People don’t buy trucks to get good fuel mileage lol. If you buy a truck and expect anything more than 20 on average you’ll be greatly disappointed, especially if you do a lot of stop and go traffic

I don’t care how hard you try to put down Toyota tundra ,I’ll continue buying Toyota because they’re better than Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, and Nissan.

Considering that Toyota only sold 107k Tundras in 2020(US and Canada), there aren't going to be a slew of aftermarket parts. 2020 Platinum 4x4 driver!

Great feedback man! I'm on my second Tacoma and I always have had 265/70r17 and I love it. It give me plenty of ground clearance for what I do (Surf fishing) and no huge impact on gas mileage, drivebality and all the stuff. I do get a lot of thumbsup for my truck and I'm happy with it. 😊🛻Also, try the Falken Wildpeak AT3, they are slightly bigger than the other brands, but the down side is that they are also a bit heavier. But totally worth it for me at least 😊

Well reaming the truck to redline won’t give you an accurate answer once you put on your e brake on perfectly flat ground with an automatic I knew to disregard any info you were putting out

My pedal commander just sh!t the bed yesterday.. went into limp mode and threw the codes... Pedal commander said they'd charged me to repair it... Or give me$40 off new one... Cause I was over warranty.. so that's in the garbage now... It did make a needed difference in the Silverado... But I only had it for about 10,000 miles.. not impressed for the money spent..

Acceleration like that no wonder you get bad gas mileage. I love my V8 Tundra. The V6 trend is not going to last because the life of those engines will be shorten if you tow.

Probably doesn’t help that you’re also flooring the fucking pedal all the time. Chill out on the acceleration dude

As long as you take your foot off the accelerator before making any changes on the Pedal Commander you should be fine. Had mine for a few months now with no issues.

My decision is simple. I'm keeping my tacoma as is. Don't need any lift kit. I always ask myself this question...do I need it or do I want it? I'm not spending a few grand for a want.

If the road test is looking to see how bad it is on gas….then you’re doing a great on. 5000RPM ??? And a 70mile road trip is hardly enough to get an average MPg. Take it slow, get up to speed easy, glide…..& do it for a couple tanks of gas…..that’ll give you a reading of how good it can be. Even at 17-20MPG, and that’s similar to the new V6, however the new V6 isn’t there just to improve the mileage by 1-2, it’s there to drastically improve emissions.

70 miles in no way constitutes a "road trip"...and just looking at the info on the dash and not doing the actual math.... well... time to go back to school.

Gas is almost the same as buying a luxury brand car also…premium gas adds up to almost the same amount spent in the truck.

It's all about the wheel offset and that's why you were rubbing with 285s. Your Taco still looks great and does the job with those 32" tires

Do/can you install these with stock suspension? Or do you need to upgrade your entire setup?

I used sumo springs on my Prius front coils to give it a slight lift when the rear springs were upgraded to carry a custom cargo tool box w/bike rack and they do compress in a progressive way softening the end point ( making the ride feel floaty). On the Tacoma, I used ride rite air bags cradled upon cups and noticed hard hits on occasion on the front lower ball joint. If you want more play the spring can be cut down. The products are pricey, however i know they hold up and are an easy way to fine tune suspension by softening end point contact as well as minimizing body roll.
