I know the right? While it's definitely impressive the show (a child-oriented cartoon, no less) managed 9 seasons without recycling plots too much... I still get that "just one more" feeling every time I think about "the end of the end", you know?
The thing I think we need to remember is that what was always awesome about the show was the community based around it, not just the show itself. And, judging by the steady feed of fanfiction still being produced on fimfiction.net, the fact said site has a strong Patreon supporter-base (self included by the way), and the fact Equestrian Daily is still very much alive and kicking, I don't think we have too much to worry about :-).
Even if we did, with a name IRL that means "lover of horses" (and a middle name meaning "God is my judge"), I'm a diehard fan to the end, and I'll be darned if that changes :-)

Yep. It Starts with Rainbow Factory, then Awoken, followed by Pegasus Device.
Prototype is also related, though not sure where into the story it fits. Likely either right before or after Awoken.
If you really wanna stretch out to more unknown songs, there's another track about the Rainbow Factory called "Deep Integration" by F1ak that's pretty good. Not sure where it fits though, I think that's left up to the imagination.

@@flyingturret208thecannon5 This is based on a fanfic by the same name. While the main characters were exploring the Rainbow Factory, they came across an amnesiac Scootaloo. They agreed to name her Absentia, since she effectively had no identity.
I recently found who they are talking about when they say “my mane is purple my coat is orange” they are referring to Scootaloo who couldn’t fly still to this day can’t fly because her wings can’t grow to full size

First off: the song is called Pegasus Device which is based off the fanfiction of the same name and all of this stuff is explicitly said (provided you read Rainbow Factory and understand that Absentia is Scootaloo).
Secondly: because this song is based off Pegasus Device and Rainbow Factory, it should be know that Scootaloo can fly in the story except she still isn't proficient which goes against what you said about Scootaloo not being able to fly (which is the canonical status for this character's flight but not how it is presented in the story).
Just trying to shed some light.

CoffeeFan15 Seems about right. I did a quick BPM test by clicking my mouse for 10 seconds to the beat of the song and I got 180 BPM, so 90 is probably about right. The key seems to change throughout the song as well.

Read the fanfic of pegasus device, it is the REAL ending of rainbow factory.
It's been so long. I used to listen to this on repeat. I wanted inspiration for a dark rap for Halloween and remembered this gem, but after 4 years I forgot how perfect it is. And when it got to the rainbow factory and awoken references I started tearing up. It was an overwhelming flood of memories, of the fanfics, the songs, the days where I'd watch MLP with my old HighSchool friends, and most importantly being a part of a community. Now it all feels like another life ago, and this song made me feel those things again. 4 years only feels like it if you pay attention to the days, not when you leave it behind I hope you're well SlyphStorm, and everyone else too. I may no longer be a brony, but dammit were those the days. /)
It's now hit 5 million. Beautiful.
Compared to Rainbow Factory (Which WAS good), this is much more clever and better sounding. I mean like, Comparing blood and death to chess is a perfect analogy.

Pegasus Device is very clear about what's happening and really tries to nail in to you what's happening. It uses analogies and other techniques to really push this in. It's amazing and clever. But I'd argue Rainbow Factory is the same level of cleverness in a different way, if not, more clever.
Rainbow Factory is purposefullly ambiguous. It's unsettling but it doesn't ever outright say anything. It gives descriptions of the factory's false light perceptions "its alluring decor and social psychology" as well as the factory actually being dark "fears and horrors come true," "not a single soul gets through" but it still doesn't actually say what it does or how it achieves this. When the song says "not a single soul gets through" it's super powerful because it intentionally leaves room for interpretation. It manages to achieve super unsettling vibes without telling you what's actually happening and only giving off hints for you to form an idea of what's happening. Everything is up to interpretation and that's what makes the best horror stories. Rainbow Factory is much more clever than you gave it credit for.

Damn I can’t believe I came full circle from fnaf to other songs to rainbow factory (I knew a lot about this creepy pastas back in the day I don’t remember everything I knew just the 2 years I knew that I found out about it 2013-2014) I was once very familiar with a lot of creepy pastas I just never imagined that it would come back full circle

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it; this song is leagues above the original rainbow factory, and that song is amazing. Basically, what is'm saying is that this song is at least 20% cooler than the original rainbow factory, if you get my joke. I also really love the reprises of two other songs I love at the end, and the last scootaloo part/the second scootaloo part has to be my favorite. The lyrics flow so well, and it doesn't sound off in that odd way rainbow factory did. And even the instrumental parts are gorgeous. I just can't find anything wrong with this song... Also, the intro is really cool, the animation part, I mean, and how it transfers into the picture. It, just like the song, is gorgeous, even though it's only there for a short time. I feel like this song takes place right before "Awoken," as in the death of Scootaloo or something resulted in H8_Seed escaping, as it was the final straw for him. I mean, the last line in the song is "Now I've awoken, and I'm taking back control," which is a line directly from Awoken. I'm just theorizing, tho
I think half of Pegasus Device (the first half) is like years after the factory was shut down and they are telling the tales of the Pegasus Device. Then the other half is what you are saying

I think this is probably my favourite Brony song at the moment. I was never a huge fan of the concept behind the Rainbow Factory, but I can't deny that the songs Glaze and H8_Seed created about it were spectacular pieces of music, and this is just about the best addition to complete the Rainbow Factory music trilogy anyone could ask for =D

FritzyBeat That it really is. I never really did like the original Rainbow Factory (something about it just didn't sit right with me, although I have yet to find what that was to this day), but I've enjoyed Awoken, and now I'm enjoying this even more. By far the best of the three.
