is unlike any other quoted company AMANA has to operate within the bounds of shari'a. Hence, its opportunities to invest, public deposits are extremely limited. Thus, it is constrained in earning greater profits to pay its equity holders.

Hence, it is faced with limitations in investing its funds ( public deposits) to earn profits. Thus, the earning capacity of such shares are really limited. The shares are valued in the market based on its earning capacity therefore, the price of such shares hardly move upwards in the market. Also, as a result of limitations on earning capacity the dividend paid to the equity holders too will not look attractive overtime.
