Personally, I like what they ended up doing with Daybreaker (Day Breaker? I can't tell if it's one word or two...), because for years the idea has gone around that Celestia is a wimp; outdated and washed-up at best and just a troll at worst. This episode shows she actually suffers more from the dilemma Superman has...she COULD be overwhelmingly powerful but she's scared of her own strength and what she could do to others.
To be fair…Celestia has lost LITERALLY every duel we’ve seen when relying on her own power, which I think makes the idea of Daybreaker all the more terrifying and awesome…I almost see Daybreaker as Celesta’s “restraint level zero” “I’m no longer playing around” state…like, Celesta COULD throw the sun at you, DAYBREAKER actually *WOULD*

Even though she was merely a part of Starlight Glimmer's Bad Dreams, it was still nice to finally see an Evil-estia in the Cartoon. Although Starlight most likely didn't get the Full Story about the Nightmare Moon incident from over 1000 Years ago, because back then Luna was being influenced by the Smoky Symbiote-like creatures known as Nightmare Forces to betray her sister, and once Luna gave in to her jealousy & betrayed Celestia, the Leader of the Nightmare Forces possessed Luna thus turning her into the Evil Nightmare Moon, then Celestia had to use what little power she could muster by herself from the Elements of Harmony, to banish Nightmare Moon to the Moon for 1000 Years. I'm sure that if she knew all of that it would have had a different outcome on her dream, like having a Dream version of the Nightmare Forces take hold of a Dream Luna, turning her into a Dream Nightmare Moon, and then having them take hold of a Dream Celestia, turning her into a Dream Daybreaker(or at least something similar to her). I mean if the Nightmare Forces could make Rarity become Nightmare Rarity, then just imagine if they took over Celestia instead of Luna all those centuries ago. I know a lot of you are going to disagree with me, or criticize my comment, but that's just my speculations and I'm sticking with them!
Which according to the folks at DHX & Hasbro shouldn't be too much longer what with all the stuff they kept saying about Season 7. Plus the Nightmare Moon thing back in the Season 4 Two-Parter Premiere pretty much confirmed that Luna's transformation was done Against her will, and it was done by some Smoke-like Substance consuming her from the Outside-In, much like how Rarity was transformed into Nightmare Rarity, and how a Marvel Comics' Symbiote possesses a being by covering it with it's slimy self, so they practically already confirmed in the Cartoon that Nightmare Moon was made with some Outside Help.
If this force that possesses both of them it might be two or three different outside forces since Stygian was also in the same becoming the Pony of Shadows If Nightmare Moon and The Pony of Shadows were from the same or different Nightmare and Shadow Symbiote since Stygian's Shadow Symbiote is stronger than Nightmare Moon's with The Pony of Shadows being the MLP Version of Venom and Nightmare Moon possibly being the MLP version of Anti-Venom DayBreaker might have been from the same Nightmare Symbiote but separated itself from Nightmare Moon's Symbiote and Celestia being possessed by the Symbiote becoming DayBreaker and DayBreaker being the MLP version of Carnage since both are highly powerful and more vicious and more violent and more aggressive than their predecessor/adversary
