So brilliant! Love when Preach says that Rogan encourages people to talk, to converse and have a different opinion; to be more in the middle on issues rather than on the extreme left or right. Preach says, "You know what the political parties hate? People in the middle. People that are nuanced"

"You're not a bad person for not taking on all the worlds suffering." Love that. I just want to enjoy life , why should I worry about things I can't change? When I was in my teens I was so obsessed with all the war crimes happening in the middle east and oppression in other countries. I wish I could go back in time to slap myself out of it and tell my self to focus on things that benefit myself and my future.

One thing I think it's VERY important to point out about Rogan and the people who defend him is WHY they defend him. There's a colossal difference between people defending Rogan and people who defend Trump or Fauci or any other person who have a cult of personality around them, is that for the most part people are defending Rogan because they actually listen to his podcast, or at least have in the past, and know that he isn't a racist or homophobic, trans-phobic, anti vaccine, misogynistic or any of the other mischaracterizations they try to level at him.
With someone like Trump (and I'm only his him as an example because everything he does, he does turned up to 11 so it's easier to see), people defending him know that with many of the things he's called there's some truth to. They defend him because they believe him to be on their side. Fauci is a more complicated one. I've watched both sides of the coverage on him, so I know that much of the accusations about him ARE true. He has lied to the public, admittedly in the case of the masks , and likely when it comes to gain of function. However I know that those that deified him only watch news sources that cater to people with their worldview, so it's possible for them not have heard the credible criticism.
In Rogan's case the defend the man because they know the criticism is just flat out bullshit.
