  • I try to cut some arrows using a normal chop saw I have. This is in hopes to avoid having to go out to the bow shop every time I want to cut some new arrows. Hope you guys enjoyed the video!

    Good idea, chop saw is one of the most common saws for a home owner. I would experiment with an arrow you don't mind losing. Maybe use a zero clearance insert as well. Other blades maybe better than the factory cross cut blade.

      Yeah there is definitely some room for improvement but it was just fun to see if it worked

    I got a little chop saw from harbor freight that uses 2” metal cut off wheels. It was like $25 and I have cut around 100 arrows so far

    That was awesome. There are so many different cutters out there. Mostly marketing? Thank you for that idea.

    Thanks bud. I had the same exact idea and wanted to see if someone else had tried it first. Nice tip with the tape. I'm going to pick up an abrasive wheel for metal though, they're only like ten bucks, and should cut smoother.

      That is a great idea. I have also used a little Dremel tool that was like 18 bucks and it works great too

      What do you mean by that? I ordered some cut but they didn't cut them. Considering DIY

    You could set up a stop to cut all arrows exactly the same.

    I think for two dollars it’s a worthwhile investment to not shove your hand full of carbon splinters..

      It's true, always that risk when messing with arrows.

    Did you use the arrows for hunting yet? How are they holding up

    • @jonathanbeck6663
      @jonathanbeck6663  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I used them the last 2 years but I haven't gotten anything, but they are still holding up great.

    Diablo chopsaw blade?

    • @jonathanbeck6663
      @jonathanbeck6663  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it is just the blade I had on there. A finer tooth saw blade would work better

      @@jonathanbeck6663 yep a finer blade would work better but like you im going to use what i already have in my shop. thanks, especially for the tape trick.

    So they should work for free ? They have to pay for the saw and blades , when theybare helping you for free they could have been helping a paying customer . Theybare paying the guy that's cutting the arrows his wage while he is cutting your arrow .
