I need some advice I’m a 13 year old xc and track runner who want to do a marathon I have trained for this for about 2 months my longest run has been 30 miles I did that in about 4 hours and 20 minutes I took one break during the run for some ice cream but anyways do you think it’s safe if so what do you think my time should be just asking for a friend. Love your content

Bro keep it slow and never miss stretches, and cool downs. I also began at your age uptil 16 occasionally did stretches and was just grinding miles. At 16 i couldn't even squat, let alone run a mile. Ny legs were tight and that damaged my knees and snkle joints pretty bad. I also wasn't using my glutes well. So i had to take 3 years off of running. Now I'm 19 and finally have no pain in ankles and knees. On yt follow squat university, and this guy here and you will have enough knowledge to remain injury free.
Good luck and...i would suggest run half marathons for now. After running half marathons for 2 years then move towards full marathons.
Time doesn't matter. Take your break. Even if you have to take 2 mins rest between a mile do it! But donit always

@@ookai1929 thank you for the advice I have been more smart with my runs and the winter break I have been taking time off it has been great I got to spend time with my whole family and I have been road biking a lot more now to work different muscles and I have focused on conditioning more that grinding for miles I have been lifting as well but I lift light but max of reps I make sure I have good form before I increase weight and reps I hope you have a great season 😁

Walking backwards= good if you want to strengthen hamstrings but have a weak/painful lower back
