you can give that helmet to your otters to make them a lot tougher. they will no longer fear the piranhas or the salmon :)

The alpha megladons draws every creature near them to fight you, same as the alpha raptors.. same thing, they draws dilos, other raptors etc from great distance.... tricky in a cave when you easy can get swarmed.
I think a sea glide would come in handy here
how tf does your basilosaurus have 50k hp
Easiest I’ve ever seen this cave by far every time I go in there dozens and dozens of lvl 400+ only mostly Mossa and squid
Also the respawn rate is insane has stuff respawning around every corner
Yeah, that's not true.
Ged I did it today, there are tuesos and mosas around 250 but that’s only if you wander too far it. The artifact is easy to miss but I didn’t see tusos in that general path
I literally had this problem 20 minutes ago.
Under water videos are the best! I'm getting into Ark more and your videos have helped a lot. Just hope I can have as much knowledge and be able to tame things like you someday!
Well first attempt was an utter failure, shark swarm with alpha pinned my basilosaur in place and ate it, then me.
2nd and 3rd was the same the cave just seems to instantly respawn level 290 alpha megalodon with shark swarm any time i go in there. I'm down 3 basilosaurs now, I think I need a new plan.
Hmmm ok tested with destroy wild dinos so not instant respawn but I think I overtuned something as the average level was 200+ and before using the code I'd run into 7 alpha megalodon + swarm, 3 Tsutho, 3 mosa's (together which was what made me give up and use the admin codes) plus of course the dunkle's. Is that really normal for this cave?
Ok managed to beat it just and I'd like to add an extra warning for anyone else doing this. In addition to the dunkle's if you see an alpha megalodon run, lure it outside the cave and fight it there because they agro the dunkle's if you fight them in the cave.
I lost a 150 mosa imediatley after entering. Same thing. Instant alpha and a ton of sharks and dunklys. Not to mention jellyfish
Man just did this cave on my own single player, almost lost my basilo with 50k health had to retreat force feed it back up (which took forever) then go back in
i walk a rock elemental into that cave and clean house. Nothing aggro's the rock golem in there. you can kill alpha tus and mosa's with a golem and they wont fight back.
How? Can they breathe underwater

I almost forgot how bad the models and animations were back in the day of the argi😂 they definitly are way better now❤

For some reason there is 300+ megalodons on my single player. It impossible to kill them like that
Oh man, I play offline and I've never watched many Ark tutorial videos. I'm laughing so much at your comments. Thanks for the tip on the cryopod btw, I got my Bary out of the upper south cave thanks to you! :) I proceeded to not listen to your cave tame tips, and brought my other bary into the carno cave. it was so hard to get out with the jumps!
This cave is a lot easier than what I've experienced, level 500 and 600 megs and level 200 alpha
Hi, just started getting into ark and these videos have been a great help, but this cave has me worried, would it be easier if I go in with an army of bari's following me on aggressive

What difficulty setting so you have your game on?
5, same as public servers.
Thank you! Not sure if I changed it accidentally or not, but my solo world was set at 0.2 and I couldn't find any high level dinos. Changed it to 1.0 to see what would change and I found a level 84 alpha rex that took me 10 minutes to take down. Level 5 makes wild dinos appear max 150 correct?
Would the Basil not make it to the artifact?
Why haven't we seen you tame a dunkly?
That's a good question! I need to tame one.

How big was the one that got away?
16:10 I have had no problems with any creatures in that cave and my pickle is only a lvl 68.
