No . They use different balls. Women’s is smaller to accommodate smaller hands, thus it’s easier to shoot through a hoop.

@@SaturnFrost I’m obvs paraphrasing, it’s just a summation from alot what Taurasi has said on ESPN & other shows about Caitlin. She never said she “sucks” but has questioned her talent level saying things like “It’s a new standard, IF she’s great it will translate”, or “She dominates against 18 year olds” (implying she doubts her talent). IMO the most egregious thing she said was she adamantly turned down taking Caitlin with the 1st pick. She said she would take a few players over her and dident even think it was an argument saying “I would take these players over her, NEXT QUESTION”

Gotta respect Caitlin Clark. She turned down offers from traditional college basketball powerhouses to play for underdog Iowa whose team was filled with homegrown talent. This parallels Larry Bird's college career. Both took their underdog teams to the Finals but ultimately fell short. She did it her way and achieved greatness along the way.

Not only did I not watch women’s basketball two months ago, I didn’t watch any sports, until a random video of CC playing caught my eye. I was riveted, and tuned into the last couple final four games. Now I’m learning about basketball rules, and about more great players in the WNBA league. Clark represents the “rising tide that lifts all boats” and it’s fun to see.

Yes. Caitlin is a great player. Realize though - Lisa Bruder, Iowa's coach, adjusted her coaching style so CC could play her game. Success followed for both Iowa & CC. Clark needs improvement in a lot of places. What is she gonna do when they shut her 3 point shots down . I really paid attention to Miss Clark in the final 16 this year. I had heard about her scoring each game wanting to see was she a ball hog or involved with the team. I found more about her than expected. First game I saw her play in the madness, she was passing the ball for others to score. Passing that was like Mahomes passing the ball to his players wondering not only how she saw them also getting it to them at the right moment to score. Seeing her shoot again like the today's top QBs throwing the ball with both of her feet spread and/or not a hand but with an arm in her face hitting most of the shots. What really put me on her side was her after interviews talking about her fellow players. She talked uplifting her players when her scoring and passing was the real reason. She shown me what a real team player she was. Her interviews anytime never I saw bashed anyone, that is way different with the some of the women in WNBA had done to her making false statements. She took them and carried on not what I saw or heard negative toward them on interviews.

Clark is an outstanding player but being surrounded by a lousy team and a weak coach will only get the young lade injured. It was clear when Caitlin was cheep shotted by Carter and none of Clark's teammates came to her aid. That sucks!! Hopefully, the Fever's management wakes up and finds a good coach to come in and change the culture.

"Nobody ever mentions the fact that the WNBA uses a smaller ball. If they used the men's size ball, it would cut their 3-point percentage from 40 to 25%. Not to mention, the 3-point line is closer. If you put Steph vs. Clark in a 3-point contest with a men's ball and 3-point line, it would be silly how much better Steph or even a good college player would be. Even a good high school shooter would be vs. Clark. Not a hater, she is a great female athlete. Just stop comparing women to men in sports."

College women and men both use the same size ball as the NBA. CC's records
were made in College so there is no reason that she couldn't be competitive
against a male player or anyone else.

Dude you tricked us. You had us so engaged until you just had to ruin your own segment by squeezing in that ridiculous introduction of LeBron James as the greatest player to ever play. Now you whole spot has been seriously tainted. You're real smart to make that comment early in this video bc the majority of your viewers would've cut you off like I'm sure they did anyway once that bs garbage came out your mouth.

coach Sides will destroy Caitlyn. Sides wants Caitlyn to shoot long 2's, no more logo 3's and fewer limit line 3's. She wants Caitlyn to focus on her terrific passing abilities.

Her shooting makes her a better passer. It makes her to be doubled or at leastmakes the opponent to play honest defense on her and enale her to find an open teammate.

If you are a basketball legend you can critique the young player any good player will take the constructive criticism and make their game better they will reach out or at least embrace the feedback and use it to motivate them. These male players are supposed to say what they said about her. These NBA players will say the same about any of the females.

The NBA and WNBA HOFs are full of legendary players who never won a championship. It's a team game. It takes more than one star player to win games over a season. Steph's current team won't win another championship until after he's retired. It's a team game.
