Nice light and good install video. For what this thing cost, it should come with a switch that mounts directly into the factory cutout. A switch is available, you should add instructions to cut off the switch that comes with this and upgrade to one that installs in the factory slots.

Gotta upgrade the rocker switch to something that looks a little more high end and fits the entire knockout w/o drilling the blank, something more like the 3-in-1 switch
That vent looked like it was sealed I think the bulge is just for looks. There are videos where people use different light bars and for them into the plastic peice in the bulge.
I tried today to install the 42” on my 2021 Tundra but even after I tightened everything, it still had some play when I lightly pushed on the light bar. Only two hex bolts holding it in place. Just scared it’s going to rattle (break) or wear my paint out. Any suggestions or fixes to this problem as I am surely not the only person to have this.
The light came with a both with extra brackets, bolts, hex bolts and lock washers. Was told to only use two hex bolts and nothing else. Something doesn’t sound right.
Are their any cheaper, but still good quality substitutes for these 2 lightbars? $1500 for the pair for no more than I'd use them is way to much. I like the appearance and fitment of these though.

We do not do any installs in house, sorry! Any mechanics shop should be able to install something like this. The rocker switches are only available as shown though they can be replaced with any switch of your choice!

The top light bar is only available for up to the 2019 models, there is a change with the 2020 model wiring for that NSV Lightbar. We should have the 2020 version available at some point, but we are not sure specifically when that will be. Wish I had more information for you, sorry about that!

Sorry to say that we have never had to wire that light bar up differently, we wouldn't have the information that you would need to do this, but if you would like to tackle this yourself it could be possible! Good luck with that, let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Quick question. The folks up here in Canada, alot of our Tundras have our block heaters plug on the left side of that grill. Is there any way to install the 42" light bar and still keep our block heater plugs in play ?
You should be able to install these with the block heater, there shouldnt be anything different with that heater and the installation of this light bar!
I got all my lights from HR I even got the NSV I want this light bar but 4-6 week wait is not good can you guys message me when in stock so I can pay and receive it in about 2 weeks
I hate to say it but we will not have a way of doing that other than just buying the product up front and waiting for it to come in stock. You could email in and check if it is in stock, and then when it is you could get them on order then!
Beautiful bar, but way more difficult to install than the video looks. Took me 4 hours and I'm medium to high level handy. Adjustability should be way easier.
I installed the 30” bar on my ‘18 Tundra. It’s kind of a bitch if you have large hands. It would be better if DD made the brackets so they only required 2 of the nuts to be removed on each side. Not 3. Apparently the wiring just happens magically (“Now you just wire it up…” )since they don’t tell you how to do that, in written or video form. -Make sure you have a ready supply of expletives ready to go. -Remember how that grill screen is mounted and how much space you need to take it out because if you mount your 30” light too far forward, it won’t go back in. -Remove the tow hooks before attempting to reach the 3 nuts for the bracket to bumper attachment. -Spray the same bolts down with WD-40. -Don’t bother trying to loosen the top nut reaching through the lower grill opening. After you’ve convinced the entire neighborhood you have a raging case of Tourette’s Syndrome, you might be ready to put the light bar on. -Remember to leave room for that grill screen to maneuver. I also clipped off the angles on the lower tabs so I didn’t have to use as much space, thus keeping the bar as far forward as possible. If you’re using a switch box (Auxbeam, etc.) you’ll disconnect the DD switch, and plug in the cable with the female butt connector. Cut off that but connector and plug that wire into the switch box. The red wire goes to the battery and the black/ ground to the ground. Have fun!
That is because the light bar itself has the mounting points on it, not a bracket that attaches to that light bar. This light bar was specifically designed to plug right into the factory wiring, and moun t to points that already exist in that hood scoop. Sorry about that!

Also, last time you mentioned that you are still working on the fitment of the NSV bar for hood, coz the Toyota have changed some parts. So, have you managed to change the fitment of the bar according to 2020 model.?
So as far as the removal of the block heater, you shouldnt need to do any of that as the installation should be the same as the previous models. I did confirm that the fitment is exactly the same for the 2020 4Runner with that Stealth Mount light bar, so you are good to go there!

I am sorry about that, I was also dealing with another guy looking at the 4Runner VisionX Stealth Mount Light Bar😂 For your vehicle, the stealth mount light bar from Diode Dynamics will fit with no issues, but the NSV Hood Buldge light bar will not fit that vehicle, we are still waiting on NSV to come out with the 2020 model. The top light bar will fit directly into that hood bulge, but I do not have the exact dimensions. With the harness and the lightbar itself, they are designed only for use in that Tundra hood bulge, so if you were planning on using that elsewhere they will not work for you. Are they a flood pattern and the middle a spot light pattern? I checked your website and it says driving or combo but that doesn’t really tell you the light beam pattern.

How well do all these lights match each other in color? Factory heads, fogs, NSV bar and Diode bar. I'm not trying to have 4 different shades of light coming off the front of my Tundra. Looks like a pretty good match in the video, how about in person though? Does or will NSV make their own lower light bar?

What does the Primary Optic / Driving / Combo option mean that's required??
Those are a few different beam pattern options that are offered by Diode Dynamics. Combo is very useful for a bar like this.

They offer Amber light bars as well as regular white ones. Amber works well in dust and fog.

You're exactly right! The outer optics diffuse the light, the optics toward the center are more of a spot pattern.
