I love this pod cast. I am really happy Darryl is going to be an official co-host. Well wishes for a safe and speedy recovery from your c-section. I had one 20 years ago. I had toximia and had my son at 30 and a half weeks. He was strong and healthy. He was 3 lbs. 1 oz. 17 inches long. Now he is 20 and 6 foot 2 inches. My sweet gentle giant. Best wishes to you and your family.

I'm in my 60's and crying has always been my release when I'm stuck in my mind. Not everyone in the "older" generation are closed off to feelings.

The way you all laugh as brother and sister about feeling bad and not being Ok is amazing. The way Daryl looks on with such admiration is just the best. I love that you have this platform to share and connect on such a special and intimate way. Having a scared place for your truth and testimony as a mum, and such loving support is really a beautiful thing. Great job 👏 team.. love to you all.

I got so numb on antidepressants that when I went off it was rough. Its been 7 years so I've learned healthy coping mechanisms but a good cry can just feel better.

Wow the dad thing got me…… cause I mean I have a dad, but he didn’t and to me doesn’t care. Doesn’t get it. Doesn’t understand how to be a good dad to us.
Always cry it out!! It’s always good to let the emotion hit you, and then pass. Everything will be ok. I’m seriously proud of Ryan talking about those feelings because it’s good to get them out so they don’t keep building. Emotions make you human 💜💜💜💜
Don’t ever ask somebody if they’re LIKED DEPRESSED OR SOMETHING!!
Ryan-Neurofeedback could be an alternative to antidepressants that you pair with talk therapy that can help calm those high highs/low lows.
A trick I learned is to use a cold wipe and wipe the low belly where the top of the diaper is before changing and they don’t pee on you! My son is 14 months now and I’ve only been peed on once 🙌🏼💃🏻 lol

During my c section they put my intestines in a bowl beside my body cause they needed more room to sew and put my uterus back.. Was a really crazy thing to hear and see pictures of later.

Also, not to be annoying, I heard that if you put a little bit of something colder on a baby boy’s belly, it’ll help them go P so that way you can kind of time out when he’s going to pee everywhere lol so while he still has the diaper on you put a wet wipe on his belly or something a little cooler and it triggers the response to go P or at least that’s what I’ve been told

8 lb and 7 lb is a pretty average size baby. I had a 13 pounder. He was A HUGE BABY.
You guys need to get the pee pee tee pee. It’s like a fabric cone you put over the baby while you’re changing him so he doesn’t pee everywhere. They are washable!
