Secondly: because this song is based off Pegasus Device and Rainbow Factory, it should be know that Scootaloo can fly in the story except she still isn't proficient which goes against what you said about Scootaloo not being able to fly (which is the canonical status for this character's flight but not how it is presented in the story). That synth riff is, if you'll excuse the expression, so... AWESOME! For me, it evokes a feeling of an ever-advancing doom, like a heartless production line claiming life after life, without even the malice or anger that would at least ground the horror in something understandable. The true horror of a factory setting is the utter, well-oiled efficiency of the process. Also, it's just pure headbang material.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it; this song is leagues above the original rainbow factory, and that song is amazing. Basically, what is'm saying is that this song is at least 20% cooler than the original rainbow factory, if you get my joke. I also really love the reprises of two other songs I love at the end, and the last scootaloo part/the second scootaloo part has to be my favorite. The lyrics flow so well, and it doesn't sound off in that odd way rainbow factory did. And even the instrumental parts are gorgeous. I just can't find anything wrong with this song... It's been so long. I used to listen to this on repeat. I wanted inspiration for a dark rap for Halloween and remembered this gem, but after 4 years I forgot how perfect it is. And when it got to the rainbow factory and awoken references I started tearing up. It was an overwhelming flood of memories, of the fanfics, the songs, the days where I'd watch MLP with my old HighSchool friends, and most importantly being a part of a community. Now it all feels like another life ago, and this song made me feel those things again. 4 years only feels like it if you pay attention to the days, not when you leave it behind I hope you're well SlyphStorm, and everyone else too. You severely undermined how clever Rainbow Factory actually is. Pegasus Device is very clear about what's happening and really tries to nail in to you what's happening. It uses analogies and other techniques to really push this in. It's amazing and clever. But I'd argue Rainbow Factory is the same level of cleverness in a different way, if not, more clever. Rainbow Factory is purposefullly ambiguous. It's unsettling but it doesn't ever outright say anything. It gives descriptions of the factory's false light perceptions "its alluring decor and social psychology" as well as the factory actually being dark "fears and horrors come true," "not a single soul gets through" but it still doesn't actually say what it does or how it achieves this. When the song says "not a single soul gets through" it's super powerful because it intentionally leaves room for interpretation. It manages to achieve super unsettling vibes without telling you what's actually happening and only giving off hints for you to form an idea of what's happening. Everything is up to interpretation and that's what makes the best horror stories. Rainbow Factory is much more clever than you gave it credit for. Ignore the fact I'm extremely late it's just because I still come back to these songs

I think this is probably my favourite Brony song at the moment. I was never a huge fan of the concept behind the Rainbow Factory, but I can't deny that the songs Glaze and H8_Seed created about it were spectacular pieces of music, and this is just about the best addition to complete the Rainbow Factory music trilogy anyone could ask for =D You did a brilliant job SlyphStorm! FritzyBeat That it really is. I never really did like the original Rainbow Factory (something about it just didn't sit right with me, although I have yet to find what that was to this day), but I've enjoyed Awoken, and now I'm enjoying this even more. By far the best of the three.

[PEGASUS DEVICE STORY SPOILERS] Hearing this song first and then reading the story, I was kind of.. disappointed by the ending. At 3:58 of the song I always imagined Scootaloo killing Rainbow Dash, full of hatred and disgust, preferably throwing her into the Pegasus Device. And in the actual ending, she just killed herself hoping it would change Dash? What kind of ending is that? Surely there must've been a way for her to kill Dash and leave the foals alive. The foals didn't even look for her as they were let go. She was just gone. A really unsatisfying ending for a great story, in my opinion.

Damn I can’t believe I came full circle from fnaf to other songs to rainbow factory (I knew a lot about this creepy pastas back in the day I don’t remember everything I knew just the 2 years I knew that I found out about it 2013-2014) I was once very familiar with a lot of creepy pastas I just never imagined that it would come back full circle
I'm just gonna go ahead and say it; this song is leagues above the original rainbow factory, and that song is amazing. Basically, what is'm saying is that this song is at least 20% cooler than the original rainbow factory, if you get my joke. I also really love the reprises of two other songs I love at the end, and the last scootaloo part/the second scootaloo part has to be my favorite. The lyrics flow so well, and it doesn't sound off in that odd way rainbow factory did. And even the instrumental parts are gorgeous. I just can't find anything wrong with this song... Also, the intro is really cool, the animation part, I mean, and how it transfers into the picture. It, just like the song, is gorgeous, even though it's only there for a short time. It's been so long. I used to listen to this on repeat. I wanted inspiration for a dark rap for Halloween and remembered this gem, but after 4 years I forgot how perfect it is. And when it got to the rainbow factory and awoken references I started tearing up. It was an overwhelming flood of memories, of the fanfics, the songs, the days where I'd watch MLP with my old HighSchool friends, and most importantly being a part of a community. Now it all feels like another life ago, and this song made me feel those things again. 4 years only feels like it if you pay attention to the days, not when you leave it behind I hope you're well SlyphStorm, and everyone else too. I may no longer be a brony, but dammit were those the days. /)
I feel like this song takes place right before "Awoken," as in the death of Scootaloo or something resulted in H8_Seed escaping, as it was the final straw for him. I mean, the last line in the song is "Now I've awoken, and I'm taking back control," which is a line directly from Awoken. I'm just theorizing, tho

Compared to Rainbow Factory (Which WAS good), this is much more clever and better sounding. I mean like, Comparing blood and death to chess is a perfect analogy.

You severely undermined how clever Rainbow Factory actually is.
Pegasus Device is very clear about what's happening and really tries to nail in to you what's happening. It uses analogies and other techniques to really push this in. It's amazing and clever. But I'd argue Rainbow Factory is the same level of cleverness in a different way, if not, more clever.
Rainbow Factory is purposefullly ambiguous. It's unsettling but it doesn't ever outright say anything. It gives descriptions of the factory's false light perceptions "its alluring decor and social psychology" as well as the factory actually being dark "fears and horrors come true," "not a single soul gets through" but it still doesn't actually say what it does or how it achieves this. When the song says "not a single soul gets through" it's super powerful because it intentionally leaves room for interpretation. It manages to achieve super unsettling vibes without telling you what's actually happening and only giving off hints for you to form an idea of what's happening. Everything is up to interpretation and that's what makes the best horror stories. Rainbow Factory is much more clever than you gave it credit for.

I think this is probably my favourite Brony song at the moment. I was never a huge fan of the concept behind the Rainbow Factory, but I can't deny that the songs Glaze and H8_Seed created about it were spectacular pieces of music, and this is just about the best addition to complete the Rainbow Factory music trilogy anyone could ask for =D

Hearing this song first and then reading the story, I was kind of.. disappointed by the ending. At 3:58 of the song I always imagined Scootaloo killing Rainbow Dash, full of hatred and disgust, preferably throwing her into the Pegasus Device. And in the actual ending, she just killed herself hoping it would change Dash? What kind of ending is that? Surely there must've been a way for her to kill Dash and leave the foals alive. The foals didn't even look for her as they were let go. She was just gone.
A really unsatisfying ending for a great story, in my opinion.
