Good guide, thanks for making a console specific one. Tips for consideration. Character creation. Your Characters physical dimensions effects combat. Being very tall means you need to swing much lower from horse back, it gives you a view advantage in 1st person when in ranks but can get you shot in the head if you choose the not quite tall enough wall, your shield protects less of your body if your very large, your shield can be very hard to see over if your very small but protects more of your body. Consider your characters physical dimensions, the effect are minimal generally but can be significant at extremes. Equipment Helmets without face masking dont work very well if you stab/shoot them in the face, this applies to you too. Most of you will be cavalry, most of you will die because you bought really nice helmets and body armour and a pesant with a rusty spoon cut off your leg as you rode by. Where you're armoured matters. Inventory management. Next to every item is a round button. It locks the item/s in your inventory. It can be used for prisoners and troops too. Lock all of the items you wish to keep. Lock all your regular trade and smithing items (food, ores, ingots, goods like velvet etc), horses and equipment you wish to keep. After each battle, select the equipment items you wish to keep and immediately lock them in your inventory, then use the arrow at the top of the loot inventory to loot all you can carry. Now when you come to trade at a city, use the arrow button at the top of your inventory to TRADE ALL, this will dump all the gear youve accumulated that you havent locked. This saves you lots of time not having to individually manage every piece of junk. This method is also useful for quick prisoner management if you lock those you wish to recruit you can then sell all prisoners instead of choosing individually and keep those you hope to convert to your benevolent cause/despotic land grab. Gameplay tip Be inquisitive, the graphics, mechanics and dialogue boxs in the political/social interface can lead to the impression that the game is quite simplistic in my opinion. There is much more going on behind the scenes than apperance might first suggest. There is a complex trade, social relationship and political aspect to the game which is effected by each individual NPC and yourselfs actions. Each NPC has character traits and skills, theres a chance these appear in your offspring for good or bad too. You can socially/politically/economically engineer outcomes. Dynasty Tip. Dont choose a spouse until you know what your getting into, younger couples have more kids, they have relatives your about to be associated with, there maybe political ramifications etc. Or just wing it and pick the hot one with the cool armor, You do you. Happy empire building.
Recruit some troops. Go after looters and bandits. Sell tgeir stuff. Rinse and repeat until you have about 75 men. Vland cav mixx of imperial and valndian inf with crossbows. Go after caravans of a far off empire. Take their stuff and sell it. Get to about 150 troops. Seige and steal a castle. Be sure to have about 200k gold. Make peace. Boom castle. Send family and companions on trade caravans. Make money.
I am so happy your still making guide videos for this game I just got it like 3 weeks ago but barely played since I've been very busy but I'm watching this then starting and not stopping till I can't keep my eyes open lmao
From a fresh campaign grab 5 troops, buy all the pigs from Zestea, go through the mountains to Zeonica, sell half or more of just the hogs for a phat profit and trade skill. Slaughter the rest, sell the hides, keep the meat. Then run “down” past Vostrum, Danustica, then “up” past Onira. Buy all the salt from the salt locations assuming it’s under 40/each. By time you get back to Poros the economy tends to be a bit better and you can sell a bunch of salt for 70+. Quick way to get the profit perk for trade.
I always have 50 points in medicin on my companions and family! The 25 first points will give you 30% back if you go down in battle! And at 50 points you get 10 hit more if it is you that attack after a battle!
Also when you get enough soldiers and are working as a mercenary or just on your own if you come across bandit camps don’t destroy them let them go for some time and produce bandits you can battle against win and get loot, xp, renown etc.
I attempted this before do you have to be pauses or where do you use it 🤔 no promp came up after I tried but I'm assuming it disables trophy so I was just curious more or less what cheats there are to play with on another run
Love the console love! Anyone know when they are going to patch these annoying crashes ? With that in mind save your game like ALOT ! Nothing more annoying than losing hours of work and in things like persuasion attempts or sneaking into towns so heart breaking when you fail after absolutely killing it before you crashed! Another great way to make money is to put 5 skill points into Roguery , wven if its only at 2 , and fight everything you can beat and sell the loot. Roguery makes the loot slighlty better quality. Not essential, because the loot gets better the longer you play, but worth a try! Happy hunting Bannerlords!
You can turn up the auto save frequency in options. It’s been running great on PS5 for me. Maybe a reinstall or repair installation ? That has fixed problems in other games for me
All I want is a video that tells me the best controller settings. That’s it, nothing else for this game. I can work that out myself. Just give the people a video that’s based on what is the best controller settings for ease of use.

If you want a huge amount of tribesman throwing knives go down to aserai towns they have loads of them!

Day 991 of my first playthrough, and had no idea I could lock targets...
Liked and subbed, thanks for all the tips!
Your very welcome 🖖
Wish locking items worked on Xbox still. It bugged out like a year ago and now locked items will get sold along with unlocked if you do sell all 😢
You are amazing! Thank you! I love medieval / epic pieces and this game is so fun but frustrating because I’m in the beginning. You are a gem!
omg the click right analog down tip was awesome. I am not even a noob

I agree medic is so important 🖖
Good to see people still play this game

L1+R2+Dpad Down also opens the chest menu on console

I do bring the cheat menu up in the video, I've also made other videos based around the cheats too 🖖
You can also build stamina by fighting in person.

Unfortunately no news on the next update 🖖

The best i can say is smith a nd merc work to make a ton of money before you make or join a faction
Are Valandian infantry really that much better than Imperial shield inf? Been using Legionaires as a shield wall to cover my Falxmen’s advance
No I wouldn't say so, imperial are very good troops all round too, just a personal preference 🖖
Wheres the best place to find a shortbill? I know vlandia but spent hours goin city to city cant find it
Higher level weapons and gear appear further in to the game. Usually after a year or so in game time. I had the same problem trying to find a glaive
@@Rob-pe4fx thank you so much

That's all on u. I find the base controls super easy to use. But to each thier own with control layouts
