Pro tip for console players: hold right trigger to charge an attack, then hold the command troop button to enter slow motion. The attack will trigger in slow motion giving you much better aim, especially at high speed. The down side is that you end up fighting your fights in slow motion, making them take 10x longer. This is really good early game when your opponent has limited troops that you can pick off from horseback. Good luck.

Another good tip is about having horses in your inventory..certain ones like sumpter or mule will increase your inventory capacity but may slow you down while other horses will increase your party speed in map travel. Also having too many foot soldiers slows you down but they will use the free horses that you have in your inventory.
Does it matter what class the horse is? For example can the foot soldiers use noble or war mounts? Also are you saying the sumpter or work horses slow your party down?? Thanks for the general advice!

Another question as regards to part management for console. How fo i organise them into groups? E.g. all my companions in one fighting group; or spliting my archers into 2 groups.

Tip #1 is terrible. Do not sell your civilian gear, you need it for several quest/mission types such as prison breaks which raise Roguery better than anything else. Instead, if playing campaign, go directly to Poros and purchase as many hogs/sheep as possible. Next, cut them up into meat and hides then sell the meat and hides until you are able to purchase the rest of the hogs and sheep. Finally chop those animals up also and sell the meat and hides and then look at your denars.

I'm no expert, but I find the 1v1's are the easiest fights. Basically just shield up, take a hit on it, then swing back with one of your own. Most of the time I will score a hit, but if you find your opponent is blocking a lot of them, then try using the 'shield bash'. I only learned this tonight, but (on playstation) you have to hold L2 to raise your shield, and then press 'down' and 'square's at the same time. If you connect this will open up their Defense, and give you a slightly larger opening to get your hits in. I'm actually finding it a bit OP on the default difficulty. Hope this helps somewhat, bud. 👊 EDIT: Haha, I was typing while I was watching. Turns out this dude gives the same tip at the end.

Try torny great way to earn money early game! 🖖

How do I zoom out when on the battlefield so I can get a Birdseye view? I’m on Xbox
Thank you sooo very useful and well done! QUESTION: How can one pick up aa weapon on the floor at a tournament...Thanks and keep up the good work!
For me on xbox it's y on ps I think it's triangle 🖖
@@TheCriticallyClueless Sorry to bother perhaps the PS5 guys will know...I keep pressuring down the L3 analog while fighting and my view switches to 1st person it makes me usually lose the battle...any tips for that?
anyone tried mouse and keyboard on xbox x? I played in pc and it seems impossible to me to play with the controler
Same, I have 500 hours on PC , couldn’t even play 1 hour on console, controls are almost impossible
@@danielc9967 well , i finally get used to it. Its not as confortable as pc but its playable. Its nor worth to buy the set just for this , and i dont know how would it work (i read mouse and keyb only works in menu and not in battles)
When u search for games with mouse and keyb avaliables on xbox , this one doesnt appear on the list.
Sorry 4 my english, i speak spanish
@@danielc9967 if u need some advice just let me know. The most usefull for me is that u drag units in battle by holding RT
Los controles son horribles para el combate
You're forgetting about the little bites you can have in the towns which makes your clothes very important such as the minor gangs that you can take out in the town and increase your reputation by taking them out you gain plus two with anyone in town and considering there's three spots for gangs you can make plus two off of three different spots therefore making six influence with people or reputation that are notable within the town Little way to increase oh and everything you do everyone in the zone that you're in hears about it
Nice tip, did not know that
Ill smelt like 30 weapons. Make 6 THlongswords and sell em for 750 each. The hassle makes it worth just selling it for cost honestly since u need to farm/forge wood
Do you know a faster way for upgrading troops on console? I know on PC you can use Control to upgrade and transfer in sets of 5. Any button like that for console? Great vid. 👍
^^^^
Click party, then click left stick and then Lt and then x.
Buy every dagger that costs less than 350 gold and smelt them down. Buy cheap hardwood in Batannia and craft two handed swords for max swing damage. Its effectively a snowball that prints money out of thin air. Hail spiffing brit and strat gaming
Still having trouble with commanding. Anytime I highlight a specific unit to do something the all wll
anyway to edit my character mid playthrough besides the barber
Trying to find out the exact same thing
Doubt it
There’s barbers in towns, you can change your appearance there
How do I turn off aging? Or is that included with turning off hero death?
Helpful 😁
Glad to hear 🖖
Good Video:)
I got 2 questions
First question is, how can i use advanced hotkeys on ps4 ?
Second one is how can i say my troops to use a siege weapon ?
lances has to be the hardest thing to learn in this game lmao
good video, tnx. One question: can yu re-map/diable camera switching between 1. person and 3.person? im playing on x-box in it is mapped på l3 and in any fight i end up changing camera angle 987 times and therfore find it impossible to fight.
I been trying to find out how to use the controller. Idk how to switch between weapons
Really good! Thanks Monk 🤙
How to ride horse sideways on console?
Practice Fights let you improve skills and grind money bit by bit. As well as get used to the combat system.
I play on ps4 and I've tried to lock on to enemies by pressing the right analog stick but it did nothing. How do I fix this??
Another question as regards to part management for console.
How fo i organise them into groups? E.g. all my companions in one fighting group; or spliting my archers into 2 groups.
This video might help, however companions don't work the same as warband 🖖

How do you couch lances?
R1 or RB on xbox
I finished the tutorial, then was just stood there and completely overwhelmed with what to do next, i ended up turning off my console,
Think the game needed abit more hand holding after the tut, ive had to come on here to see what i actually have to do
Lol I totally get that, it's a huge game 🖖
Tip #1 is terrible. Do not sell your civilian gear, you need it for several quest/mission types such as prison breaks which raise Roguery better than anything else.
Instead, if playing campaign, go directly to Poros and purchase as many hogs/sheep as possible. Next, cut them up into meat and hides then sell the meat and hides until you are able to purchase the rest of the hogs and sheep. Finally chop those animals up also and sell the meat and hides and then look at your denars.
Hogs are a good strategy, clearly someone who knows the game. But I'd still take those 200plus danars when I first started lol
@@TheCriticallyClueless you won't need it when you're sitting at 2800-3800 from hogs/sheep
Honestly I've gotta agree, keep the gear until you get better gear and then sell that gear instead leaving yourself defenceless
❤ We need More Tips my Lord!
I'll absolutely be doing another tips video 🖖
I found this game for 8$ for the deluxe online, I’ve been looking at it for a while but I’ve been unsure. Guess I’ll have to check it out for that price
Let's is know how you get on 🖖
@@TheCriticallyClueless I’m a bit confused on what to do. I did the tutorial and i literally have no idea what to do. I’ve been traveling around I have no money now and have lost all my shit
I get that, having an idea going in, where you wanna go, what you want to focus on is important.
Maybe try watching my playthrough, or another for ideas 💡 🤔
How do you sprint? Can’t figure it out at all
I feel like in alot of situations the enemy's leave no openings especially in 1v1s they just spam with unlimited stamina and with a shield any tips?
@@Romanplaystation Yeah i found out now before i was just hitting with shields but u need to let them swing then hit with shield thanks anyway 👍
Yo tips 9 is there a option that auto put ur soldiers to raise shields?
How do u check your troop tech tree on playstation
For console, is the multillayer capped at 64 players?
