I would say that Dumb Ways To Die is an iconic PSA. Not only is it the most viewed PSA on TH-cam but a lot of people made a lot of parodies and remakes of it, it was even trending on TikTok for a bit last year. That one PSA spawned a whole franchise of mobile apps and they’re still going strong today which is impressive.

So McGruff does still exist, and even sponsored cars in NASCAR, primarily at Daytona for Emerling-Gase Motorsports. Idk about adverts though because I'm just a British guy who likes NASCAR.

Every major anti-drug psa for decades had like three modes (that often overlapped):
1) So over the top weird it makes drugs look oddly comedic
2) "If you even TOUCH a joint you will commit crimes."
3) One of the most horrendously vile things portraying drug addicts as committing a constant crime against society for existing

In the uk we didnt have the icons psa we had the you wouldnt steal a car, piracy its a crime one. It was on every dvd in the 00s and early 2010s Its ironic though because the company pirated the music for it apparently

Regarding Smokey Bear Zach, I believe Smokey is the most recognised advertising character in US history.
I remember reading an article which indicated about 75% of Americans asked knew about Smokey.

Something I think not much knew about the We’re Not Candy PSA is that it’s actually a retake and edited version of a segment of an episode of Kid’s Corner. The original is around the 7 minute mark.

That's odd. I never saw the Icons PSA on any DVDs I owned. That said, I had a rather sheltered childhood and don't own any of the ones you mentioned. Was it on Australian ones?

I saw it on a horror movie DVD years ago. I don't remember which one is was. I just remembered telling my friend the ad was scarier than the movie 😂I did see a Truth PSA at the beginning of the second hangover movie on DVD. It's the Splode one
