Got this on my Tacoma, I left the purple wire intact. I have seen so many times a vehicle behind me texting or not paying attention to the road. That quick strobe it does for 1 second really gets the attention of distracted drivers and makes them look up and at you. The last thing I want is my new to me Tacoma getting rear-ended by some idiot texting. Cant recommend this light enough.
