      Autism, to be explained in the simplest way, simply means that your brain works a bit differently than the majority. The main characteristics are having trouble with social cues, sensory issues, repetitive, soothing behaviors (like eating beans) and so on. To most people they can seem very “normal” (but I would avoid using that word)

      people are scared of what they don't understand, and in this case it's a young woman speaking facts, who started off as a teenager speaking facts, and if there's one thing grumpy older people hate, it's youths trying to make a difference and change their world because "BACK IN MY DAY WE DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT RUBBISH LIKE THAT" - well we're not in their day anymore, we're in ours, and they'll just have to get used to that the same way we will in a few generations

      Yeahhh... Well the thing about celebrities and activists... Is that they don't ACTUALLY work on the things they preach. They just there to talk and open their mouths with some "positive bs".... I'm literally a professional Environmentalist and NOBODY asked me to be on tv and they couldn't care less if I defend the Environment on the streets. And btw... Mannyyyyyyyyy people like me who dedicate their hearts and souls to the cause. We literally have heroes that NOBODY cares about.... So if you think I'm here for fame or money ahahahah NOPE! It's just to point out the "white insanity" of the thing really... Because a white Swedish girl can rant on tv and EVERYBODY will listen, while others, who work their ass off, from other ethnicities get ZERO. Not even an interview!!! Because a small white girl who never worked will provide "real information" about the state of things you know... And I would bet that if she works on the 'real stuff' she will quickly find out that it isn't a place for a white girl.... What... Being in the filth that people create and dispose??? Being paid the minimum wage for that??? Getting trashed by the anti-environmentalists on the streets??? Oh my.... Where can I sign for that "piece of action". Yeah... Let's see where she will be in 20 years.
      Btw... Not trying to bash Greta, I actually like her... It's just, she doesn't know her place in the world yet. It's like 'yeah kid you are alright but... you ain't the real deal. one thing is talking, another one is doing'

      Which is worse though, blocking traffic or letting the world become inhabitable through destruction? Either way, no one will be driving to work on time cause in the second case there will be no work to drive to. Don’t interpret her message as you’re better than them because you do nothing. Coming from someone who has done nothing myself as of yet.

    • @nii_amart
      @nii_amart ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@simsthre4078 what she meant was that there are people actually protesting in peaceful ways and getting their message across. Blocking someone's route to work is not going to solve anything. • @simsthre4078
      @simsthre4078 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nii_amart She didn’t mean sit on your backside and feel good criticising then while doing less than them. You love peaceful protests because you can ignore them, that defeats the point of protesting. How are you protesting? What are you doing? How do you know they don’t care and they’re just seeking attention? You’re like one of those old men she talked about that’s threatened so you villainise activists as just attention seekers, so you can feel better about not doing anything. It’s common behaviour don’t feel bad it’s basic psychology for humans to react that way. Fact is those activists you think you’re better than and call fake and attention seekers so you can justify your apathy and be the good guy in the narrative, are doing more good than you, because at least they’re making the issue harder to ignore. The reason they go to those lengths is because most humans are so dumb, you have to literally stop them in their tracks and disrupt their behavioural patterns for them to even pay any attention at all when their own planet is crumbling beneath them. You’re complaining about traffic when the thing you depend on to breathe and be alive is going to falter before you do. And I doubt those people on the front lines getting the brunt of it in other countries think you’re better than those activists blocking traffic.

      Block an oil mogul's driveway, or interrupt logistics of ExxonMobil or Shell would send a stronger message. Disrupting daily commuters is not helpful.
